What i did for my prison style stencils was hard outline the piece as much as you can without ripping the paper while another piece covered in graphite from a pencil is under it so as you write over itll do both sides at the same time
My husband legit got his start in pro tattooing by a dude who spent a third of his life in prison. Taught him everything he knew, way more than the dude who officially "apprenticed" him. He was way more knowledgeable than the shop owner who gave my dude the apprenticeship. Funny enough, the shop owner/dude who apprenticed my husband is now in prison for attempted murder, and the buddy who spent so much time in there beforehand is now the shop owner of a killer shop, and is doing amazing in life. My husband now works for the most respected shops in our area of Cali, and is an award winning artist. Humble beginnings can get you super far, for sure.

This is how I got my first tattoo lol I wasn’t in jail tho I got it done when I was 13 by a crazy man that my dad knew I got the tattoo in my shed behind my house with my mom and dad sitting there watching me get it done then my mom got the same tattoo as me along with another one that I drew…zero fucks where given😂
Works better if u put cuts in the paper to help it form to the skin. Just don't cut the actual stencil part but lines around it so the paper isn't so stiff
