God bless you very much! You just helped encouraged a lot of people here to start building. Myself I started by grading the plot, digging a well for water and buying blocks, sand and stones, paying for 15 backs of cement, within less than three months we got to the decking level by putting in like 30k cedis, 25k cedis every month. Cost us like 130k cedis to bring three apartments of chamber and hall self contained(three apartments of one bedroom American standard) to the decking stage. Compiling materials now to finish the decking which will cost roughly like 15k dollars. God is our help!

Nice! What is the square footage of the ground flooe plus the 1st floor of this home?
The plot size is 35ft x 100ft. Construction Area -Ground Floor is 26ft by 57ft... and 1st Floor is 26ft by 59ft. Hope this helps, will provide room dimensions in the next video. it is a 4-bedroom ensuite with another ensuite room for househelp and a guest washroom.

Don't forget to add architecture and structural engineering cost if it's a storey. Omitting structural engineering work can cost you dearly in the end

Yes please James, the design can easily sit on 80 by 40 plot size with just a little modification to get you enough space for parking.

An acre is about 4,000 m2 so if you use a land size of 100ft x 100ft then you get 4plots per acre. If you use a land size of 70ft x 100ft, then u get approximately 6plots per acre. Hope this helps?
