Whether the truth is spoken in love or in anger, it's still the truth. The emotion a person is experiencing while speaking is not a valid justification for rejecting the truth. But the truth spoken in love will be far more effective. Thank you for your podcast today! I really enjoyed it.
Great podcast guys. Andrew's cat was thoroughly entertaining me the whole time s/he was trying to get in through the window 😂 A year or so ago I visited a new church and opened up about some of the struggles I was having in my old one (there was blatant sin and favouritism going on), and was immediately accused of bitterness. I freaked out because this accuser described it as direct disobedience to God and I totally thought I was unforgiven, unsaved toast. Then, I learnt the proper Biblical definition of bitterness and I was freed. Thankyou for all your work.
