Scene from Michael Ritchie's 1976 "Bad News Bears." Coach Buttermaker plays all the subs in the end of the championship game, realizing that he'd become too competitive.
"Get back in the stands before I shave off half of your mustache and shove it up your left nostril" sounds so much like Shakespeare. I love that line! I hope that Walter Matthau enjoyed being in this movie. He seemed to make it a lot of fun.
If more adults talked to kids like that instead of coddling them....we would have a better generation. It's not the kids fault....it's the insane adults that made them this way.
I have used so many lines just in my regular verbiage from this movie it’s not even funny! In fact. I still use a lot of them to this day and I had no idea where got some of them until I re watched this movie haha
Ah yes...baseball back before all the scrubs had to play. Back before the "1 plate appearance or 2 innings in the field" rule. Oh well...I never had to worry about that. I started every game.
This movie is such a masterpiece.
Thanks my mom and dad
That little speech to lupus is priceless.

Shave off half your mustache and shove it up your left nostril LMAO!!!!! absolute classic. I love this movie
That Billy Blow Thornton version doesn't hold a candle to this 1976 classic. This is the Best. The One and Only!
It shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breathe
@@maxpower2542ignore them 😅😅😅😅
I miss life from the past
"Before I shave off half your mustache and shove it up your left nostril."
I've used that line on someone in an online debate once lol...
The first movie I saw in the theater and still one of my all-time favorites!!

The snowflake generation
2:35 - "Three more outs Buttermaker, so get lost." Right to the end, Buttermaker is disrespected by a bunch of children. Classic and hilarious.
Saw when it came out in 77. Great ❤ movie n cast
Walter was incredible
Good actor he was in this kids baseball movie.
7 people didn't come into this life to sit their ass on a dugout bench
Because buttermaker wants everyone to play on the team.
That line about Olgivie at 0:28 always makes me laugh 😂
Lupus ❤
Wow! This is an actual scene from the actual movie!
He beat out the bunt. He beat out the bunt!
This is where it became the greatest kids sports movie. It’s not about winning, it’s about being a team and playing for the love of the game.
2:09 solid

0:30 "eres un tonto algo" That nonsense is a blooper ?
I think he meant "eres algo tonto" (that's something like "you are somewhat silly").

You're an idiot
There is no need to do a remake of any film that can't be improved on. The 1976 version is perfect.
@@jefffinley8359 and there's still 2 remakes to go....the black version of the movie and the female version of the movie
