Hello. There's no reason why I have chosen to visit Hazel O vs Jada. My goal with creating content is to share multiple stylist and salons in order to provide you, the viewer, with multiple perspectives on hair and salon experiences. I still visit Jada and she still colors and cuts my hair. Both cuts are very specific and designed for natural hair. You're in VERY good hands with Jada. Oh, and please know that if I share a stylist on my channel, I would go to them. Think of this as "Shauniece's Recommendations". I value that you trust me and if I'm not feeling a stylist or salon, I would never share on my channel. I want you to have great hair experiences as well.

I’ve lived in the DMV for Twenty years and up until now have not found a stylists that I felt like I could trust, until I came across your videos. Most videos feature stylists from all over the USA instead of in my backyard. I am so excited to get my hair cut by Jada and will be forever grateful that your channel for lead me to her salon. I’m about to get a haircut and the stylist will cut my hair in its natural, product-free state and then style after the cut. Are there any advantages/disadvantages to this technique?
Hello. Great question. It sounds like you're getting a curly cut, which is perfect especially if you primarily wear your curls in their curly natural state. If you primarily wear your hair, smooth or straight, a curly cut may not be idea because your ends will not be cut to precision.

Ugh! Why come on someone's page w that energy? Like, why post that?🙄 I've had natural hair my entire life and have had so many bad cuts. It's important to tell someone what you want in detail. ESP when you're a wash n go girl.
I always prefer to over explain and use pictures rather than under explain and assume a stylist knows and end up with a bad cut or not liking me hair (we all know this happens frequently). And before I visit a salon I have a well established relationship with the stylist and communicate that I am filming content for a TH-cam audience and that may require me touching products or touring the salon. When I film, I like to consider the majority audience and the types of questions I receive from viewers. Its not all about me. Thanks for watching.
