hi sylvia ! in my first year it was hard but a lot of the courses i had taken in highschool so it was more like a review. my grades in first year were definitely not as good as highschool, i was getting 80% avg? i hope that helps :)

I'm a software engineering student and I am studying machine learning just like u. To get approved I have to finish a team project. We need to make an algorithm that identifies breast cancer through convolutional neural networks. It's pretty hard, I'm starting to lose my mind 🥲🥲🙃 Really happy to know that you finished this chapter in your life🤍

Hi Sarah! loved the vlog!!!! i am currently in a dilemma to either join ubc science and risk getting cs after first year or go to sfu cs. sfu is a risk-free decision but I also have that inner craze about ubc and it's prestige but I feel that its too risky. did you also face the same situation, and what do you suggest?
i think the cs program is not too hard to get into at ubc and you can always applied again to the cs program after second year! and in that second year try to take the cs requirements if you can :)
for my amazon internship I did most of the blind 75 except not the dp lol! I found it hard to get started too but i just watched net code videos and did a few questions every day :) good luck!
