    I was enjoying a nice cup of coffee watching your delicious looking baking lol. You probably don't need my advice but when I need to get lots of tiny tiny balls the same size like for cherries or blueberries etc, what I do is roll a long thin sausage of the polymer clay and cut them into equal sized pieces and then just roll each of them up into balls. They come out evenly sized then..well it works for me anyway lol. Keep up the amazing work (I can't wait to hear what Marguerites father says about Saudi courting her! You might need to bake a wedding cake soon)

      🤯 😳 OMG! THAT IS a GREAT SUGGESTION! AND IT MAKES SO MUCH SINCE TO KEEP THE BALLS THE SAME SIZE! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I appreciate you sharing anything you may notice, that would help my process! LOL 🤣! Although I have been doing this for YEARS, I DON'T KNOW EVERYTHING! PLUS ALOT OF MY Techniques ARE CARRY OVER DEFAULTS FROM CHILD HOOD, examples Over Gluing and over waxing!😂🤣😆. I'm gonna use YOUR technique suggestion when I make food for the Dress shop kitchen ☺️ THANK YOU! Please never hesitate to share or make suggestions that may help me or improve my results! l don't know EVERYTHING and I am Always Open to LEARN when it comes to Making Miniatures! I appreciate you 😊❤️❤️❤️

    I, too, struggle with keeping to scale. While watching another mini tutorial the creator used a true to scale doll cardboard cutout w a stick attached to the back. She could stick it in the room to make sure that everything looked correct. Genius idea

    • @littlegretchensworkshop7665
      @littlegretchensworkshop7665  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is an excellent suggestion! I do use "My Dolls" in many instances, to keep me in scale. I believe the disconnect happens because my early days of miniature making was in Barbie Scale. So that used to be my default!

    I think I need to go make blueberry muffins! And maybe some biscuits too....I think they will go great with the tea. I like the decorating best too, but that doesn't necessarily mean I am good at it. I just keep going until they look okay....

    This was fun! Everything looks so edible 😋 ..Im making a soap set and it's very lil clay..Great tip on making it worth the bake. I recently was given a muffin pan from a fellow miniaturist, and told her I was gonna put a few muffins in it..so why not add some biscuits as well..right! Im giving it a go! 🥰

    Wow! I love those biscuits! I really admire the way you work. It seems like Little Gretchen is playing in the paint but the food ends up looking marvelous! I’m learning so much from you. I have air dry clay and I wonder if it will let me get similar results! Have you ever worked with the air dry clay?
    Keep up the great videos, I can’t get enough. As a beginner I have so very much to learn, and I’m excited to be able to learn from you.
    Thanks Gretchen!

    • @littlegretchensworkshop7665
      @littlegretchensworkshop7665  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much! And yes Air dry clay will give similar results, you just have to work quickly. Or just do one thing at a time and not multiple items at once, like I did. I began as child using air dry clay. You will need to pay closer attention to mixing colors and "painting techniques" to get realistic coloring. So just Play and have FUN, Each time youy make something you get better, So if you don't like it .... do it again.... and again until you are happy with your result. the main thing is to allow yourself time to grow and get better. Keep th early pieces so you can compare and see your growth! Let me know how it turns out!

    Already 102x subscribers!! Once someone hits a thousand it does seem to grow faster. Great tutorial on baked goods. have you heard of making dough with baking soda? I think i saw that somewhere. I don't know if it lasts as long as polymer clay

    • @littlegretchensworkshop7665

      Thank You! i am very excited and humbled by the growth in such a short amount of time. Regarding the craft "dough recipes" i actually never made craft dough with baking soda. But as a girl i used a recipe made of "white bread centers, glycerin or white glue and dish soap. I worked well but it was prone to cracking. Polymer clay Changed MY LIFE! LOLOLOL! PLUS the fact that it doesn't dry out and comes in so many "mixable colors" was EVERYTHING!

    • @littlegretchensworkshop7665
      @littlegretchensworkshop7665  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, I've never heard of those! Although as a little girl i used what was called " BREAD DOUGH" made the center portion of "white bread" mixed with white glue and glycerine or liquid dish. Some of my earliest Dollhouse Food was made from the Bread Dough" ! It was popular in the 70's. After polymer clay came out I never used it again. This comment made go find my old note book with the recipe (1977)! That would be fun to make some things with my old techniques and materials! Thank you for sharing!
