This brings back fond memories of 30 years ago when I lived in Portland and went wheeling every other weekend. Best times were spring before things dried out and late fall, lots of snotty clay !! Been spending more time up there again lately, I've got to get out on some of those trails !! Thanks for sharing !
I have a love hate relationship with PNW wheeling. However, most of my hate is centered on the post wheeling clean up 😅 Snotty clay is also ‘sticky’ clay! Thanks for watching!
You bet! Although I have a few older videos with music, I've grown to appreciate the rawness the more recent ones as well. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Great video. 👍 I'm biased cause I wheel in an FJ40, but your videos are some of the best on TH-cam. When I was young, I had a friend with a flatfender. You guys remind me of those old days.
I’ve heard great things about them. Unfortunately, I’m not going to be able to convince the misses that I need to replace my nearly new KO2’s until they wear down a little more. In other words, it’s time to see how well the old FJ does smoke shows 😉
Fun video! My place near the steam plant means I'll be having a look via my 1962 Model B Tote Gote. Fun videos to watch all around. Look forward to your next excursion!
@FJAdventurer It's permit access only for a few years. However, I have 25+ years of exploration under my belt. There are some super cool places to see on Weyerhaeuser lands. Sadly, the company has severely limited public access in recent years.
I would like to explore that area more. I'll have to try to figure out what it takes to get permitted access. We aren't a threat to TransAlta or anyone else property.
Captain Black on the day of filming. But I've switched to Christmas Cookie for December 😂 We are new to the pipe world. Do you have any recommendations?
@ I’m smoking my Xmas blends now, so take a peek at Figgy Pudding (at country squire pipe shop), golden days of yore, and of course Christmas cheer. Pipes and 40’s is an amazing thing!
Every time theres a shot of you in the FJ bouncing around a corner at full speed I picture that scene in Ace Ventura when he’s driving the Land Cruiser and bouncing around in his seat 🤣

Thank you for producing this without any goofy music and just good off road sounds.

Fun times!
Definitely!
Some great wheeling here.
Thanks - We are keeping it as old school as possible.

Also. I've said before, but I'll say again, with aired down Toyo MT tires, I'd be surprised if you ever needed your winch on that trail.
If only I had another $1500 laying around to replace my brand new crappy KO2’s 😂
Wow, thanks man! I feel sorry for the folks that don’t have one of these two rigs in their lives.
You can try the falken wildpeak MT I have a set on my bj40 they are awesome @@FJAdventurer

You guys should do that more often.
I checked with AI, and it confirmed you are correct.
😂 the speeding past and waving hi cracked me up. This looked like a fun adventure!
This may have been our best outing to date. I may have to scour google earth for more hidden gems.
That was awesome!
Wow! Thanks! It was a great adventure 😅

I had to google tote goat, haha… is that a little 2-wheeler?
Tono was my old stomping grounds as a kid. There’s lots of space to explore out there!
@FJAdventurer Yep...2 wheels. My place isn't a full-time residence. However, I know the Vail Tree Farm well. Some of the surrounding areas as well.
Are the gates open out there?

Pipes and trails! Love it - what is the blend in your pipe?

Unfortunately, the camera doesn’t pick catch me belting out Chitty Chitty bang bang!
I’d scuff the first part of the video off or it will be a freeway for a week, shut down the next week. Love that wheeling though!
Haha... The gates to that area are only open for a short period of time, so even if there is an uptick in traffic, it will be short lived.
By the way, nice Bronco! What state are you in?
@@FJAdventurer Scappoose, Or. stones throw.
