- I show you how to disable or enable the voice assistant on all Samsung Galaxy phones. The voice assistant (voiceover) feature is for the vision impaired and it will talk back or repeat everything you click. This will work for the Samsung Galaxy s5, s6 s6 edge, s7, s7 edge, s7 active, s8, S8 plus, s9, s9 plus, s10, s10 plus, s10e, Note 5, Note 8, Note 9, Note 10, Note 10 Plus, J7, J5, A10, A20, A30, A40, A50, E7, etc, etc. Let me know if you still need assistance.

Enabled it by accident. Infuriated when I didn't know how to fix it . Your video saved my sanity as that voice drove me crazy. Embarrassed me also. I had a pin on my phone and your tutorial was the only one to include the pin procedure. Took me a few attempts but eventually got to the home screen! I was so relieved after turning off! A huge thank you.

I’m not an Apple fanboy, but I hate android for this reason. By default there’s a shortcut for voice assistant. Just so stupid, why would they make a simple shortcut for this easily pocket enabled when it’s only meant for .0001% of the population. There should be a simple exit button at all times when it is activated.

Okay I have a Samson Galaxy but tapping the pin and then twice each one didn't work but what did work was entering the four digits for my pin normally and then ok twice that opened thank God I had been trying for hours. Never again. But you did help with the double tapping it was just my Ok double tap on. I hope I helped someone else too.
