    Hi, just thought I would add a couple thoughts here. For me, where the Apple TV stands out over other streamers (and I have multiple as well) is Apple Music, and multi channel. Surround music is limited unless you have Super Audio CDs, or maybe Tidal does it now. I don't know if Amazon does it outside maybe their Echo Studio smart speaker, or any current Echo speaker.
    I have the 2019, Shield TV Pro, a 2022 Roku Ultra, my Apple TV 4K (2022), and a couple of Panasonic disc players. So, I feel like I have enough experience to say that, it all depends on your needs and which ecosystem you're in, or if you want to support multiple ecosystems.

      Apple is great if your in their ecosystem and want everything 1st party. Outside of that, you can get more from other devices

    Hi, just want to add that you did not review the Apple 4K TV (3rd Gen) 2022 model. Just wanted to mention that. Yours is the much earlier generation version. Unless you bought only the Apple remote for this review.

      @rohastechreviews  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The specs between the 2nd gen and 3rd gen is pretty much the same. The remote is the big difference.

      You reviewed the 2021 Apple TV. The 2022 device uses the A15 bionic chip, which is a major upgrade over the 2nd gen 2021 unit which uses the A12 chip. I’ve had both the 2021 & 2022 ATV and the 2022 unit is definitely quicker. Also the 2022 unit has 128 GB and 64GB of onboard storage.

    why would you not review the current model on the market and do an older version?

      It's the exact same model. Only difference is the charging on the remote

    You’ve butchered a great device. The ATV isn’t splattered with the ads on the UI you typically see on Android devices. Name me a streaming device that has 128 GB’s of onboard storage.

    • @rohastechreviews
      @rohastechreviews  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      2015 shield had 500gb. Also, with that amount of storage, you should have freedom to do stuff. Why spend all that money when you can already do it on your smart tv?

      @@rohastechreviews Smart TV’s don’t have an A15 Bionic processor like the 2022 ATV. Very quick.

      @rohastechreviews  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@greghull3189 it won't make a streaming app faster then what it was built to do. Again, if your wanting it to be a bit quicker and pay way more and not have the flexibility that you can get on other devices, then go for it

      @@rohastechreviews I cut the cord in ‘17 and have used Firesticks, 2nd gen Fire TV’s, Roku sticks, Roku Ultras and Chromecast with Google TVs since that time. What I’ve discovered in these 6 years of streaming isn’t necessarily the speed which is important but what separates the Apple TV’s from the rest is the stability of the device. With the gig Ethernet port and the A10, A12 & now the A15 processor, the Apple TV’s never freeze or have the buffering issues I had with the other devices I mentioned above. Especially with the Fire Sticks and Chromecast with Google TV where it was required to constantly clear cache due to the lack of storage. You get what you pay for and that’s why the Apple TV and Nvidia Shield Pro are the best streaming devices out there.

      @@greghull3189 okay, so why would you need a gig of ethernet port to stream Netflix when Netflix won't push their servers to give you that much power from the start?

    So it didn’t meet your specific needs. That doesn’t make it horrible. Sounds like you didn’t do enough research before you purchased it.

      He reviewed the 2021 ATV. The new 2022 device has the A15 chip. To compare the ATV which has 128 GB of storage to a Fire Stick (8 GB) is a joke.

    • @rohastechreviews
      @rohastechreviews  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      For people who are not in the ecosystem and are trying to do more, I stand by what I said. If you want the basics, why spend this amount of money when you can get all the same exact apps on just about any smart TV? Makes no sense. That's why it's called a review, to test the product. Another word is also called research. But that hard
