I love listening & watching these 2 discuss neighborhoods & giving real world interpretations of Hawaii & just keeping it real as possible. Keep it coming Mahe & Derek!!!!!
The disadvantages to chain link fences is the feeling that you can't get away from your neighbors. It is bad enough to hear them (which can also be blocked slightly by more solid fencing) but I would like to just sit in my backyard without people looking at me. That is neat to see Waiahole Poi Factory has a spot in the mall now, I guess. Seems like they might get more business there. I found out about them on a news report several years ago.
I didn’t know that a view can make that much more money, u guys always teach me something every video. Not to mention all the mama inspo mahe posts on IG. ❤❤❤❤
I agree with you on Kaneohe. Wife and I not from Hawaii....actually from Puerto Rico and she is from Vietnam. So we both have island blood if you will. We visit Oahu the most of all the island. Oahu has everything. Windward side we try to go there as much as possible. Kaaawa area beaches we love that area. We did picked up the vibe of Kaneohe. Something more special and island feel about that town to us. I am 59 wife is 61 so we are from that older generation now. Is not the most glamorous but it's the most zen at least for us. We also like Kailua for sure with its beaches and Kailua town....but it's close enough to Kaneohe. Good informative video. Hope those towns stay rooted. People there are very cool. Mahalo!
The pen in Mahe's hair is the first thing I noticed about this video. Also, Windward Mall reminds me of The Shops At Tanforan in San Bruno, Ca in its better days.
Are you joking? I will take this not so nice weather all year, are you awake?did you look at the mainland, try to sleep or live with your windows open and yes it is expensive because it is far from everything. Extremely high real estate, can't make the island grow unless you're God.As far as I can see,you can't take your money with you so why not enjoy your life .

"How come our pigeon went up since we came to Kaneohe?!" 😆 Too funny! I love this talk story format, very enjoyable to watch and listen! 🤙
We don’t love the living an hour from Lanakai Beach but also can’t complain about only living an hour from Lanakai 😂

i miss the red bricks in Windward mall
Mahe where are those cute pants from girl!? I need a pair
Mahe-are your cool pants from Manaola?
Lot more rain in Kaneohe
My 6 bitcoin will buy my Hawaiian house soon lol (dreamin)
Crylua is where the haoles live. Kaneohe is where the locals live
Please no move
Dont move to kailua or kaneohe we get enough people already!!
Costa Ricas much nicer. Move there.
Kailua=Orange County....Kaneohe= Hilo
I’d say more like Manhattan Beach vs San Pedro…close, but different areas.
Hawaii is a joke ... extremely high real estate ....crime ....not so nice weather .....expensive ...far from everything
Jose and Joke are almost the same. Seem kinda the same to me. Aloooohha! 🤙🏽
