The reason this works so well is because Shepard is basically the same archetype as James bond, one person army who saves the day and bangs the hotties. So Austin powers being a send up of james bond transfers to mass effect perfectly

@@SHADOWofJUSTiCE not really... afaik bioware ruined the series all on their own. casey hudson wrote the ending to me3 and refused to allow critiquing by actual writers, then bioware placed priority upon hudsons ultimate idea being the failure that was anthem, completely neglecting andromeda until the last year and a half of development with a new studio. ea, throughout all this, did require frostbite which was an issue but they did offer bioware more time on andromeda, which was declined resulting in a further mess of a launch and a deeper hole for the series. blaming it on ea is just a copout for the mistakes of bioware.

Honestly, the modders for ME3 on PC did the game the justice it deserved. The game desperately needed it. Finally... What in Sam-fuck does racism and horrible videogame endings have to do with one another? That's such a dumb comparison to make.
