In an interview with the actress who plays the queen, she said that although they plan to do a season for every book, they're not necessarily going to follow the same order. There's been speculation that next would be Colin's or Eloise's story, because the way S2 ended.
@@Eris2013 Benedict's story span 2-3 years in total so they will need fillers, plus Colin, Eloise and Francesca's story are on top of each other happening at the same time. So actually the filler will be the First marriage of Francesca that was also a love match, and happens in the middle of it all and there is a long gap before her full story happens. Im not surprised they are not going in proper order since they is some gaps in between with other stories. also love to see book 9 (Violet and Edmunds story) maybe in flash back form if they can't fit it in as a main story.

Kate and Anthony disliked each other in the beginning because they reflect each other, like literally they mirror each other perfectly, and you can see that in their dance choreography, it's very symbolic (as Jonathan Bailey said in one of his interviews). They saw themselves in one another and they hated it, even though they were already in love but they didn't want to admit it. Since both of them have honor and a similar value which is their family, and because of their pride they didn't want to lose to each other. But at the end love won! Anthony fell in love with her the moment he saw her, because he has never come across someone like her, especially a woman like her, a very independent, brave and stubborn (just like him), and he told her that, " It's because I've never met anyone like you.. You've been like this from the moment we first met in those woods, obstinate, inflexible, unyielding to good plain common sense ", her riding a horse symbolizes her strong and free character, she doesn't listen to anyone (just like him once again). She basically triggered him and made him lose his mind over her, he's obsessed with her and we'll see that in s3 too.

I felt like many people didn't understand the finger scene. Kate previously had a concussion, so Anthony holds up 3 fingers to see if Kate can answer it correctly or not. And she does,he playfully changes it to 4 fingers.

Instead of her making her character stereotypically desperate for marriage, Love and traditions and blah blah, they gave her character a sense of power and self respect. Love is unexpected, alot if people say I will never love anyone and end up falling hard for someone but here at least its something that doesn't make me pull my hair out due to frustration.
It was brave of Kate to hold out against Anthony, especially during his bungled first proposal. We wouldn't have had the beautiful second one otherwise. He was much clearer in his own head about why he wished to marry her.
I liked the whole pall mall sequence but one underrated part was when siblings were arguing about who should choose it first. Edwina was saying, isn't it supposed to be a game? But Kate was enjoying, making her a better fit for Bridgerton family's overall temperament. Rest of the game only added to this and siblings liked her even more.
Ok but am I the only one who fell in love with Anthony this season? Last season he was my least favourite Bridgerton brother, now he's my favourite. I love how complex he is. He tries his best at what he thinks is the best, yet still manages to go about it the wrong way. The flashbacks did incredible job of making us understand him better. He's not this cold, at times aggressive, serious man for nothing. He watched his father die, had to face a lot of pressure literally the second his father died, he had to take care of the family while the mother mourned. I mean, the poor guy had such PTSD just from seeing a bee. Yes, he can be a controlling jerk. Yes, his mindset was not okay at the start of the season. But even then you could see how deep down, he's a good person. He just puts all this weight on his shoulders and honestly? The siblings don't seem to understand it. I get that he might be an asshole sometimes... lot of the times... but literally not a single member of the family has ever questioned how he's holding up? He even talks about keeping up with the financials and the upkeep and everything and he looks stressed. He's holed up in his office, taking care of all of the boring but important stuff the rest of his family doesn't even care about. What more, Daphne and his mother have this grand monologue of how he changed, how he stopped smiling, being happy, affectionate. Umm, am i the only one thinking why the hell they haven't maybe tried helping him then? Or why they haven't asked themselves what is wrong with him. They pretty much said "Yeah we noticed that after this traumatic experience you became a worse version of yourself." and expect him to... what? Change? After that shitty pep talk? And one last thing, at one point he tells Kate he believes all of his siblings hate him for the scandal. Meaning nobody ever comforted him about it. Nobody said "Hey, we know you're hurting, it's okay." Nobody made him understand that the scandal doesn't matter because he's their brother. Anyways, Anthony is a baybee and I got too carried away. Rant over.
Both Anthony and Kate needed each other because they gave all of themselves to their families, everything they did, whether right or wrong, they did for them. The final scene warmed my heart seeing them both so happy. Looking forward to seeing more of them in season 3. 💕💕
Well that is why he was so smitten with Kate. A loner like him, having no real parents and yet going out of her way to take care of her step mother and half sister. Just like Anthony, Kate also missed having a parent. The joy of being childish and tender everything was lost to her. She had grown up from a very young age, never really allowing herself any happiness other than that of her family. He saw a side of himself- that innocent part of him that was walled up deep inside. He knew she would do exactly what she says. No mere threats. He could see she was denying herself any morsel of happiness and that so aggravated him. He was familiar with the pain of being that person- the person who denies themself every joy. He knew the end of that road will lead to nothing but sadness and misery. He wanted to rescue her so. Imagine Anthony never going through any tragedy, or his overnight transformation. Would he have understood Kate? Benedict or Collin never would or could, nor any other man in that ton could. Kate would have been left alone had it not been for Anthony. Yes. Every one has someone who "gets" them.
Okay I can't tell you how much I love the fact that the first time at Aubrey Hall Kate chooses the mallet of death and holds on to it just infuriate Anthony and she does the same on purpose after marriage.

I scripted the Sharmas out and scripted a blonde girl in, who's going to be Anthony's fiancee so I'm still going to be like in Kate's position and that blinde girl will be like edwina. I scripted that she'll choose me as her maid of honor cause her parents are out of town. Then I scripted that when the parents of someone are out of town, the one who marries that person has to ask the maid of honor or the best man for their blessing (in that way it'll be even more like in the show). And one last thing, at one point he tells Kate he believes all of his siblings hate him for the scandal. Meaning nobody ever comforted him about it. Nobody said "Hey, we know you're hurting, it's okay." Nobody made him understand that the scandal doesn't matter because he's their brother.

Both Anthony and Kate needed each other because they gave all of themselves to their families, everything they did, whether right or wrong, they did for them. The final scene warmed my heart seeing them both so happy. Looking forward to seeing more of them in season 3. 💕💕
Well that is why he was so smitten with Kate. A loner like him, having no real parents and yet going out of her way to take care of her step mother and half sister. Just like Anthony, Kate also missed having a parent. The joy of being childish and tender everything was lost to her. She had grown up from a very young age, never really allowing herself any happiness other than that of her family. He saw a side of himself- that innocent part of him that was walled up deep inside. He knew she would do exactly what she says. No mere threats. He could see she was denying herself any morsel of happiness and that so aggravated him. He was familiar with the pain of being that person- the person who denies themself every joy. He knew the end of that road will lead to nothing but sadness and misery.
He wanted to rescue her so. Imagine Anthony never going through any tragedy, or his overnight transformation. Would he have understood Kate? Benedict or Collin never would or could, nor any other man in that ton could. Kate would have been left alone had it not been for Anthony.

I'm Simones brother mostly cause I'm his race. I scripted the Sharmas out and scripted a blonde girl in, who's going to be Anthony's fiancee so I'm still going to be like in Kate's position and that blinde girl will be like edwina. I scripted that she'll choose me as her maid of honor cause her parents are out of town. Then I scripted that when the parents of someone are out of town, the one who marries that person has to ask the maid of honor or the best man for their blessing (in that way it'll be even more like in the show).
