Love the sounds you're getting in this video. I have been playing lap steel with benders for about a year primarily in C6 tuning. I also watched your benders in C6 video. My goal is to get the lap steel sound. In your opinion, what tuning works best to get the most out of the benders? After watching this, I am thinking I need to switch to D tuning.

Thanks Troy, it certainly opens things up, as you say. Appreciate it. Now I have to change the strings as I went back to C6th tuning. I'd like to have a volume pedal, maybe Santa will bring me one? I've been good, mostly. :)

Another great video, TB.
Hit a Major 3 note chord in backslant position two frets in a high register, then pivot on the top note and go to strait position and tell me if that's not the coolest sound you ever heard on a steel guitar 🙂
