- I went to my 40 year All Star Baseball reunion at Pan Pacific (Gardner Park) in LA. I was blessed to have the stars Erin Blunt and Brett Marx along for the event. I interviewed them guerilla style in the outfield after the game and decided to make a little documentary out of it.

I think the first movie was a very underrated movie critically speaking. One of the best movies I've ever seen.
This is fantastic... Great Memories for the 11 year old Little Leaguer who saw this with his Mom. I'll never forget has we walked out of the theater, she said "That was a good movie"....
All us sandlot kids were the Bad News Bears. And we were all good. LThese were the days in the 70’s where we played baseball, football and hockey. Outside, not on screens.
Watch it every year in April - saw it in the theaters when I was 10
Smiling ,the whole time watching this, saw it in theaters age 8.
one of the all time great classics. i remember when it came out i was a kid in the 70s. long live the bad news bears! what a movie!
This movie was a huge part of our childhood, my friends and I were about the same age as the actors. Just watched it for the first time in 35 years.
I appreciated hearing this. Glad all 3 of you put the time into it. The movie had an impact on a lot of people and still stands as one of the most genuine depictions of that time period ever put on film. If you're still adding to your all-time movie list, consider another one that also captured the late '70s feel just right for a slightly older age group: Over the Edge.
Breaking Training was the best of the three!🎉
Debatable and subjective.
The original wasn't really intended as a kid's movie but it just so happened that kids loved it.
Breaking Training cashed in on the first movie's popularity with a younger audience and was intended more for teens and older kids. You can tell by the slightly more kid friendlyscript where they toned down a lot of the adult language, and adult themes, and made it slightly more light hearted with slapstick like the umpires chasing Tanner Boyle around the field.
Brett is related to old Hollywood royalty as the grandsom of Gummo Marx of the famous Marx Brothers. This film is still in my top 20 favorites.
top 20 is right. all time great. Had no idea on Gummo!!! Thanks
@@jgallagher1359 To me, he so closely resembles Harpo, I had to double-check his ancestry!
dead ringer
also the blonde kids in the movie kinda look the same
also also: was very glad to see someone call this a top 20 all time movie bc people typically can't accept the idea that comedies, and kinda light ones, would be in that categoy. raw comedy like Naked Gun…people are like "huh" if you say it's a top 10@@Captain-Cosmo
One off my all time favorites. Ever !
I’m surprise you didn’t mention that Brett Marx is related to the Marx Brothers
I saw BNB 13 times in the movie theater when I was a kid.
My aunt would take us to the market to buy candy, we’d make popcorn at home and sneak it into the theater.
I still have the Kelly Leak influence in my life at 54.
I just got a Honda motorcycle like in breaking training. I cruise around the neighborhood I grew up and wonder where all the people and time went.
Really cool video. I never played baseball but I loved the movie. Thanks for making this video, and thanks to the actors Erin Blunt, and Brett Marx, for participating in it.
The interviewer's story is really crazy
we want an interview with Tanner!
Love the movie. Own them on DVD
Such legendary characters in my world, then he didn't even know characters name
Great job on that. Really entertaining.
Buttermaker: "okay kid it looks like your father is gona have to pay for my windshield"
Kid who threw the ball: "bullshit"
Awesome interview. I am likewise in all regards. Same generation, the short, very good player, feisty and a mouth like a sewer. Not as bad ass as Tanner, I would never have called another teammate a 'booger eating moron', lol.
We also had a baseball team
They were sooooooo cute.
Hi from México
Excellent expose of what Little League was (and still is) really like!!!!😀😀😀
I would have asked if Tanner's racist lines bothered them at the time
Snow flake

Age does that to some people. Does not change who they are inside though.
