yeah first video was not very informative, I still didn't know how to us meta mask after watching, i hope this new video is better.

No one is mentioning how you send eth to Metamask and that seems to be the only question everyone is asking.
where are you sending it from? Coinbase? Just take your ETH address in Metamask and paste it in the Send/Withdraw field in Coinbase or whatever wallet you have

In Matamask I see the acronyn "DEN" at the sign up screen "Encrypt your new DEN". What does "DEN" stand for?

as long as you have the private keys/json file you should be able to access your funds associated with that private key in ANY wallet.

Natalija Boka it's a separate wallet. Mew generates your private key though which you can import to metamask or any ethereum wallet that you want.
How does one transfer a token (e.g. PLR) from MetaMask to MyEtherWallet. It is said that one should export the private key from MetaMask to MEW - BUT, where on earth in MEW does one paste that private key????
If you already have myetherwallet private key and ETHWallet address but later install MetaMask, then MetaMask will create a new ETHWallet address with a new private key. I would suggest to login to MetaMask first and then CLick "Connet to MetaMask" option to view your wallet on Myetherwallet page. However, you view your balance, tokens etc on MetaMask directly.
Yes, you can use the same public wallet address (never use/share private key) to buy/transfer ERC-20 base tokens from different exchange to your ETH wallet. I would recommend to buy physical device such as Neno ledger to save and transfer Ethereum. Never buy neno ledger USB from ebay or other unofficial sources.

When i try to send eth from metamask to any other address it wont allow my to send it out of wallet. When i check transaction on ethscan it shows send from metamask to metamask. When copy and past say my coinbase address to the send to it goes in but then after i hit send, confirm it just goes back to metamask.. Help!

I sent 0.29 eth from binance to my metamask address but it's not showing on my metamask meanwhile binance shows transaction completed from deposit/withdraw history page. He didn't say that, but just click on those 3 dots and press "Copy Address to clipboard". Now you have your address copied and just passed it on any exchanges when press withdrawal at your ETH value.

My one question pertains to adding tokens -- you said that if you add a token, whatever tokens you have associated to your wallet address will be loaded into the MetaMask extension. I am slightly confused on this as I am unclear on how to have tokens that are already linked with my address. Right now I am trying to get MANA into my MetaMask, and I'm willing to throw you a ETH tip for the help :)
no need to tip me! Go to Etherscan, click on the token tab, search for MANA. Then get the contract address. Copy paste that into the "Add Tokens" form of Metamask. It should then show up!

When I go into Metamask to import my Myetherwallet account the addresses are different. Also, why was I asked to create seed words on Metamask. When I try to import the account using the JSON File, it is no where to be found. I’m confused and think I should start all over again.

dude do you add the contract address before or after you have sent the new token's funds to one's etherium public address? or it does not matter the order? Why can't I add a sending address to my metamask? I have copied and tried to paste several times. I do have three sending addresses that drop down, but I am not able to add any from exchanges, etc.

Yes. With metamask on my brave browser, I am not able to paste addresses. I also have metamask on firefox, but with that one, I can paste.

umm your MetaMask is just an interface for your Ethereum wallet. So yes you can send your tokens to your Metamask Ethereum address. You can view your tokens in your wallet afterwards but i dont think you can SEND THEM from your MM wallet. You'll need to export your wallet to another Ethereum wallet like MyEtherWallet, Parity, etc. in order to transfer your tokens.

you need to use the import account/wallet via JSON file or private key option. You should have downloaded your JSON file when you used MEW to set up an account

JSON file just stores your wallet information like an encrypted private key and what not. Gas is another way to say transaction fees.

Metamask is an Ethereum wallet. It holds Ethereum and also ERC20 tokens (Ethereum standard tokens). Bitcoin Silver is based on Bitcoin so you cant hold it in MetaMask. You have to find an exchange that offers Bitcoin Silver and then send BTC/ETH over there to trade for it. Hope this helps!

Hi-merry Xmas firstly. I need some advice anyone! I just sent a test of 1 ETHER from my Ethereum ledger wallet using my nano s ledger. It should have shown up in my Metamask page but has not done so. I can see it sitting in myetherscan. how do i access it now? i cannot add ETH as a coin to Metamask as it only allows to add tokens.
