Your description of meeting holy people is spot on. I converted 30 years ago as a young person and I still feel that "discomfort" around holy people. I feel like all my sins are showing or at least rising into my mind. It is a good thing, it can help us to humble ourselves. The holy people themselves don't seem to notice, they see everyone through a filter of love. God bless you!
@@JosephSaad13 You just brought me back here and reminded me of this, which many knows how it starts but don’t know the rest: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” ~John 3:16-21
This is wonderful, my first video of watching you two - I feel like I'm listening to my own Orthodox friends (as a convert). It's a nice casual change of scene compared to a lot of the more formal and fluttery Orthodox material on TH-cam (not that there's anything wrong with that).
@@TheGerogero the Armenian church are in open apostacy from the rest of the church for over 1500 years and have zero intention of reconciling their errors. So they aren't orthodox at all. Sorry.

Maybe they do notice but are too busy praying for mercy for their own sins to judge you for yours when that might not be the most effective remedy
'Holy' read 'social misfits' who only turn to that fantasy god because real people wont have them.
to the pure all things are pure, they do not know yours sins or thoughts but holiness is light to the sinners spirit
