In this case, I created a copy of the base game pen. Then you edit the numbers in the xml file. The structure is similar to fs22, so finding a video on how to do it in that would help if you need more info
Can anyone explain why there would be food types in the game that take up space in the pen, which can’t be removed, and which provide absolutely nothing for the animals? I’ve never understood why they even exist at all. It seems ridiculous to add grazing to the game and then have it be pointless.
Im in the let them graze for 23 months, fatten and sell camp. If anything that's far more realistic at least where im from where land is not an issue. Flipped 146 cows yesterday and made around $250-300k profit after fees. Beef farmers here feed them nothing but grass and the cattle drink from miniature dams that rarely if ever need topping up.
Silage Bales may not be king anymore. The price, atleast on riverbend, is about 20% less thsn fs22, hovering around $200 peak. Its still good, but not miles above everything else.
@@DisTurbedSimulationsbut would you really want to graze at 40% productivity? I know cows probably wouldnt care for baled fresh grass, but I imagine they get more than 40% health from grazing and enjoy that more. They should separate meadow grass grazing - give them 80% for the time it lasts, and keep grass at 40%. Else, why would you graze, just bale with silage additive, you'll get more. And isn't "all grass fed beef" supposed to be superior quality? I know some milk farmers advertise that their cows are grass fed. They give them additives of course.
the fact you don't like the answer does not make the answer invalid. assuming you play on PC wait for the mods. and using caps lock doesn't change it, it makes you look childish.
Data plots. Disturbed is so back 😂
All the data is inbound :D
Appreciate all your hard work putting this together thank you
My pleasure
Hey nice testing! How did you change the capacitys of the animal pens in terms of TMR capacity and stuff?

No I'm not the developer of the game

If you have a big enough pasture grazing them is realistic. Giving them no food or water for 23 months is the unrealistic case I was discussing.
Hard data on FS25, D/S helping us getting started on the new game :D Thanks!
It's what I wanted early access for, I spent a lot of the Sunday building spreadsheets
where do you sell the beef cattle at ?
The animal dealer
I understood most of that 😂
Maybe I should try beef. Haven’t really touched it in 22
Excellent:) It's been a white since I did videos like this so I was worried about them. And yeah they can be a good option
@ all the “can you make money from” rust you might have had is definitely gone now :)
Thank you for the hard work. However you do present some really interesting information. Great video, thanks.
Glad you found it useful
Thank you for the great information as always!
My pleasure
Looking forward to you guys fixing this with the new version of maize+
I already miss M+, looking forward to getting back to a little terralife soon in FS22

That depends if yield is the same I guess. And for this is actually beneficial as it makes processing them in to beef more valuable ;)
So they enable grazing but you get no health. 🤦♂️
@@chrismc81 for cows
@ Yeah I know but still frustrating.
yup very.
Great bit of stats D/S you’re in your element again with loads of useful information 👏👏👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

ROI per month/year?
If its not in there I didn't calculate it. Exercise for the viewer as "I" depends on shed brought, equipment costs
Wheres the meat processing. I hate that giants refuses to add that. DONT GIVE THAT RATING BS. I wish they would make more adult like adult beverges .
