- Hi! Here's a video, of how to stick a tattoo stencil on fake skin. I'm still a tattoo apprentice not a teacher but I wanted to share this with you in case you're thinking to start tattooing or you are having difficulties on how to apply the stencil. I have a question. Is the synthetic skin a 3mm thickness? And how long do you leave the stencil to dry on the synthetic skin? I keep freestyling my designs.

Hi Thank you, it's 3mm thickness and leave it a day to dry (I have written at the end of the video) that's cool you will create more unique designs!

I use the same stencil cream and it will not leave a good out line it's really dim on the the fake skin. Iv tried a grip of times.. what material do u use to do your stencil?
I know what you mean, try to don't put a lot of stencil cream, wipe it well and leave it a day to dry. I make the stencil from my iPad on procreate and I use a thermal printer to do it. In this video, I used a dot matrix printer but it doesn't come out dark as a thermal printer. The stencil paper I used spirit classic thermal.

the problem lies when you start tattooing if you ,and you haven't let it dry which takes forever on fake skin.The lines wash right off.HERE IS THE TRICK. Get yourself a hair dryer to dry it fast.If you choose to not use a hair drying it will take a day to dry
That's what I wrote in the end of the video to leave it a day to dry I never tattoo immediately.

Hi what are you using to stick it? You can use dettol aswell and dont put a lot just a thin layer and leave it a day to dry dont tattoo immediately
@@yleniaattardarttattoo3884 I made the stencil wrong lol. I found out that I also used the 'third' layer for drawing. No wonder that it wouldn't stick😅
@@JeffsSpecial haha these things happen 🤣 hopefully this time will stick well, once you stick it and dries it wouldnt go away only if you soak a paper towel with bleach on top of it, if the blue will bugs you and you want to slightly lighten it, you can put a bit of bleach
