Much to do about nothing. Hull is just a polite person. I don't even think it was necessarily a compliment, she was pointing out that Ms Gray's passes can come from anywhere even when they are not exspected. So folks would prefer hate from Hull ? Not gonna happen. If Lexi is in the league a long time she will probably end up playing with lots of diffrent players. She just has manners and decorum when refering to other players, especialy when their a team mate. There's already enough hate in the WNBA so lets just throw it away humm. After all were all supposed to be adults. When I played sports you would always acknowledge an oppnents skill or playing ability. Does not mean their your mate it's just mutual respect and seems this is sadley missing these days.
Many years ago a Stoke City football mid field player, Alan Hudson, a great mid field creative footballer. Played a long pass for a team mate to run onto. He said effing hell it’s to long I will never reach that before it’s goes out. Alan said I have put back spin on it, it will stop and not go out. Sure enough the ball stopped like a Tiger Woods pitch into the green. That was the last time no one did not run for that pass. Moral of the story, all great ball players can do things with a ball that us mere mortals can only dream of. And it is not restricted to only one player, they just have different ways to pass that ball and make it work and do magic.
