Oh, gosh. This is basically my LA. The vintage shop is 2 blocks away from my old townhouse. And I'm pretty sure I know what street the seamstress shop is.
This is a rather silly question, but those clothes were washed (lovingly and carefully) before shown right. Because in my mind, the shop will smell quite a lot if not :D
Quite suspicious since fringe was not actually a thing in 20´s, that´s straight up stereotype. Also, very, very, VERY short dress for a authentic flapper dress: they're was shorter, but never ever shorter than the knees (that was reserved for prostitutes only) ... Probably more an reproduction than a original (also, if it was an original there ´s some really bad holding going on for a silk embroidered fabric with at least 80 years old).
Ugh! I wish this video clip was longer! My favorite era - the roaring 20s!!! :). Stunning black dress :)
choirkitty me too! i would give anything to live back then!!!!
Is it weird that I start tearing up when Doris brings out these vintage pieces.
This woman *knows* costuming.
Coustom? I would wear that to the Penera Bread down the street😂😂😂
People say she's overpriced! But you can't find beautiful pieces like that anywhere!
Wow that dress is stunning
:)
the Taylor was so gentle

I LOVE vintage so much. Mostly jewelry but purses and clothing too. So lovely. And the Art Deco style is so classic.
That is an artisan of the highest calibre to restore historical costume like that.
"Sewing Wizard"
Love those platform sandals at the end!
I want to see more!
The jacket is exquisite. I need to get mine tailored.

They are specially dry cleaned and handled. They aren't washed.
I'm gonna cry 😢. my prom is in 2 weeks and the theme is 1920s. I don't have a dress and this specific dress is my dream
How did it go?

DOGGO
I want Tatiana and her husband to be my grandparents!!!
great
Red's from OITNB goos sister over there.
Respect to Tanya ☺ She's from Russia or Ukraine 👋
She said Ukraine when she introduced herself. :-)
Wouldn't it be more sensible to tailor it to the body of the wearer? Save it being over worked?
This is not fair! Fitter dresses look better and more flattering!
Agreed! Especially for hourglasses like me! I dream of a 1920s dress that will suit my body and not drown it
was this show cancel ?
Why is this videos so small
👍
I really want to work with the tailor lady.
Wow
