Congrats on the run! The enemies scale pretty hard on Maddening, it was interesting seeing how well you could set up assists. For sure the most unique 0% FE run

Relavently its actually not as good when you actually have growths, since eventually you gain enough hp that a single chain guard will lose you more than 5 hp. Its still pretty good early game though.

So what happened with Kagetsu having the wrong stats? I'm curious to hear the explanation for that nonsense, is that a native bug or something to do with the mod?
My guess is that his stats were tied to his growths, in that the game took his progression that he'd take if he were to have fixed growths and then place him at 15/1 promoted, so putting him at 0% caused him to retain none of those stats. At least, that's my theory
In this game, every prepromotes receives 19 auto levels regardless of their internal level. They work off growths, so depending on how the 0% growths patch is done, these auto levels will do nothing
Watching this video made me realise just how much I truly hate the gacha mechanics that are so prevalent in japanese games. So many amazing abilities locked away behind RNG and/or RNG manip grind...
Time to sell more items to turn Mauvier into a Swordmaster. I'm doing a No Somniel, No Paralogue, No Statbooster Run, and am failing to do enough damage in the final fight.
They were too low. The way the game works is that playabke units have defined stats at a hypothetical level 1, growtg rates and classes. The game then generate then stats you actualy gets by autoleveling them using set level ups too desired level.

It's hard not to take a hit to one's self confidence seeing him call so many of these maps "easy" when I find Maddening quite challenging playing normally. Then again, I also see that he's apparently often ending up on his last time crystal charge, so it can't be "that" easy.
to be honest would dlc even be helpful. 3h gives you dimitries shield and clauds 3 range bow tiki gives revival stone and soren gives you 10 range attacks that hits for 0 and is out of range for dual assists so it's just a glorified taunt
3H+ with byleth can also give an another extra turn, Camilla gives flight, hector is mid, soren enables nos cheese with unreclassed veyle, tiki is a bundle of stats even without starsphere, and we still don't know what Veronica/chrobin will have. Veronica might have some FE8 summoner shenanigans and chrobin will probably have some niche tome/sword synergy, maybe a different take on pair up since I'd did originate in awakening

You can deploy Diamant on the closest deployment tile to Saphir and recruit her on turn1 by just walking to her.

Nice run. I took forever to beat Sombron on hard so it's always nice seeing units take him down quickly on runs like these.

Somehow you are dealing more damage and taking less damage with 0 growths, than I could with Lvl 30+ characters

that all depends. starsphere gives +15% to all growths to anyone. Other 0% growths have allowed items like Metis' Tome.
