- Bono from U2 added some of the lyrics to Depeche Mode's Personal Jesus to pay tribute to the band as Martin Gore, Peter Gordeno, and Christian Eigner were in attendance at their show on Dec. 2nd, 2023 at the Sphere in Las Vegas.

As an Irish person I respect U2 as a super act but Dm is the band I’ve seen 20 plus times , they sadly don’t or ever will get the respect they deserve in uk Ireland etc.
