A bit unfair. If this sort of thing happened in real life, it would be utterly horrifying. The fact Jeremey is still standing and vaguely thinking without the terror overtaking him is a testament to his courage.
i mean, i would've booked it to the desired location, possibly grabbing a weapon before either booking it out of the place or getting back to the office to ask for an evacuation. play it like a payday 2 mission on max difficulty. Although the very human sobs of a giant bear robot would strike fear into anyone.
This was an intense episode. Poor Michael is mentally and physically abused. And Evan weeping under the table was heartbreaking. But damn the animation is stellar. Jeremy’s face shows just how freaked out he is then to the way Evan’s soul is jerkily moving like Fredbear shows how trapped he is. And we finally get a glimpse of the puppet! This was worth the wait and I'm stoked for the final two episodes!
I could tell he was abused when Afton found him tormenting poor Evan. Just the way his body language changed said it all. He torments his little brother to regain some semblance of power that his father loves to rip away from him. He didn't know that Fredbear's jaw had an overloaded hydraulic. He probably thought it would be fun to see his little brother get his head stuck in the machine and that he'd only suffer some minor injuries (cuts, scrapes, bruises)

This actually gives a really good explanation as to the existence of the Puppet itself. It always seemed kind of out of place in the games, and never really seemed to have a usage. But I really like the idea for the Puppet here because it is actually a puppet. It isn't an animatronic and it isn't even meant for a Freddy's/Fredbear's location. It's a Afton family heirloom that likely was the cause for William wanting to entertain people with giant automated puppets after using this one for small shows to entertain his family or peers, now being passed on to the next (worthy) Afton in line so they can hopefully get that same spark and carry on the family business. I've never seen the Puppet interpreted like that before, but I loved it just as much as I love this entire series! Keep up the good work!
You took something with wasted potential and are polishing it to be the gem trapped within. It's clear how much you loved the game lore and fandom. Everything about this incredible! The animation and the voice acting and writing is stellar! It probably won't get the attention that more juvenile projects get sadly but, you've got a real vision that deserves recognition!!
There’s way too much to say about the epic work you’ve done here, which other people are already talking about, so here’s my personal favorite piece! : Loving William’s facial expressions here. The new models took a moment to get used to, but the connections between the emotions and facial movements when William speaks were particularly fantastic- gave such a real feel from his lines!! It’s so evident how much hard work went into this, and it has paid off!
This looks so good! The facial expressions, the lighting in the pizzeria, it’s excellent! Love the parallels with William berating Michael for being a bully who torments kids when that’s kind of William’s whole thing. And the news articles indicating that William was a TV Host and actor prior to starting up Freddy’s is a nice little piece of lore too! I imagine that the ventriloquist puppet was part of his acting or how he first got interested in acting, but we’ll have to see.
Hey man just wanted to say thank you for the hard work and an amazing series, I was always disappointed that no one ever explored the horror of being a child stuck in a animatronic so when I saw your channel it became an immediate favorite. The best fnaf fan series so far and I can’t wait to see what you do with it
10:58 the way my jaw hit the floor, oh my god how much of a sick twisted individual is William, the very murderer blaming Michael for Charlie's death (which isn't even confirmed yet, she's just "missing!") To everyone working in this project, I give you a standing ovation and all of my love, you have clearly poured so much passion and thought into these episodes and giving the FNAF fandom a true feast of delicacies ♡

Evan taking way too long to get the picture Jeremy can't hear him or is too scared of how he looks now. But another amazing update to a beautiful series! Afton's voice acting and expressions are SO good
I mean, I feel like that's a pretty realistic interpretation. Evan's just a kid, a kid in a very bizzaro nightmare. I can imagine myself reacting that 'stupidly' when I was younger. Plus I mean, I don't think Evan can really 'see' himself in his true form, or perhaps he's just in an extreme denial. He's certainly sad about /something/ at the start of the video, right? I imagine it'd be pretty damn isolating if everyone just saw you as the monster who killed you, rather than /you/.
11:29 The way William said that...he definitely feels bad for his Evan for killing Charlie in this one. It's so heartbreaking that he wasn't a psychopath UNTIL he lost the last of his humanity
I am really shocked to see how this is one of the few pieces of fan fnaf media that gets Afton’s character quite well, William is not a good father nor person, he’s literally the definition of evil, and only plays up the act of loving his children, his friend, and his business. You did really well :-)
This was fantastic, I really hope a series two eventually ends up in production set around the first Freddy's 1985 location, with the inclusion of Williams first "actions". Great work to everyone involved!
TWO REFERENCES IN SITTING, HOW CAN WE HANDLE IT- Fr though I got SO excited seeing this pop up in my time line! It’s so interesting seeing the reasons behind why Micheal torments Evan so much, far beyond him just being a dick head teen. And while I know William is an absolutely terrible dad, I like seeing there’s a strange sense of…care. I have a feeling it’s more from a sense of pride and self preservation but still, I enjoyed seeing him be gentle to Micheal for just a few moments The animation was absolutely stellar as always! Loved the facial expressions, only thing is that I think they move around too much, which can make the characters feel uncanny sometimes (less so on Jeremy, I think it fits wonderfully for him considering how panicked he is). Other than that absolutely wonderful addition and I’m so excited to see the final two entries!!!
The most critique I'd say in the most respectful manner is the body movement is a bit- odd. But I can't imagine how difficult it is to animate so I can only comprehend how tricky it is! Nonetheless, there's credit where it's due. The lighting, the faces, the detail even in sweat is absolutely stunning. Even the shots are above and beyond cinematically. You seriously are so talented, and always come back with better improvement. Please keep up the good work! You're doing an incredible job!
Alright please nobody come for me, I’ve never played FNAF, my anxiety wouldn’t be able to handle the jumps. But, with that being said, I have (as much as one can in this situation) dived into the storyline & lore of the game itself. The creativity of the backstory alone is fantastic & that’s what got me hooked! I absolutely love it! The quality of these are amazing! Honestly this person should be extremely proud of all the hard work they’ve put in. Putting out something of this quality can’t be easy👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I can't play the games either but you can watch the playthroughs. Honestly though, you'd be better off watching MatPat's FNAF lore playlist if you really want to know more. He's been breaking this story down for over a decade.
ADHFJF THE "beloved tv host bids fond farewell" MATPAT EASTER EGG!! So cool to see so many references throughout this! If it wasn't my fav fnaf series before this ep, it definitely is now ❤️
The animation has improved so much! The people look so realistic now. The mouth movements and facial expressions are on point. Even the fur details on the animatronics. Do feel the movement of the animatronic is not the same as it was before but couldn’t tell from this episode. The movement of the animatronic was perfect in all the other episodes. Keep it up! Can’t wait for the next episodes ❤
*SPOILERS, WATCH OUT* holy SHIT! This episode was BY FAR the greatest one of em all, the animation, the quality of the models, the skin, the fur, the lighting, everything about this is incredible. Also the references are just.. *chef's kiss*. Loved the lines "The joy of creation", and "That is just a theory", really looking forward to the next episodes. Also, is the supposed "afton heirloom" the puppet? And if William already knows the puppet's possessed by Charlie, then that means he gave a possessed puppet to his son.. Wow, that's brutal.
This is great, man. I love this series. Fredbear/Evan frantically tries to get the attention of Jeremy only for Jeremy to react in fear for his appearance. The conversation between Michael and William is brutal.
I like how the events are shown to us. I thought it would be best to show them in chronoronical order, but this way it enhaces dráma so much it's almost like a real movie. Amazing animation too! I love this❤
I'm really impressed with the visual interpretation of Michael and William. especially Michael, he looks exactly how I'd pictured him... also the fact that he even looks a bit like his dad? There's so much to say for this- it's amazing! (Also this version of broken/withered fredbear looks SOOO GOOD the attention to detail goes crazy)
I liked it so much that even on their faces you could literally see every feeling, when William pushed Michael against the glass, you could clearly see the fear and also the sadness, and you could literally see William's anger and rage, I would like to see more of this.
I absolutely love the direction of the series, this episode was a really hit out of the park with the models, voice acting & animations. The confrontation with William & Michael felt very organic, although I do have to admit some of the word choices felt like painfully hamfisted references, but that aside, it was really refreshing to see a take on their relationship in a way that really does feel like a father/son relation. The introduction to why Michael might resent his father is really interesting and spices things up. Interested to see your interpretation of what happened to Charlie & to see where else this series goes!
11:52 The hypocrisy and gaslighting.. "Charlie is dead, BECAUSE OF YOU!!" coming from the Man who killed, brutally murdered her during that tike of the day/night

Animation is combat, and during the production of this episode, Jake lost _every battle._ Literally _everything_ that could go wrong went wrong, and also some stuff that _can't_ go wrong somehow managed to go wrong as well. The Unreal Engine kicked his ass over and over again, but somehow, regardless, he won the war. _Nobody_ is ready for how next-level this series is about to get.
Dear @UnrealEngine, I love you so very dearly but please reflect upon yourself and fix your fucking Lumen GI reflections. They nearly killed me. Much love. 🧡
This is amazing. The graphics were a huge upgrade, and the characters were made more into how we imagine them. It’s hard to tell that this is animated. 10/10
bro some of the transitions in this ep are phenomenal and the facial animation and body language of the characters is so well done you really convey emotion well in this series
This was such a beautiful execution of story telling of Evan being in the limbo state of the crossing over to the spiritual world and passing and Jeremy not understanding and the communication it’s just 20/20 I can’t wait for more story telling from Jake he never disappoint I would wait forever for more videos from this guy spellbinding Jake just Spellbinding 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
The writing... sheesh. Truly brilliant. What caught me off guard is your depiction of William, a broken yet aspiring man. You somehow managed to make him so... turbulent? That is exactly what I've thought of him since I first heard his story. He is a man who, above all, cares about his family but in his own way. He chose to start a business that thrived instead of going to his family every day. Even though it is a noble cause, William didn't quite have the mentality to handle everything that was going on at once. Coupled with his degrading mentality and envy of Henry and his family, he just let everything go. When he first killed Charlie, I think that he felt something. Something that was liberating. That's why he kept killing. If you think about it from his perspective, as a man who had nowhere else to go, his home was full of spoiled brats who, even though they were loved, chose to torment each other and even William himself. As a consequence, he needed a refuge. A refuge that was murderous. Making killing machines, including the one that took the life of his own daughter. I regard this depiction as brilliant given the fact that William tried so hard to be complacent and logical about everything with Michael but gave in the moment that Michael shot at his ego. It just shows what a selfish man Afton can be. Sure, he can try to hide it, but he can't *control* it. One time or another, he will say something he shouldn't and try to back up or even enforce it in some way. He really is a character that is worth delving into, because he is what a character should be: interesting. It could just be morbid curiosity, but I've always found fascinating viewing the world from different perspectives; although some of them are quite troubling, it just finds more and more your own perspective of your own world. I've rediscovered your content because of your newest video, the 10th year FNAF anniversary. I couldn't be more surprised to see that you still continued the series, given that I hadn't been recommended any of your videos. Maybe because TH-cam is TH-cam, if you get me. Anyway, great job illustrating this series; it has so much potential, both in terms of Scott and your adaptations. Take your time to make new episodes; Rome wasn't built in one day, after all.
I really love this series too much! the style of how you narrate something that we all know how it ends and yet we are so intrigued to know even more about this story
Wow, just wow. I am both excited that there are 2 more episodes and sad there are only 2 more episodes. This has been one of the best if not the best series I have seen so far. The story, VO, animation everything. You are so talented. Keep up the amazing work. I love your cinematography skills being used here too. So so good. Excited for the next ones!

Too bad it isn’t an Afton who takes it… it’s an Emily. 😏
@@jakeryansouthgateI can see that In the latest teaser image, we see the that the box says “Afton Family Circus”. Just putting that out there…

The fact that you managed to make the argument between those two so realistic and entertaining, good job
DAAAAMN, bro the facial rigging, especially Willy's, is SO GOOD, props! Sorta reminds me how Supermassive does theirs (Until Dawn, The Quarry etc)
Haha, the dream would be to make a game in that style, love the blend of game play, player choice, and cinema! 🎬
14:48 Confirmed charlie is puppet (actived sub)
12:13 that’s just a theory Michael, a game theory
Did you happen to notice the huge picture of MatPat in the background article when Afton was talking to Michael?....
There’s way too much to say about the epic work you’ve done here, which other people are already talking about, so here’s my personal favorite piece! :
Loving William’s facial expressions here. The new models took a moment to get used to, but the connections between the emotions and facial movements when William speaks were particularly fantastic- gave such a real feel from his lines!! It’s so evident how much hard work went into this, and it has paid off!
This is what the FNAF movie should've been, this series is fantastic...better than anything that's ever been officially produced. Can't wait for more!
Where does it say that William Afton was a actor and TV host? I wanna see for myself
@@Dav458 Right around 4:11, there’s a news article on the left that talks about him as a TV Host retiring.
Idk about that, looks more like a Matpat reference
Hey man just wanted to say thank you for the hard work and an amazing series, I was always disappointed that no one ever explored the horror of being a child stuck in a animatronic so when I saw your channel it became an immediate favorite.
You're just realizing now that the serial child murderer is sick and twisted?... FNAF lore has been out for a decade..

We'll miss you, Matpat!
I think my heart shattered along with that mirror. Poor Michael.
You know it’s good when you wanna reach through the phone.
9:11 The Joy at Creation
11:29
The way William said that...he definitely feels bad for his Evan for killing Charlie in this one.
You did really well :-)
VA are awesome!! William is outstanding
And I so love backgrounds and props
Using the environment as transitions will never cease to be awesome
This was fantastic, I really hope a series two eventually ends up in production set around the first Freddy's 1985 location, with the inclusion of Williams first "actions". Great work to everyone involved!
This looks just like real life and the “that’s just a theory “was perfect
Did you happen to notice the huge picture of MatPat in the background article when Afton was talking to Michael?....
You could here burntrap in Aftons voice. The cast is amazing and so is the animation! I love this show!
Is that the reason why he came back?
@@Lemuel928 Maybe it is.
TWO REFERENCES IN SITTING, HOW CAN WE HANDLE IT-
Fr though I got SO excited seeing this pop up in my time line! It’s so interesting seeing the reasons behind why Micheal torments Evan so much, far beyond him just being a dick head teen. And while I know William is an absolutely terrible dad, I like seeing there’s a strange sense of…care. I have a feeling it’s more from a sense of pride and self preservation but still, I enjoyed seeing him be gentle to Micheal for just a few moments
The animation was absolutely stellar as always!
Nobody cares 😊

I love he referenced Matpat by saying that's just a theory
After 4 months, a true masterpiece returns.
*SPOILERS, WATCH OUT*
holy SHIT!
Now his son can have his dead friend back! What a generous gift, I'm sure nothing bad could possibly come of it.
The QUALITY of this is insane! I’m so happy this amazing series is still going strong
This is great, man. I love this series. Fredbear/Evan frantically tries to get the attention of Jeremy only for Jeremy to react in fear for his appearance. The conversation between Michael and William is brutal.
"I don't think you've quite grasped how quickly all of this can burn to the ground" is crazy foreshadowing
👀
12:15 "That is just a theory, Michael." "AAAA GAAAAAAAAAAAAME THEEEORRRYY!!!!! THANKS FOR WATCHING!!!"
I honestly half expected William to go “A GAAAAME THEORY!” 🤣
Imagine a blooper reel of that scene and he just busts that out!
I like how the events are shown to us. I thought it would be best to show them in chronoronical order, but this way it enhaces dráma so much it's almost like a real movie. Amazing animation too! I love this❤
If the FNAF Movie was written by you, it would be perfect. Amazing animation!
15 MINUTES??? What a treat bro, and the animation and models are insanely good throughout the whole thing
6:51 Ah, gotta love the Hypocritically words here when you know what he does later.
12:47 Just a normal pile of presents, just that, nothing more, nothing else
I liked it so much that even on their faces you could literally see every feeling, when William pushed Michael against the glass, you could clearly see the fear and also the sadness, and you could literally see William's anger and rage, I would like to see more of this.
You can tell the faces were MoCap'd
The expressions were absolutely amazing!!
Can I comment to say how much I really loved that you put much effort of the 80s environment? It really feels like I'm in the 80s era. :3
"Charlie is dead, BECAUSE OF YOU!!"
coming from the Man who killed, brutally murdered her during that tike of the day/night
I love the way the animation and animatronics look. It’s so scary and looks like the stuff I would try to avoid at a chucky cheese. Love it man.
