Because we were already experiencing a Nor'easter (cold front with rain) before the hurticane hit which was making our temperatures much lower than normal. It does seem that there's a lot of damage, and some people are gone, but it doesn't seem to be as biblical as some people were saying it would be. That's only from what I've seen in the news so far.
@@RaymondCarver-vy9ukThat's a good thing!
@@RaymondCarver-vy9ukthat is because it weakened right before landfall the roughest was after the eye came over and the 2nd wall came through. I stayed up late watching Utube channel with tornado chasers down there driving while the hurricane hit. Some were in Venice at Venice Beach. They were in three different locations in between Tampa, and Venice. After the 2nd wall was coming in they drove North. One team went into Tampa. The winds were really bad they got out before the flooding got to bad but the flood waters came up above their bumper some of them.got water inside the floor of the car... They are now out helping in the cleaning and recovering. Yes it could have been much worse. But that is the power of prayer from many people. I think God help calm the storm. Call me crazy but I really do.
If underwriters can't insure it, why should the taxpayers?
Same for forest fires, seriously the people we stole this from told us this happened for a thousand years predictable disasters.
160 mph winds?????? The whole state saw 40 to 50 mph winds at best...The main stream media is still up to no good these days....
They went to 70+ dummy
40 mph would not cause the damage you see on the video dummy
Better to exaggerate and over-hype than to underestimate

Why does the ticker say customers and not residents? Why are they forcing us to disconnect with the people in Florida?
That may have been in reference to the power company.
The residents (and businesses) are customers of the power company - what’s the big deal ?
It’s interesting, because I’m seeing people showing leftover damage from Helene and passing it off as damage from Milton.
Yes there was flooding and some storm surge, but nowhere near what was being predicted… it seems like the worst of the damage and loss of life was from the tornadoes, and that’s so sad and tragic.
All I can say is I pray every governor acts like Ron Desantie in times of any kind of disaster he is A true leader for his state
Helene, then Milton, then gon’ be Oscar💀💀💀
Does anyone have any information on how to go help clean up
Join Red Cross or Samaritan Purse.
If you know how to be of help - they will find you
God bless all of Florida. It's a beautiful state. 🙏 🇺🇸
Praying for You !!! 🙏
3m+ Customers? Is that what they're calling us now?
So, a fairly typical weather anomaly that didn't cause too much damage as compared to the monster hurricane that we get every season that causes a ton of damage. Sounds like news media just overreacting again
I still am glad they called for evacuation you never know how bad it will get.
This was a dumb comment on so many levels. The evacuation saved lives.
@@CanyonsCarver absolutely
I got your point. Agree 100%. Any lives lost would have been blamed on Covid, anyway. The media is opportunistic bottom feeders; the agit prop for the Left.
God keeps these victims safe from this hurricane you are in my prayers 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Florida: *gets absolutely wrecked*
Our government (on either side): quick! Send 18 trillion dollar monies to Israel! *wipes brow" 😢
Republicans voted against money for disaster relief, even those from the states that were clobbered.
Florida: Red state, we don’t want government handouts.

You prayed for these hurricanes ?
@@michaelashley2855 we prayed the hurricanes would weaken and keep The Floridians safe. What is wrong with that? We as Christians are suppose to pray.
It doesn’t look bad at all.
God bless everyone such devastation
Don’t misuse God bless!!
I will never understand why news agencies put their staff in harms way when a hurricane comes through. Just like Sam Anderson, her was outside doing a news report in a Cat 3 storm. Sorry but that’s just stupid.

Cranes left up? Cranes left up- really? Did the crew, Foreman, Super, anyone... not have enough warning? Osha is going to have field day with this!
Takes a week to take those down. The storm just formed 3 days
@@Ball.Daily11 thats nutz!!! I would like to think theres protocol in place for a situation like that. Second string emergency crew to step in to take it down. Im not a crane expert by far but I certainly will look that up only because now Im curious.
