It’s the way Simon had that absolutely in love, exhausted, relieved look on his face in the finale last scene when he hugs Wilhelm. I’ve rewatched the scene so many times just for that look of pure bliss and relief. Yes Simon. You can be in love with wille now. That one look makes the whole angst of the show worth it. It may be my second favourite scene in the entire show. (The first being the football field scene, obviously)
Yesterday was one of the best days of my life, saying goodbye to the show that shaped me in ways that cannot be described. I’ll forever be thankful to that day in 2021, when I decided to give the little Swedish show a chance. Thank you Young Royals.
The way Edvin portrays Prince Wilhelm in all his colourful facets and complex emotions is breathtakingly beautiful. Both on set and outside of it, he inspires those around him by being respectful, approachable, and positive. People feel safe with Edvin, and our beloved Wilhelm was in the right hands. He came to life as the strong yet fragile Crown Prince of Sweden whom we all fell in love with for his ability to navigate between others' expectations, the pressures of royalty, and his own needs and dreams. Rarely has an actor been able to give so much depth to a character, and by doing so, Edvin became a huge role model for those who struggle with their identity, mental health, sexual orientation, or class-related issues. He and Omar, due to their inimitable chemistry, have shown us what true love is about: deep emotional closeness, trust, and the courage to show the world what we feel for someone, even if we know that this may lead to trouble. Thank you for igniting the purple fire within us all-the fire of hope for equality, respect, and eternal love. 🔥💜
Omg their love journey ..i canttt 😭they made it so realisticcc ...starting with few stares ----> to making memorable moments together ...being closeted ..moving onn ..accepting their love ...facing n struggling with all those terrific situations ..standing for each other ( sometimes being pookie pookie with each other )....everything felt so real n furrfucttt..Their first kiss tension ws everything ...n all those lovable hugss ws chef s kiss stuff ❤they both should do more series together ...

I love the similarities to the history of prince Harry who quit the crown to have a normal life with the love of his life. I love the end, it was lovely.

I’m so mad about them cutting his gorgeous hair, but on a real note this show has made me learn so many things. I also never expected myself to be an august apolgest, but hearing his story made me aware of his problems and mental health.
I needed this palate cleanser because I am still not ready to let them go - one of the best edits I've seen of the completion 10/10
The important thing to know is that the two boys lived happily ever after.
I can’t believe I didn’t watch this show until this week because for years I thought it was just going to be a Swedish gossip girl that through in a gay couple for diversity points. It was so good, so heartbreaking with such a good payoff. Even characters like August, who was so flawed, was treated with the respect and complexity a human should be and growed so much. Such a good show

Hands down the best series I have ever watched. It's sad and heartbreaking to let them go but at least they lived happily ever after. It released on my birthday for the 1st season, best bday present ever. I am forever gratefull for this series and for Lisa making it all happen. They had their fights, differences and such but they are perfect together❤

Their story was intended to be told in 3 seasons from the beginning.they could've milk out the series if they wanted.knowing it'd destroy the story they didn't take that path rather they gave such a beautiful ending to the series.i'm a Straight girl,but i can say with my whole heart,never have I seen such a beautiful lovestory portrayed in TV history.the more u watch it, the better or addictive it gets istg.don't freak out guys, they're gonna act together again😊
