Exploring Hilbre islands at low tide a relaxing chilled walk around the islands

  • A walk to Hilbre island at low tide, walking to little eye and middle eye the two smaller islands then a relaxing chilled explore around the islands and a trip to the sea.
The islands can be reached at low tide but are completely cut off from land for 5 hours out of every 12,
You have to walk to them at low tide to avoid being stranded on the islands but looking at tide times it's easy to plan your walk over to them if you give yourself a few hours to do it.
    Thanks for watching.
Shout out to Mark's gone walking

What a great spot - you could be a 100 miles from anywhere. That clip of the picket fence and the wooden buildings could be one of the islands off Scotland. Many thanks for the shoutout; it’s really appreciated. You’re right to Keep to your own style and follow your own nose 👍 enjoy whatever you do; it’s comes across in your vids how much you enjoy the outdoors. ATB Mark.

It's really neat that you can walk over to the island when the tide is low. Love those natural arches. I am glad you are staying true to your style. It's important to find something that feel comfortable for you. Some people prefer these videos a lot more. Especially appeals to people who don't speak English but want to see your country. That's the same when I watch non-English videos. Less talking is better. But for English, I know I like getting to know the person in the video - so there's always that.

always enjoy your videos as you are fairly local to us and we know most of the places you go to, wife and I are in Warrington.
we did your Hale walk in the winter, pex hill including the surrounding field paths, wepre and ewlow castle, we did hilbre island last autumn from thurstaston country park back along the beach at dark with a full moon. we go to Formby regularly for 10 to 12 mile walks, our favourite area is close to the firing range as it's a lot quieter. we were there yesterday (holiday Monday) and made your pea soup on the beach only we are vegetarian so no ham.
as regards feed back your style is fine, as long as you explain where you are and what you are seeing and doing it's good. even though we are vegetarian I still like to watch camp style cooking as I can sometimes adapt the recipes.
as for requests, from our point of view just more of the same really , exploring places locally that we can do our selves and gear reviews and wild camps. Rob.

Been here a few times years ago, about 10 years ago we weren't watching the tide when playing on little eye and by the time we noticed it was knee deep getting off, I took of sprinting as fast as my little legs could take me the mile back in fear of the water surrounding me lol, left my mum brother and his friend behind

@@kenhurdartist475 think you have about 6 hours , if you Google hilbre island tides there's a website that has the tide times to the islands, you can see it in advance too , think it's a 2 mile walk to the main island too, you have to walk to the small island then over the middle one then onto the main island , that's the safest route 👍

I wouldn't want to be stranded for 5 hours on the tiny island!!!
