It mates up to the psi plate. It had grooves in it to hold it.
WOW,awesome stock setup.. Hot spots are ok as long as they are all around the plates and not just on one area of the steel...I`m impressed with the condition.WTG...
The 2016 and up Ninja H2 uses the same style clutch with 3 springs. So far it's held up to 350whp with just springs.

I've had really good experience with my stock zx14r clutch, i have at least 80 passes on it with no warping and i hot lap a lot, but im considering this bike for a dedicated drag bike

Zx10 especially with the long first gear have to have shims and decent springs mines look great at the expense of my hand hurting in stop and gon traffic
Interesting Chris, do you think these oem clutches from the 2020 would compare to aftermarket ones like Trac King or similar in regards to performance and quality?
We use OEM plates in everything we run.
Did you put 125 thousandths on each spring? I'm guessing you put them on top of the spring.

what the heck was that shaft under clutch cover? you knw the loose one that kinda just hangin there? oil pmp drive? alot of differences between older eng and this one. Cant wait to tear into one

Doesn't that clutch have a lock up. Brock talked about it in one of his videos. I thought the problem with the lock-up clutch was your not able to slip it?

Then entire exercise was to put some shims behind the springs, correct? You didn't show the shims or their installation. That makes no sense to me. Did I miss something?
Yes i installed the shims behind the springs. That increased spring psi.
Put my 270lb clutch-slippin' ass on that bike for a real clutch test. Send those results straight to Japan! Haha, great video. Thanks.

Be careful with the impact when putting screws back IN. They can strip! BAD. Use a torque wrench.

I screenshot it the first picture of the clutch plates because I wanted to make sure I didn’t do it wrong If you check the beginning of the video and at the end of the video you put the very last clutch plate on wrong
The very last clutch plate is not supposed to line up with all the other ones
