I love the contrast between the bright yellow man and the dark monochromatic backdrop. It makes the junk pile seem even bigger! Your work always brings me such happiness. Thank you for sharing it!
It's amazing how the seemingly vague pencil sketch underneath is just enough foundation to spark all of this! Honestly! If I were undertaking a big project like this, the pencil sketch would be as detailed as the lineart! 😅 It just goes to show how much confidence you have in you linework! That's quite the flex, I'd say 😆✨
Absolutely awesome work! I was wondering when you would put out another video, and I'm glad to see it was today! I really like what you did with this one, such a crazy amount of meticulous detail. Love the contrast you put in as well.
Back when I still drew, I would do pieces similar to this partly for the challenge of coming up with random stuff to keep inventing, and partly just because it was so relaxing for it to not be so important if it was, well, junky. You could just enjoy making the lines grow. Also, I suspect you did this only because I teased you about using the most ink ever in the last one. I see what you're up to.
This was amazing, as always. Love it. Very timely because I had an idea for a dip pen exercise of my own to get a better sense of it. I adore watching others work with dip pen and ink, and your control is incredible.
Well done!! It makes me wonder how long the dude has been standing there, after the note 'Please organize the inventory.' blew out his hand...and out of the scene!!
Beautiful! Do you ever scan your drawjngs before you paint them? A Henderverse colouring book would be amazing (especially on heavier stock for watercolour!)
I'm so late! Got caught up in school's latest whirlwind of stuff to do 😅 But for now, it's ✨ M E G A C H I L L T I M E !!!! ✨ Time to pull up the latest Henderverse video and think about nothing 😄✨
@@corkbour7708 Thank you! I wanted to try something a bit smaller for the details. Though I’m not sure I like these enclosed “quill” style nibs as much since they are harder to clean and hard to remove from the holder. The search continues!
Good info! Please do keep us posted as the search continues;-) I did move back to the speedball per your recommendation, and the reacquainted use has been going well, thank you for that!
Beautiful! I just checked your shop links and I can't find the Castle Siege print-- I'd really like to buy one to have in my office! Will it be available soon? :)
Wow, it's awesome! I bet my cringey fanart is in that pile somewhere, haha Here's a bunch of random thoughts I had while watching: 1. THE MOON is in the pile for some reason 2. The yellow fella looks like the guy from Curious George 3. You should make a look-and-find page called "find the ant," and it's just three dots 4. Yes, this is my third comment. I'm the talkative type 😅
Thanks for replying! And neat, I figured so- looks really smooth! 😄 Fineliners usually don't fare well on my cold press paper, the texture scrapes away at the nibs 😅

The most interesting and the cutest junk pile I've ever seen 🤩Amazing as always! 👏
I wouldn’t even begin to know where to start a drawing like this. Thanks for sharing your art.

I wonder which used more ink, this one or the one with all the submarines and aircraft? 😆

Amazing stuff. Congrats.
I look forward to your videos more than any others right now. Thank you!

This is SOOOO much harder to do than it looks. It's brilliant, bravo.
Po prostu cudo!

@@jamiebruce4734 Good idea! I always scan my ink drawings before painting just in case I mess up the watercolors, that would be a good use for them.
That would be epic
I enjoyed watching you bring your sketch to life!
Very cool work

How fun, this is great Nik! I see you’re also working with a different style nib. Was there a particular reason for the switch?

lindo trabalho. qual câmera você usa? pois mesmo em fullhd tem uma qualidade excelente.
Круто !!!
I would love to hear your thought process when it comes to these densely detailed pieces. How do you maintain balance and clarity?

And lastly, is the illustration board more like hot press or cold press watercolor paper?
@@InTheWillows75 Thank you! The illustration board I use is hot press, really smooth and perfect for crisp lines.
