    I have only had this phone for 4 days, and I was able to get it at the $499 price. So far I am impressed by the very quick charging, the remarkable battery life, and the quickness of browsing on the phone. There is no lag at all. The phone is very responsive, and the fingerprint recognition is also very quick. The LCD screen is actually quite bright and has not been a problem. I wish it had dual speakers, but the single speaker can get quite loud, which should help on speakerphone calls. The macro photo feature works well and lets you get within 1.5 inch. I have not been able to cast the screen to my relatively new Samsung TV. Apparently the phone does not support Miracast and screen casting only works properly with Google's Chromecast, either built into the TV or through a separate device. If I keep the phone, I will buy a Chromecast with Google TV device, which has gotten good reviews indicating many users prefer it to Roku, Amazon Firestick, etc.

      If you're still considering, the Chromecast with Google TV is a great device. I would recommend.

      Have you tried their new "Ready For" feature? It's pretty cool. I didn't know what it was and turned it on and my phone was on my TV. With some updates it can be really good. I've enjoyed having this phone.

    I just bought one from Best Buy unlocked last week 7/12/22 for $299! I can live with the single mono speaker, I can use Bluetooth headphones if I am really going to spend time on my phone.I think even the best phone speakers suck in comparison to headphones. Battery is 5000 mah, 8gb ram, 256 gb storage, great phone👍

    I had last generations Motorola edge and here's where I gotta always keep my expectations in check because when you think the follow up is going to be slightly better and which in some areas it is but what mattered to me Generation 2 moto edge to me wasn't much of an upgrade, There was a lot of trade offs for the same price as the charge for generation one for example you had a glass back they replaced it with plastic I like the build quality of generation 1 edge better than Generation . You had a amoled display And then drop it down to LCD Mind you still charging the same price now no headphone Jack and no micro SD card support for expandable S for expandable storage charging the same price the same price as last generations, The dual stereo speakers on generation one edge was really excellent it's really excellent now you've reduced it down to 1 speaker, charging the same price as you did generation 1. battery life and processing chip to me was fine on generation one I had no problems at all with the 90 Hz display. I definitely agree with you $499 should have been the only price point Motorola should have charged for this device.

    Very informative video where I can compare the phone I just ordered which is a Motorola Edge 2021 also, refurbished, since the prices are outrageous. Mine has the sim card slot and Gyro Sensor. I don't really know that much about smartphones and I really don't like them very much though I have a ZTE Avid 579 (cheapy) that I got in Oct 2021 but this is slower than molasses and no 5G so it was time for me to upgrade. That song would sound horrible on any device LOL.

    I got this a few months ago before the Edge+ 2022 released for around $300 and I still keep it as a backup since I found a Edge+ 2022 with 512Gigs of storage for around $500 only because someone returned it to Amazon because they did not like it and I do like the Edge+ but the Edge 2021 is a good backup phone.

    I purchased two of these, a well functioning cell phone, great battery life, fingerprint recognition works well. The phone is quick, responsive, works with Bluetooth speakers, storage capacity 256 GB. The cameras work for our needs, 6.00 GB Ram, Display 2460x1080, a rating 4½ Stars out of 5 given for one speaker with no Wi-Fi charging available for this model.

    Not the phones fault, but after trying to use the one I just got, it hurts my hand. It's too tall for me because I got some minor arthritis in my primary hand. Also, the price went back down recently.

    • @Bawkr

      Technically these things are not phones anymore. These can play PC 2013 to 2019 games, PS2, GC, Wii, Switch and anything under that quite well. They're a pocket power house. These things are about 100 now and well worth it for the bigger memory model. A lot can be done with a portable computer + filming device which is what these should be considered as. If you just need a phone, go and get one for $15, there's plenty of em.

    Hello big moto fan here , thanks for the review of the edge it sounds like a good midrange phone just to bad it's missing some features but I find moto does decent and solid phones , I currently have the edge plus 5g in Canada and it's an amazing phone , I was wondering if you'd be able to do a comparison review between the moto edge , edge pro 2021 im looking for a secondary phone and I can't seem to decide on which one to get , also since the new phones come with Android 11 I'm guessing they will go up to Android 13 correct ? Thanks

      @@SICERIKTECH thank you. If it's not too much of a hassle,, would you be able to give me the exact display width of s21 fe and moto edge 21. I am unable to figure that out due to the two phones have different aspect ratio and specs are not reliable due to bezel width. Also how do the battery lifetimes compare?

    • @SICERIKTECH
      @SICERIKTECH  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@petiteface I'm sure of exact dimensions, bezels on Moto are way bigger, Moto definitely has better battery life.

    It's a beautiful phone, but I noticed you kept wiping it down, which suggests it's a fingerprint magnet.
    Motorola has a bad habit of dumbing down their phones; I chose to buy the year older moto power g because the 2021 had less features and lesser build quality. But I got a great deal and it does all I need.

    Huge hardware difference in the same device sold in India and the USA. We get LED display, proper cameras (no gimmickry of 2MP). Battery is a downgrade though, with 4000mah here.
