When it comes to a character's perspective, nearly every FNAF fan creation will be from the perspective from a security guard, urban explorer, or runaway child. We always see his or her reaction on the first night, but I wondered what would it be like from an animatronic's perspective? What would a "first night" alive for them look and feel like?

First Night As Freddy - Official Soundtrack
• First Night As Freddy ...
Nine years ago, while I was in my first year of digital design at university, the cult-phenomenon video game Five Nights at Freddy's was created.
I remember sitting and playing it with my peers in our class' game room. Lights completely off, the communal couch dragged unnecessarily close to the screen, and pillows at the ready to hide our faces at the jump scares.
It was new. It was different. It was terrifying. And riding off of each others' fears was the best way to be inducted into the world of FNAF.
I've always loved the dark and inherently spooky tones of the game. New sequels and iterations that have come out in the past few years have definitely leaned into a more cartoon-like and science fiction aesthetic.
Each to their own - this style wasn't exactly my favourite direction for the franchise to have taken.
Certain fans were able to capture that uncanny horror that we see in the original. Battington and Phsinom's work on their respective FNAF tapes spring to mind.
Another is "Jr's", developed by Ramenov, which has in my opinion the best aesthetics to any fan game, assisted by Darroc's utterly terrifying vintage animatronic models.
You can only imagine how thrilled I was to be able to get my hands on these stylized models, recreated by the talented DJ_DiscoHead. Inspiration started to quickly swirl, and with that I decided to knock out a little project over the next few days.
Not sure where I'll go with this. Now I've spent the hard yards setting up the scene it's a pretty straight forward approach now to just animate the models and come up with some cool scenarios.
More to come, folks.
2:45 "I'm not high this time I promise!" I'M DEAD BRO WHAT THE HELL💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
What drugs do you think the useless Jermey does
DAMN Mike scared the shit outta me at the end there! Guess that’s how it feels for Evan on a daily basis.
The sadness, confusion and frustration for Evan is really apparent here. The transitions also make it feel like Evan is fading in and out of reality. One minute he’s the innocent child he was before, excited for his birthday, but the next he’s a stumbling robot, remembering what he’s become.
And that voice calling to him, it’s got to be Charlie inside the Puppet.
Can't be because Charlie didn't die yet. None of them did. Even was first and chatlie was one that died immediately after so William could get even.
PSYCIC Friend Fredbear
@@bizzaroblake2519 I don’t know, while I agree that Evan died first in the timeline, this series seems to be following the "Charlie first" train. I mean, why else would Henry react so strongly to William’s suggestion of going to Freddy’s? There’s obviously pain there.
@zamzamhassan2985 maybe he sees the danger but not expecting it happening? Like don't want kids too close to the robots without gaurenteed safety
Just say c.c
4:03 okay that got me!
But omg this was well worth the wait. The cinematography of Arcade Alley was amazing. The constant and consistent transitions from Evan as himself then to Fred Bear was on point. The ceiling reflection was a nice touch too.
The way Fred Bear moves; unable to unlock the rope and holding his hands shows a scared soul of a child is in there.
This is such a fabulous series and it's one of the best fan animations to come out of this franchise. I hope Scott or Steel Wool gives you some sort of recognition as you absolutely deserve it.
Yeah i GOT jumpsceardd

I can tell this is gonna be an exciting episode by the premiere.

i got scared(?) a second because i tought this cideo was rated “for kids”
😂b,gl
The creaking and grinding of Fred Bear as he moves around, is so haunting and adds so much to the ambiance! Really great touch!
Can't wait to see what's going to happen next now that Michael has appeared.
Also props to the guy who decided to stay in the restaurant and not leave despite believing himself to be in imminent danger.
I think its gonna follow that scene from Fnaf 4 scenario.
Just like older Mike would inevitably do.
Imminent danger,Evan wouldn't hurt a fly,let alone a person,he's scared and confused,yes,but not dangerous
2:55 the arcades say skibidi 🚽
Err...highly doubt it was by his choice! The phone call implies he was threatened with jail/imprisonment for his earlier electronic negligence.
Love the way Evan is depicted. Its like he still has ghostly visions of what happened moments before he died, especially near the end (michael), reliving them with a sense of disbelief. His inner child is still there, but he's confused and still has to adapt to the new strength of his new form as was shown when he tried to open the gate.
It kinda heart breaking because if you think about it hes really just a kid. Hes simply scared and confused.
You really gotta feel sorry for Evan all he wanted was to hope that his birthday wouldn’t go wrong but thanks to Micheal ended up with the opposite effect. Even if Micheal still did feel terrible for what he did to his brother that still doesn’t seem to make Evan truly happy after what happened.
HENRY CAUSED THE BITE.. at least in this timeline
@@sanst.skeletonI thought Micheal an his friends caused the death didn’t they put his head in fredbear mouth?
@@dandradawson2882Henry caused the death of Evan this series. Different lore I guess?!
@dandradawson2882 no there was an episode where henry put evan in fredbears mouth. thats how the bite started
@@DumbBonnie oh ok I’m confused because they always use different names
1:38 That 'Time After Time' theme in the arcade literally gave me chills. Combined with the blurring between Evan's recent-past memories and his horrifying present...this episode is absolutely haunting in the most bittersweet of ways.
(and omg you have no idea how much this 80s PDX kid squealed internally on spotting that Polybius cabinet! Seriously, your set design is spot on for real-world Chuck-e's, Wunderland arcade, local diners like Shari's and Elmers and it's bringing back so many RL memories for me.)
I think Wunderland still has some older machines, as well
I'm speaking from Portland, Oregon as well
@@fredbearsecuritySadly they've been downsizing over the years. Ground Kontrol as well as Next Level in Hillsboro are still a trip however!

HELP 💀😨
It just scare me at the end
the mirrors on the ceiling were genus, seeing Evan's face as it copies his movements was well done
Theory time!
1-I think that the flashbacks are happening in real time while Evan is possessing the animatronic, and that he is even more confused than we are about what is happening, and that he still doesn't know that he died or doesn't remember how it happened.
2-Many things that he perceives as "normal" are actually memories or ghostly reflections of his human body, when in reality things are different with his animatronic body, like he is destroying things while exploring but he doesn't realize he's doing it, this explains why animatronics "act crazy or violent".
3-The death caused by the possessed animatronics is accidental because the ghost child perceives things differently (They confuse past with present) and they doesn´t control the strength of their animatronic body.
I really loved it, I don't know how you manage to improve yourself with each chapter, and I appreciate that you add subtitles to the whispers, thank you
this is really helpful, I got so confused while watching the video and I think now I'm starting to understand all that flashback things
@@idkthidwmfl_lizok OMG You are welcome (º///º)
Yeah but the way he died was an accident. The other 5 kids are gonna get 100% stabbed to death
@@Yayofangamer16 We still don't know, but remember that one of the initial theories was that the children were murdered by the security guard, and that's why they are trying to kill you, because you are a security guard.
Maybe while you are hiding, they are living the day of their death over and over again.
Of course this is theory and I could be wrong, we'll see.
Your a certified matpat
😂
Yet another amazing episode, great work! So we learn that Jeremy is the one that is the one there at night from episode 1 and 2 that saw Fredbear/Evan. Poor soul was only there to find the heirloom. I believe that the heirloom/Puppet was the one whispering during the present. (Also Nice Michael Jumpscare at the end.)
Edit: (Heirloom not Airloom.)
Heirloom just so you know
@@AnUnimportantNPCThank you.
Hmmm....given the way the events are presented - it has been hinted Charlie has already been killed. If so, then she has already inhabited the puppet. I wonder if that means in this series William lended the puppet to Henry so he could use it to guard Charlie?
I recently know about this series and i love it.
I really like than more being about horror, is a tragic story about Evan's life after the '83 bite while he reminds things from his last day. I really love how he can express a lot with just his movement, how confused and scared because he's inside an animatronic body without saying any word or cry.
I like Henry and William's protayal, Henry as somebody who's more into machines than in human interaction but still can care about children while Afton is an absent father who at least tries even if we know he's a monster.
Also i like how time is played in it, like sometimes present and past co-exist at the same time just like in the last part of this video.
And my god, the animatronics design is just beautiful for trying to be a realistic design inspired by the original chuck n cheese animatronics instead of forcing to be scary.
I love this series.
Such kind words my guy! Thank you so much, hope you love what's to come! 🙏
I so badly want this to be the canon story! This is just breathtakingly amazing and heartbreaking all at once! It really shows how tragic the story actually is and the true horror of it isn’t the scary moving animatronic, but the soul of a literal child being trapped inside.
I saw the jump scare coming and it still got me. Great work!
Same I didn't see it coming
I was in the middle of a thought when that happened. "Well, I guess it's better to know if you're going to die than to *jumpscare happens!*"
@@TheAnnoyingJerk I thought something was gonna come out of that door at the end
I think that the voice calling out to Evan could be Charlie/the Puppet. It would be so cool to see her in this! However, that might not be possible since there’s currently no JR’s Puppet model available. This is a shame because I loved her design in that game and it felt like a waste that the only time we see her in gameplay is when she jump-scares us. Still invested in what could be occurring in your series regardless though!
Its horrorfying but really sad at the same time. The fact that Evan became Golden Freddy, which he doesn't know yet, thinks he's still a harmless child who used to have a good time at fazbears, is just so sad. The way he looked up to the mirror where he could see what he really was. A monster... this scene gave me such a undescribable sad feeling because of which I almost cried. And the way g freddy fell down made me realise, how it must feel like to be in a new body with new weight. Everything about this was fascinating.
Do Cassidy and Evan share golden Freddy I assumed that after the bite of 83 evan inhabited Fred bear whos got the endoskeleton was then abandoned along with spring Bonnie getting all new animatronics for the family diner where Charlie and the other 5 children were murdered and stuffed into the new ones
@@sarahb3997 that also makes sence to me :D well I guess it's on Matpad or on the creator to answer that question
@@sarahb3997doesnt evan possess fredbear
Love the IRL Atari era Arcade cabinets. Great touch! As someone who's studied the late 70s and Early 80s in depth; you've done a great job making this look like 1983, Polybius is a nice touch too
That jumpscre got me so bad...
Even though it's a big, bulky animatronic, I can still see the nervous kid in his motions. This is some very lovely work!
This latest episode is fantastic. So saddening.
Love the way this episode went. Like how Even's perspective changes from when he's at his (unfortunate) last party he wished to experience to him being FredBear and trying to find help like the confused child he is. Also dang the jumpscare surprised me. Looks like we're gonna see how his older brother is shown here in this series.
Well done on this episode. I can't wait for the next episode.
The ceiling reflection was amazing! I love all the parallels you draw from past to present, makes it feel like Evan is stuck repeating events trying to figure what happened
Really good reflections! That’s such a difficult thing to get right and they look superb!
Likewise the frustration he seems to have with the red rope, that his motor functions are not as fine-tuned as he wishes. It makes me think that if circumstances were just right, Henry could help to adjust the animatronic so that he could function more similarly to how he did when he was alive, even if he wasn’t able to make a new full on robot body for him.
Really enjoying this series!
One thing that I like is the attention to detail. Like when Fredbear stumbled and lost his ear which gives us an explanation to his appearance in FNAF2
i love the take on Evan just adapting to this new environment that hes now in
Omg- I actually jumped at the end😭🔫 Jumpscare was on point✨
I wanna say in terms of set design for any fnaf media (including the actual games) your probably the top tier- this feels like a genuine party/arcade room that families would actually go to and have fond memories at! I love phone guy’s (I’m presuming that’s phone guy because of his voice) role in this narrative. Last thing I wanted to say was my theory on where the puppet has gone- I think after resurrecting Willam’s son, she’s somehow making her way to the original Freddy fazbear’s- either because the missing children’s incident has already happened or she believes something is gointto go down there- anyways great work, excited for the next episode
This whole series so far has been amazing! I love the transition shots between Evan and Freddy!
This is my favourite design for the animatronics. They simultaneously look more realistic and more frightening than the ones from the games. And, it cannot be stressed enough, this animation is brilliant.
Well done.
I really like the story and the time put in these videos. Must of been really hard. ❤

God, I can't believe I actually got jumped by Michael. that was EMBARRASSING...
anywho, that foxy mask is incredible and I'm so soso excited to see what happens next. Also love how Jeremy wasn't high "this time" lol

Thank you
Thank You, You Too!
I wish you the best of luck.
Take care
That jumpscare definitely got me. The story is coming together so well! I love that in Part 1, you could just feel the dread and suspense building up while Fredbear roamed the building looking for the remaining people. Now, you can clearly sympathize with Evan and you know not to be scared of Fredbear because, well- it's just a kid that's trying to figure things out. You fleshed out the emotions perfectly in each character (especially the line delivery of "I always come back" with Afton). Can't wait to see more. Keep up the awesome work!
Awesome work bro, The amount of work that went into this is phenomenal also that was the first time I've ever been jump scared in a while.
This man deserves way more credit. He spends months on just one of these episodes, and they never EVER disappoint. Mad props and respect towards you man!!!♥♥♥
I've always wondered what would've happened if one of the employees reported the animatronics moving I really can't wait to see how you dive into it here!
So happy to see this upload (I work at a ‘haunted’ attraction so this is good inspo for my work), keep up the good work and the obvious passion.
Also: love the little add on of both the princess quest and the Reece’s candy. It really grounds the story in the fnaf universe but also a US arcade
This series is absolutely incredible! Thank you so much for making this!!!!
Stellar visual story telling with some of the best camera work, I love every second of it!
Michael scared me! I also loved how in the beginning, there were flashes between Evan and Fredbear. I thought that was really well done
2:22 i have no words the mirror dimension like evan as freddy looking back how he was as a child and as a child sees what he is to become like anakin and darth vader so sad
OMG, I LOVE IT!
Absolutely loving these so far, you always somehow improve with each one so much. I love when people do something different with fnaf and it always ends up being a lot more interesting, michael scared me at the end Can't wait for the next one!!
That was so good! I’m always impressed by how good this series is, keep up the good work!😁
So cool how all the arcade cabinets are references of some sort.
Oh I love the back and forth from Past to Present done thruout the serirs so far since it really makes amazing visuals such as him looking at the ceiling in this one.
Loved the references to other FNAF projects springled about in the Arcade Room such as some of the machines are the ones found in other games meawnhile some reference other projects such Jr and Popgoes.
Also loved how some of the damage we Find Freadbear/Golden Freddy in is demonstraded like when the ear fell out due to the collision they suffered.
Lasty the call had me laughing as Afton was asking if the guy was High again cause he said he saw Fredbear walking which logicaly shouldn't be possible if the animatronic was in show mode, also the Jump scare at the end actualy slighly got me to jump a little so good one.
Keep up the good work!
cant wait! ive been checking every day for a new episode and im glad its finally here!

4:01 Bro not gonna lie it caught me off guard and almost punched the monitor. Also, nice job, Jake! Keep up the good work man!
Wait...
Last episode, Henry caused the Bite of '83, didn't he? Unless...
Nah he didn’t. Lots of people were thrown off by the end scene. That scene took place after the actual bite caused by Mike and his friends. But it showed how Henry felt guilty because it was his creation that killed him. Specifically the design change that he did without permission.
@@zamzamhassan2985
Yeah, I was gonna say that, but I didn't know how to word it properly : /
This was such an amazing episode. You really got me with that jumpscare at the end, 😂 and i really love the homage to Andiematronic's "Mechanism" in the arcade - showcasing another stunning fnaf creator's work (something so detailed and passionate) while doing the same in this episode was the cherry on top for me. I absolutely love this series and all of the effort that's been put into it clearly shows. Absolutely stellar job, I can't wait to see how this series continues to evolve. :)
I didn't even realize how obvious it was that Evan here was modelled to look very similar to Gregory from SB. This is a great episode!
These videos should be getting millions of views and they're getting under 100k. The animation is top notch not to mention it's made by someone who actually knows the lore and can read in between the lines about what might've happened. (Also Princess Quest from Security Breach is one of the arcade games in the room so there's that)
You'll have to excuse me for just a second

Bloody brilliant, clap it up alright 👏
This is AMAZING. It blows my mind how you can create something so interesting and horrifying, great job truly. Also the kid with the foxy mask got me! Haha
If anybody caught it, the music playing during the first moment of the arcade is "Time after Time", very fitting, I love it.
The man, the myth, the mysterious, the mystical, Micheal.
Ok jake.. you got me at the end.. made me freaking jumped. Also loved the popgoes reference. Kane would be proud
Incredible work mate! Us viewers expected something great from this masterpiece of a series, and got exactly what we expected!

Maybe the only problem I see is that it seems like a lot of time has passed, since the cupcakes have flies... Which confuses me a little when I see the balloons...Why are they still swollen? Or are they plastic balloons?... I don't know, but it's a minor detail xd
I'd have to look at the balloons, but if mylar was a thing in the early 80s, mylar balloons don't start losing air until at least four or five days I think? Would that be enough time for the flies to come?
@@beckyweiss6072 if there are flies in the building (and there are, this is a pizza joint) they'll start buzzing around unattended food in minutes. I think they are meant more to show that the place was emptied very suddenly and no one has come back to deal with the cupcakes, even though they were just left out. That would especially make sense if it is a crime scene, like the phone call said. No one would be allowed in to put them away until the cops were 100% done with the place.
Oh you biscuit eater! I dropped my phone! 😂 I thought I was used to it by now but qell done wirh the setup!!! I need this to be a movie asap! Lol
