- all those that know of me know that I struggled to overcome a suicide attempt at the end of last year. on Halloween night 2019, I took over 400 tablets and ended up in a coma for nearly two months, nearly a year later and mental health awareness month, I though I would post my answers on questions people normally ask me when I'm out and about. thankyou to everyone who donated in anyway and for all the support given to myself and my family! none of it has gone unnoticed ♥️ massive thankyou to everyone who helped make the journey easier.
came from your snapchat, so proud of you beautiful girl, takes so much to be able to do this, you’re amazing❤️❤️
Thankyou ♥️♥️
You’re so amazing and so strong, I remember vividly just how worried yet positive that you’d pull through ,we all were, especially the night of the fundraiser for your party in the aberbeeg rugby club, you should be so proud of yourself ❤️
Thankyou! Honestly everyone was so positive and it just helped make the journey easier for my family through the whole process 💕 I am extremely proud of myself and have pushed myself to new limits I never though I had in me. Thankyou for the support ♥️

@@steveprice4613 thankyou, you too! X
Bless you Cariad, you've come such a long way. This is a very brave thing for you to do. Your sister did an excellent job of keeping us all informed on your progress whilst you were in hospital. You are a real fighter 💪 Cariad and so strong - always have been and just goes to prove how devastating mental health problems can be to even the most seemingly robust of people. Just goes to show really of how strong people struggle on too long and then hit crisis too hard. Please remember to reach out should things start to overwhelm you in the future.
The heartbreaking decision you took, the pain and anguish you must have felt and how that permeated through to your family whilst they anxiously waited and prayed for your physical health to improve and must have agonized over what had bought you to this place in your young life is so sad to contemplate. I was just wondering if you were offered any peer mentoring support or if you've found it helpful to talk to others who for one reason or another have been where you are/were or if you yourself consider peer mentoring a worthwhile role in supporting people with shared experiences and navigating your way through your ongoing journey and possibly that of your family's. I really hope that this video helps others and has helped you - oh and please tell Shannon and Lauren that we would love to hear how they have coped as a young person but also as a sister, daughter, friend, carer, etc. 👊
You're a lovely little family and I think of you often. Stay safe and never be afraid to reach out for help - poor mental health can happen to anyone and is far more likely to hit those who are coping with too much and trying to do so on their own. Lots of love 💖🥰😍😘 xxx
Thankyou so much 💕 there's a special group that I can join at any time that only coma and intensive care survivors can be in. I think it's really helpful because you know you're not alone then and you can speak about any lasting effects you can have and see if anyone has the same issue and how they deal with it. I'm trying to convince Shannon to do a video for me and then I will post it once it's done ♥️ xxx
So proud of you sis! Almost cried watching this mind but you've done so well 😊 shame covid is stopping me seeing you with caerphilly Borough being on lockdown but I'm sure we will make up for lost time when its over! Keep it up xx
Thankyou xx
Hi Cariad. I think you've been so brave to do this video and we can all learn so much from you. Might you and your sister be interested in taking part in a longer documentary about mental health?
