I sincerely hope that you'll make it out of this town alive. Must be terrifying to literally watch crimes happening right outside the window. I hope your next place will be the kind of a "forever home" and you can feel more safe there. Thank you for filming, although you had such a rough time and take care!
That's the bleach powder I use. I manage to get a really light lift with only 10 vol developer and I've never had any problems with it. I use a 1:2 ratio and I put a shower cap misted with water over it once it's applied. There's obviously no way to bleach hair with NO damage at all, but I find I get the least damage possible from this. I do see a lot of people day they dislike this bleach powder, though, so I think it's just coming down to preference.
I was in the same situation several years ago in my hometown. Was living with my mom and having the house broken into more than once and cops barely helped. Now I've moved out and live with my fiancee and my mom finally moved out, so we're living in way better situation. Please stay safe out there ❤ I believe you'll make it out alive.
I hope you got thru the storm safely. We had hail size of golf balls and a few power outages. I did however see a double rainbow right after and some cool clouds ❤
I used this the last time I went platinum and actually loved it bc the charcoal absorbed the usual strong bleach smell and it worked super quickly without destroying my ends
girl i feel that, i used to live in philly until i barely survived a violent home invasion. i've moved around a lot since and landed in seattle a few years ago. now i'm back to living in fear because apparently the trendy thing for children to do now is rob people at gunpoint, steal cars, drive the wrong way down highways and in residential areas at 100+mph, shoot people (for fun), and get addicted to fentanyl. still not as bad as philly but i mean... come on. we pay a premium to live in "secured luxury apartments" and yet our car still get broken into in our locked garage. maybe one day i'll find a quiet little area to live in if i'm not murdered before then ;w;
It's good for your long-term vision to keep moving your eyes to extreme areas keeps your eyes younger longer so don't worry it's one of the best things you can do to help you vision. I am a professional photographer my vision because of the way I had to set up my edit room made me do it and I went from a 20.20 to20.10in one eye and 20. 15 in the other. So keep it up ! As a woman in my 50s it was a shock and I tey yo get people to do it and they don't and really just 10 m8ns a day if you can do it twice would be better but seriously it is a awesome thing for your eyes. ❤
You’re so right about the city I knew people in the city tended to be hella rude from visiting but when you actually live there it’s a nightmare (and city people complain about bugs or train noises …. Meanwhile they got sirens going off and crimes right outside your front door 😂) It’s definitely a culture shock but I’m glad you’re safer currently and just be extra vigilant! If something feels off or has bad juju LEAVE THE SITUATION it’s not worth it. Hope you can save up money quickly to move 💖
I really hated this lightener too. I'm a natural level 8 strawberry blonde and mixed with a 20vol it barely lifted my natural regrowth. It felt "gloopy" and drying, which made me so sad because I was excited about the bonding addition! I'm sorry it didn't work out for you either, but im glad it's not just me. 😵💫
I grew up in a similar town. “Small town”, “rural” but I literally would not go outside at night and my parents had to hire people to drive me 5 minutes and less than a mile down the street from my high school because I was too terrified to walk home and lived too close for the bus. I ended up moving to the south and felt so safe where my parents moved to and then they kicked me out and I lived in a sketchy area. The last straw was someone parked a van across parking spots by my apartment and super tinted windows and it sat there… freaked me out. Told my partner, I don’t care where we move, we’re not renewing this lease. We ended up moving to one of the most expensive areas in the state because I got lucky and found a condo with lower rent than the average and got accepted. I feel so safe, normally I do not go outside alone and now I feel safe to go out alone at night. I really hope you find a better place!
I got my shirts and palette yesterday and wore the green top today! It’s so cute and I felt cute! 🥰 I love it! I can’t wait to use your palette as well!🖤🖤🖤🖤
After hearing you express how terrible that place is, all I want is to take you in and keep you safe 😖 I hope you can move soon enough before anything happens. 💜 The hair looks great btw
I feel this. Where i live there is a shooting or murder almost daily. I am a head start teacher and we had a shooting in our school parking lot while i was outside with my students. It is hard to live in this world now.
Where I live in Nebraska we have drug deals go down in broad daylight and just yesterday the K9 unit came to the apartment complex bc of drugs in the back of the complex
Hey beautiful Aislinn 💜🤗💕 Y’all stay safe (weather and crimes)! I’m sorry there’s so much crime goin on where you live! Have you thought about where you’d wanna move if you do? I can’t wait to see the new 🌈 rainbow hair!! 🤩 love you friend! 🥰
Girl I think were gonna need a proof of life post every day! I hope you get out of that town soon! I'm a small town gal myself, tried city life for a few months a long time ago but it wasn't for me, happily living village life now 😊
I felt the same way about my safety when I went to my university in 2012. I had to drive on this ridiculously dangerous interstate everyday for 45 minutes to get to class. For whatever reason people were constantly stopping on a dime for no reason. Once I saw a car wrapped around a bridge pillar and completely crushed. Definitely no survivors. I told everyone I am probably going to die before I graduate. Thankfully that didn't happen. You will be okay and you'll get out of there too. Just be careful. ❤️
I had a similar experience, I lived in little WV most of my life, smaller town. Moved to Indianapolis after I graduated high school. Total culture shock, so much crime. I hated it. I moved back home and will never live in a city again.
I bought bar bond lightener after your video and i love it. I love all bond bar products. The clarifying shampoo, hydration mask and detangler are staplers for me. I can’t wait for them to come out with a larger bottle of the hydration mask
Your story about thinking small town people would be nice is like my story of taking a job as an unpaid caregiver to help a woman in the mountains who couldn’t move below the neck and shoulders. And boy did I find out that even a disabled person can take advantage of you lmao It took me 3.5 years to be able to leave because I wasn’t being paid and was in the mountains
All our mentsl health gets therepy through watching you and ofc thstd how we sll have ourself I'm truly blessed I love you it'd not s bad life just a bad day I love you queen ❤️ 🥺Been here for over 3 years now ❤️
I had bought this when it first hit shelves... I've never tried a charcoal product before so I was overconfident when I whipped this up and put it in my hair... I went from chocolate brown to blonde and for the first time in the last 5yrs I've bleached my own hair.... I FRIEDMY HAIR... 2 days before Christmas last yr and had to get my hair (that was down to my butt) chopped off to your length😭😭😭 I've been thinkin of tryin it again and not keep it on like normal.
I like the Brae Wanna be blond powder lightener I mix it with the Superstar developer the combo does swell to a mousse but this helps if small patches are not getting covered during bleaching the hair. I need an hour to do my entire head of roots so twice I divided the sections top to bottom rinsing 3 or 4 times I got a good conditioner Daily Dosage that helps it to not get dried during me finishing the bottom half of my hair. Oddly enough I might try the charcoal because my slow application
I know what it's like living somewhere like you do. My husband and I have lived in our house almost 20 years. We are on a few acres, and there is no neighborhood here. All the houses are tucked away in the woods with at least 1 or more acres. It was always so quiet, and I never felt unsafe. Then low income apartments were built on the boarder of our property. We can't see them from our house, and our house is not visible to them, but we can hear people outside fighting and screaming. Gun shots have become a normal sound, along with sirens. Last year my husband took out the trash which our house is up on a hill and it's a pretty steep driveway. It was dark and while he was putting the trash can by the curb a guy walked by him. They said "hi" to each other and my husband came back up the driveway and as soon as he walked through the door we heard gunshots. We called and reported it and soon after the cops were swarming our driveway and up at our house. The guy that had just walked by my husband was lying dead in the road at the end of our driveway. When you look at the crime map those apartments have something happening every single day. Assaults, robbery, domestic violence, rape, drugs and now murder. I've nicknamed the apartments "murder heights". I love my house and we put so much work into it. I travel a lot to other countries and places in the US and every time I'm gone I worry daily about our house being robbed. My husband and I are both licensed to carry and there is always something within easy reach. We have security camera's everywhere now, outdoor motion lights and a sensor that goes off when someone enters the driveway. I don't want to move, but it's not worth losing our lives. It makes me so angry and I don't understand how some people have no regard for another's property or life. I live in the south, so I get the tornado warnings as well. Last year I drove through an F2 tornado, not knowing there was an active tornado on the ground. I hope you will be able to get away from the crime soon. 💜
I’m so sorry you have to deal with that 😭 I’m always locked and loaded just in case, and we have cameras outside and inside our condo. I’ve been traveling a lot just to escape from the craziness here. I’m looking forward to leaving as soon as I can 🖤
That sucks that they went and ruined the nice quiet safe neighborhood you had and turned it into a very high crime area. It sounds like where I grew up, before the apartments went in, so I get how nice that kind of atmosphere is. And unfortunately that kind of crime rate plummets property values so they screwed the people that already lived there. 😥

That bleach pack WORKED. But when I went to Sally's last week, it looked like they re-branded it as "color remover". Wtf? If I can find it at another one, I will buy it up.
I've only tried one charcoal lightener and I absolutely hated it, the powder particles were too big, the mixture was extremely dry, so difficult to work with that I missed a couple spots in my roots. And for the whitening effect of the charcoal... I get way better results mixing Blondme with Igora Cool Lift.
Have you tried starting in the front first? I’ve noticed the back lifts faster with myself and clients. It seems like the back of the head is really hot lol so it goes pretty fast
Girl anytime I do my hair n look over im a different direction my eyes do that i literally braided my hair today n they did that 😂😂 it’s not just you it’s the over directing of ur vision
I hope you can get the funds to move! Come to Australia! Our $ is like 0.65c to your US $ so youll be winning lol. Its so much safer in general. Also thanks always for your great content
That's crazy... I don't think it has much to do with how big or small a town is rather than with the system and all that stuff You look gorgeous though ❤
Yet another person chiming in to rant about how much this lightener sucks. 💀 I have natural level 7 hair, it lifts super easily with 10 volume developer and I never have issues with patchiness or banding. I used this lightener with 10 volume on dirty hair with oil saturating it. My hair was super super healthy before I used this product. I ONLY applied it to my regrowth for 25 minutes and didn't even touch my ends. Annnnnd it left my hair so dry and chalky and lifted unevenly on top of the damage, it took a few weeks for my hair to bounce back when it usually takes days. 🥴😭 I used to work at Sally's and I'd always steer people away from this because it's so easy to fry your hair off and the charcoal color makes it soooooo hard to check your progress as you're lightening.
I sincerely hope that you'll make it out of this town alive. Must be terrifying to literally watch crimes happening right outside the window. I hope your next place will be the kind of a "forever home" and you can feel more safe there. Thank you for filming, although you had such a rough time and take care!

It looks like it lifted the pink at the roots.
That's what I was going to mention when I came to the comments. It looked like it pulled a lot of that pink out near the root
Sucks you’ve had to move so much, I hope you can find a good home soon. Always rooting for you and hoping for your safety ♥️

10 levels is bs for this bleach I feel like most bleaches just use it as a marketing term "we lift x+ levels"

Can you please try wella shinefinity glosses? Apparently it’s a completely no damage gloss that can tone or color your hair!

In my head I'm imagining that you live in the town I used to live in. The descriptions of your fellow residents sound so familiar to me. Once my husband responded to a domestic violence call in our neighborhood, even though it wasn't his jurisdiction, but local law enforcement requested assistance.
I worked at sallys and technically you're only supposed to use this on non bleached hair because it's so harsh can make hair fall off really easily! Also is only supposed to be for off scalp!
Love your makeup ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🌈

Can you try the new bw2+ I think it has bonding plex
I always have to put my contacts in when I do my hair so I’m not getting anything on my glasses and I 100% agree with that statement of the eye strain. Mine will start to get real dried out and just well you know.😂😂
The house I grew up in was directly in front of the one of two bars in my town. The things I saw. 😂
I agree with your thoughts too. Sallys just brought out a BW2+ lightener........can you try that one next?!? Love hearing your feedback, as an employee at sallys i cant possibly try everything so its great hearing your POV.😃. Sorry your neighborhood is rough- wishing you the best.

I can relate to your neighbor issues and that you can't just move because rent is high, and it takes time to save first/last/deposit.
What do you believe is the best hair bleach? I have super dark hair and it takes. Forever to bleach yet never comes out right!
That bleach pack WORKED. But when I went to Sally's last week, it looked like they re-branded it as "color remover". Wtf? If I can find it at another one, I will buy it up.

Have you tried starting in the front first? I’ve noticed the back lifts faster with myself and clients. It seems like the back of the head is really hot lol so it goes pretty fast
Okay i thought i was crazy. I used that and HATED it. It made about an inch of my ends fry tf up
It’s honestly horrible 😅
Nawww.. sorry you‘re struggling. Sending positive vibes from Berlin (Germany) 🍀
lol, girl, it sounds like when I lived in Cincinnati-what a frikkin’ war zone 😂
My eyes go nuts when I bleach my roots they always hurt after
There are sirens going off so consistently where I live that I don't even hear then anymore
We hate it when lighteners swell because it causes bleed marks in foils.
Your roots look really good tho. I can see where u are coming from but it looks good.
It looks like the grey stuff from beauty and the beast😊
I've used this, and as good as it worked, my skin always had a reaction. So I sadly had to stop using it😢
My eyes and my arms get super sore if I'm doing my hair.
Same 😭
I feel like you have to live in Chicago 😭😭
Girl anytime I do my hair n look over im a different direction my eyes do that i literally braided my hair today n they did that 😂😂 it’s not just you it’s the over directing of ur vision
I’ve tried this as well and hated it
I’ll stick to my blonde me bleach!
I tried it and wasn't too impressed, but I have super dark hair, so that could be a part of it. didn't lose my hair tho
im still very curious where in the south you moved to and ended up hating
Really hoping you're safe and can move out of there asap.❤
Girl show us the drama!
lol I actually did film it but my street sign was in the video as well as the town name on the side of the cop car 🥴😂
@@AkaAislinn need a blurrer. Wish I could help you. I know nothing about video editing.
It looks like it lifted the pink no?
When your lease is up it might be time to move to a small town or a northern state. Stay safe. 🙏💕
Does anyone know if it would be bad to use a higher developer but mix in some water ?
That's is good exercise for eyes to be looking in a corners🎉😂
I hope you can get the funds to move! Come to Australia! Our $ is like 0.65c to your US $ so youll be winning lol. Its so much safer in general.
Also thanks always for your great content
It's cute though!

I just got my green one and I LOVE it 😭🖤
I hope you have a nice trip
Love you 🫶🏻
You should watch Ryan Hall Y'all for severe weather coverage. He's the best!!
I do! ☺️
From my angle it looks like it lifted the pink did it.
Did it lift any of the overlap of the pink?❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🌈☠️
Nope, it made it a brighter pink 😭
Awe dang sorry🫂😽🌈
That's crazy... I don't think it has much to do with how big or small a town is rather than with the system and all that stuff
You look gorgeous though ❤
Not gonna lie, your lava lamp stole your limelight 😂
Did I miss something…. The pink came back ???
Yay can't wait ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🌈☠️
Looks like it might have worked on the colors though. I don't think I've seen anyone like that bleach! Stay safe!
I know you hated it, but it turned out great!
I hope you get out of that then it sounds horrifying 😧 stay safe honey 🤍
I hope you find your way out of your town ❤
i thought i was the only one that the eye thing happens to! it's awful mid application my eyes are all like 😵💫
