Amazing how this kit brought so many people together building it, mine was with my grandad in the early 80’s, unfortunately our kit had the clear parts missing, so my grandad sent Airfix a letter and Airfix sent us the clear parts plus a 1/72 Vulcan and a Pontiac Trans-Am and a very apologetic letter. Fantastic memories 👍🏻

I have a bag version of the kestrel,
early 70's version of the mk 1 and of course I have the 1/24 scale mk3 long nosed, which you can make the mk1 version.
I know what you mean about the Harrier.
    Just a special jet plane.
    Great videos.
Love Airfix from my childhood, 60 this year so I'm collecting a stash for my pension lol.

@@nostalgicplastic4323 it is the same as the first model from 1963.
They should have called in the kestrel.

Lovely kit, still one of my favorites amongst the Brewster Buffalo. I liked the detail a lot, swivelling nozzles...great fun in those days

Same here, a soft spot for Harriers.
Odd you mentioned the Buffalo, I preordered the vintage classic one, should arrive tomorrow so I'll be doing that ASAP. Don't think I've ever made one of them before. I was just having a desk tidy-up and checking I've got the right paints.
