Fun content!!!! I have not seen those bags on a crf 300 before. Did you have to fit a rack? What size are the bags? Did you do a bike set up video that I can not find on your channel??? Thanks from Canada
Thank you for sharing. I live in California and my friend, who I travelled to South America on a moto trip, is an Aussie . So I’m dying to visit. All the overlanding videos I see of people camping out in the bush all have roof top tents and or cot/ tents. Are you worried about critters at night?
Sorry if I missed it on a different video but which pannier rack and panniers are you using? Have you had any problems or issues with the racks or panniers? I am currently using the Tusk Excursion pack and I would like something a little bigger. Thank!
@@inrptn I've known people who have done so with mixed results. Most traded in for either a 250L or a bike with spoked wheels. The CBX500 isn't really a "long haul" off road bike with it's cast wheels.
Looks like a great ride on the CRF300- well done.
thanks
Made me miss my 250 rally. Plush little ride it was.
The 300s add some very welcome grunt and less weight. No downsides on the new bikes aside from scarcity

only need to have a rooftop in northern australia due to crocs, any where else is fine in a tent

they are outback motorteck, only real downside is the right hand side sits way off the bike and when you put a bag on it its too far out in the wind
These roads look like barely any challenge for the 300 Rally. I'd probably take a CB500X for this.
CB500X doesn't have the tyres or suspension for those roads
@@Dan4096 it can do these roads just fine
