You have not shot it much than because it's crap....Just look how the rear slide rails are not even molded into the frame, they are just held in by the roll pin..
I bought 2 during Freedom Week. $49.95 for the complete frame, and $199.95 for a docter cut slide, and $129.95 for a basic slide. Both slides were complete. But i did but a stainless spiral fluted treaded barrel fit $109.95. No transfer fee from my FFL because he's awesome and my birthday is this month. Not to mention free shipping on all the parts! What a crazy great deal!!! PSA is awesome for Freedom Week!
PSA sent one around to content creators to shoot and it had quite a few thousand rounds through it as a torture/reliability test and they shot it with no problems due to the pistol itself. You can still find those videos and they are very informative.
I’m fortunate enough to live near a PSA store. I get their AAC 124 grain ammo. $25 for a 100 rounds and it runs flawlessly in my G43X. After this review I May have to look into getting the Dagger!
I just got mine last weekend. I bought the frame and slide separately, which is an excellent value. The slide is FDE with a threaded barrel and slide cuts. The frame is black. With my Rugged Obsidian on, it looks awesome. Unfortunately, I haven’t shot it yet but will do so soon. Like you I love Glocks! I think they’re one of the best utilitarian firearms made. They just work! Keep the content rolling brother and feel better!
For what I paid for my dagger the value has been thru the roof . I only run glock oem mags haven't had a issue. Not to mention it looks so sweet on top of being functional
Love the finish on the stainless slides. Might buy one without and rmr cut since I already have a black one with a Holosun. They are definitely quality weapons. The firing pin issue was taken care of I believe a while ago. There customer service will take care of you if you have any issues.
I bought two basic grey Daggers (G19 Gen 3 clones) when PSA was offering a bundle with 10 Pmags and a carry bag (holds the pistol and all 10 mags) for $350. Yeah, that's value. They've both been 100% reliable and will serve as share guns if a situation warrants.
@@drritzy6618 A share gun, to me, is simply that: a gun that you intend to share with a trusted friend or family member if a situation warrants and that other person is unarmed. Nothing mysterious or ethereal, just a way of expressing that concept.
Daggers are really solid firearms. I have 3 of them 2 optics ready versions. They are like Lego’s and fun the build out as you chose. Definitely a bargain for the price you can get one at. Mine has been flawless with thousands of rounds through them and taking Glock mags is a plus and parts compatibility with Glock is a bonus. Once your shoot the hinge trigger it won’t be an issue. Trigger gets better with time. I own several Glocks but this is worth it for whatever reason you need.
I’d be very interested in seeing what you have to say about the micro dagger. Just sent a Shield Plus back to S&W after 100 rounds for a second warranty issue. Shot a G43x for the first time today and I’m thinking that lemon-flavored Shield might have been a mistake.
Great to know about that round count so far. When I first ordered my lower It was just as a novelty and didnt ever plan on carrying it, but the more I see the more I'm thinking it might be my winter piece
Had to send one dagger slide back, out of spec. Now the barrel in my dagger which was fine with the ammo I had, locks up with AAC ammo, even though it is fine in all my other 9mms. The lead is too short causing the bullet to get stuck in rifling. The only way to clear the gun is to force the slide back, and remove the the striker, or fire the gun. I would imagine with no lead, and a stuck bullet the pressures have to be unsafe. I have had a good relationship with PSA, but between reports of broken firing pins, and my own issues of out of spec parts they need to get on their quality control.
PSA is awesome and when I went to South Carolina I got to visit their store in Charleston. Wall after wall of pistols, rifles, shotguns it was so much fun. The PSA PA15 is an excellent rifle. I haven't messed with the Daggers but I grabbed some mags for the 43x and they run 100% If you go to a Palmetto State store they give you so many cool stickers at checkout too. I'd buy their products all day over a lot of other manufacturers. I need to get my hands on a Dagger
I’ve given a lot of thought to the PSA Dagger. I’m happy you have one and I can’t wait to see how it performs for you. I hope you feel better soon my friend.
Aside from the infamous pin walk there was a design flaw with the locking block on earlier models that caused the barrel feed ramp to smack magazines out of the gun, especially when using aftermarket barrels, but that was fixed back in 2021. PSA also coated the trigger parts in black DLC early on, but now uses bare (and factory polished) stainless steel, giving the gun a lighter and smoother trigger pull than a factory Glock. Only complaint I have is the use of roll-pins instead of solid pins like other Glock clones. Makes trigger upgrades or deep cleaning a pain in the ass.
PSA is certainly doing some good work at a great price point. Hope you get a chance to put this one through the paces and see how it holds up to a Glock. You should be able to quickly judge it's functional merits. Look forward to more.
I built that 26L using a grey Dagger slide on a grey P80 subcompact frame (serialized complete frame). Im using the 2a3d 3-d printed dust cover , 10rd factory Glock mag for carry and a 15rd w/X-grip as backup.... Its my new favorite carry piece, thanks for the heads-up brother 👍
Good points. The PSA dagger is not a Glock with 200-300 dollars of savings. You pay extra for the Glock name. So a PSA dagger is probably more like a Glock with 100 dollar savings.
SPN! What's up bro! So I've run my Hooper gunworks slide and it works really well on the PSA frame. I've ran about 500+ rounds and haven't had an issue. Great ergonomic frame for some builds!
Florida Fire sprinkler fitter here, can relate to long hot days of work and buying at Glock prices, been waiting for your PSA Dagger review, pretty nice G19 clone for the price that excepts Glock mags.
One advantage of PSA Daggers is that they're compatible with most Glock 19 Gen 3 parts, so if you hate Glock's mediocre ergonomics and the spongy trigger, ordering a PSA Dagger lower and Frankensteining a Glagger 19 might be a solution to your problems.
@upinalaska49 you would be surprised how cheap glocks are we get em at about 300 a pop and sell em at 550 but that's wholesale prices you can't buy just 1 glock for 300

I hope you got the Dagger. Taurus is garbage. Even a used Glock trade in with 1000 rounds is 100% better. Sure Taurus has good costumer service, but who cares when you have to send it back multiple times for engineering issues.
My dagger full size with threaded barrel ran great. Just got it and took IT to the range for the first time this weekend and it ran flawlessly. Very nice gun so far and a blast to shoot. Only thing I'm noticing right away is the cerekote job on them is not durable and mine is already coming off.
Just got one & I must say I am in love. Found a guy downsizing his collection & gave him $380 for the Compact including Olight & two Pmags (which in my opinion the Pmags are the next dependable mag after Factory)
From what I have heard about PSA... (I'm not a customer of theirs, YET, budget is tight RN) that one of the biggest way that they shave down the costs, is to do as much of what they do, in house. So part of what we are not paying for, is middleman upcharge. In the case of PSA, they are mostly a buy direct company. So they're not spending a fortune shipping to stores all over the country. Yeah, that does suck as far as retail goes. But it gets us good guns at lower cost. BTW- SUPPORT YOUR BRICK AND MORTAR LGS!!!! Looking forwards to getting a Dagger compact as well. Another thing to mention. On their site, PSA is always running deals. And they'll even sell off some of their minor blemished items at a sale price. And you don't have to buy it all at once. Got the budget to drop 90 bucks? Buy a frame. Picked up a few extra hours last week? Buy a slide. Want a budget truck gun? Pick up a blemished frame or slide and throw it in there. It's just cosmetic. Nothing DAMAGED.
I've got a compact complete dagger is all black been flawless. Got a full frame which I'm thinking of making into a Glock 23X. Not sure about punching out the roll pins to change the ejector though. Got some replacement roll pins from Brownells. We'll see...
i’m in the process of converting my dagger into a glock 33 with a grip chop and frame mods to make the smaller slide / rails fit the frame 😂 will post results once i’m able to get a g33 slide and barrel
I was excited, until I found that it still had the Gen3 Glock mag catch. As a lefty, that's a deal breaker for me. Several of the clone manufacturers did change that one part, and it was disappointing to see that PSA didn't do that. Oh and as an aside, totally agree on the box thing. People crap on S&W because of their cardboard boxes, I'm like, who cares? Even worse than Glock with that was Springfield. The box that my XDS came in had to be worth at least $75-$100. And for what? It ended up in the garage on the shelf with all the others 😂.
Psa sells direct to consumers witch makes them able to sell them cheaper i worked at a gun shop and we got glocks for 300 a pop and sold them for 550 so it makes me wonder how much glocks are really worth
I think the difference in price between the Glock and the dagger is a function of a different business model. PSA selling to the civilian market. Glock using the extra $200 you give them to support their expenses pursuing military and le contracts around the globe.
Dagger is a amazing gun for its price, my parents dagger runs flawlessly and eats anything once we broke it in. Gun is super super accurate now and trigger is way better. Made me go ahead and buy one in FDE, my only issue is mine isn’t accurate, trigger is trash, failure to feed with some few shots, and these problems all occurred when I was putting the first few rounds through gun for the first time ever. On my PSA Dagger on top of slide where the casing ejects I have a scratch across it. I had it at the range once & fired less than a 100 rounds. Has anyone else had this happen? Was cleaned prior to the range.
The place they cut costs compared to glock or any other manufacturer for that matter is by offering their products direct to consumer. By cutting out the dealer they are saving the buyer hundreds. From my experience shooting both glocks and daggers, id say the quality is at least on par with Glock. Not to mention the features you can get on daggers compared to Glocks. The value is insane
I had been debating PSA for awhile until someone pointed that out to me. Not just the retailer but also there's no third party distributor that you see between other manufacturers and the buyer. I took a shot on their AR-10 last month and am very glad I did. I was impressed with the quality of that rifle so much, it sold me on making my next 9mm a Dagger and my next AR-15 a PSA as well.
I'm 10 minutes away from a palmetto state armory here in Georgia. Are these the best guns? No. Are these reliable, works and good? Yes. I bought 2 complete lowers for $50 each! I got a doctor's cut slide complete for $200. Then I got a basic slide complete for $150. That is awesome! I got 2 guns for $450. It's good to see a company that can do this. Not everyone can afford a $9,000 9mm lol.
Mine came with surlresser high nite sights and optics cut on a July sale a year ago 149.99 ..then bought a frame 49.99$ .. Can't bet the cost ..and I owned a SW ve this triggers 100% better idk what they do different its slot different ..after about 709 rounds its maybe 4 pounds and smooth to a solid brake
They don't always need to cut corners to make an expensive firearm. They can just choose to not make 800% profit and instead make "only" 400% profit. It only takes Glock $40 to make a firearm (including Every cost), but they still sell them for $100's. Therefore, any company could easily start making firearms for $40 and then sell them for $300 instead of $500 or $600. They just choose to not have such a high markup and appeal to people who don't want to spend twice as much money for a Brand, when they could spend half and get a gun that's about as good. I know that don't mean that other generic companies don't cut corners though. Some of them clearly do. (and at 400% profit, any company can thrive). It's just tough for some companies though, because so many people are just stuck on the Glock brand Glocks. Then again, they did steal the design of an already existing, extremely popular firearm.
It won't outlast a Glock...We already broke the rear slide rail on ours...Look how PSA designed the rear slide rail, it is NOT like the Glock design....

Not everyone can afford a $9,000 9mm lol.
Yes agreed, respect!
I have the PSA full size Dagger, shoot good and fills better in my hand then my G19 gen 5.
A lot of glocks price....is the name🤷
Putting anything in the comments
That's a nice firearm for $260
I like this clone better than the Anderson Manufacturing 9mm.
I wish Cacafornia would just add this to the roster
Good video
It won't outlast a Glock...We already broke the rear slide rail on ours...Look how PSA designed the rear slide rail, it is NOT like the Glock design....
Interesting, thanks for sharing. That’s why I stick with my Glocks!
