4 years ago you had some of the only content around on v3's. Today youtube is littered with meepo content, and yet you are still one of the only people I have seen ride the wheels off of a board, and document it along the way. Wish there was more content like yours. Bravo sir, and Bravo to your og v3 for making it this long.
Thanks for the review. I'm also looking for an upgrade soon. My old Meepo v3 has 6200km and still going. I take good care of it. Flat roads only, no gravel.
Wow! That's impressive mileage on your Meepo V3! It's clear that you've taken excellent care of it by sticking to flat roads and avoiding gravel. Taking care of your electric skateboard is essential for its longevity and optimal performance. 🤗
With just shy of 3000km on my v3, I have the most miles out of all of my friends. I generally take great care of my things, and my v3 is no exception, but I ride HARD. That poor board is on life support lol. I've often wondered who has the craziest meepo mileage/mods, as so little is posted to the internet past the initial review. I think meepo owes you are promotional board, or at least a discount ;)
@@myuhcounts4308 I absolutely love the board. The area I used to live in was perfect for longboarding. Everything was close by; school, work, stores. Didn't even need a car even though I have one. I would go down to the waterfront with a group of friends that also have boards and we'd go on night rides. My furthest ride in one day was around 30miles.. Took a few charges of course. I wonder myself sometimes if there is anyone else who has more miles ridden. I haven't done any maintenance on it. The biggest problem right now is charging. When I go to put the board on charge, the screen says its fully charged but, its obviously dead still. On some days I get lucky and for whatever reason, the board charges normally. The max speed I can reach on a full charge is about 24mph. As for distance, about 5 miles of conservative riding with no steep inclines.
I just recently ordered the 20 mile range 105mm donut wheel one I'm very excited. I recently crashed my car so this is gonna be my daily transit vehicle now.
My eboard is my main commuter, hence the high miles lol. Not having to worry about parking or insurance, and being able to bring it inside to prevent it from being stolen honestly makes it one of the best commuters.
@sagesends I can say with certainty that even after I save up for a new car imma keep e skating. I'm super excited to get back into it I just hope the weather gets nicer soon.
Quick Correction: The black and red cable is actually the diagnostic cable, not the white one. It allows you to plug the ESC directly into the charger, which will diagnose whether a dead board is a battery or ESC issue.
I go 27mph on my dads bamboo NLS pro, very comfortable at speed. I really can’t find any reason unless you’re going 30+ mph to choose a stiff maple deck. The bamboo deck is far more comfortable and pleasurable to ride. It’s the one thing I always felt lacking on my v3 was the deck. It’s just not as fun as my dads NLS pro. Cool video though man. I’ve got the new meepo Envy on the way and will be doing a review on that, it’s been a while. I remember me and you were the first guys to review the V3 back in the day 😎
good to know, I've never ridden an nls pro but I found boosteds decks to be a bit sketchy. it's fine on smooth roads but once it gets a bit bumpy it feels unstable. That being said it's not actually an issue, it's just a feeling. And yeah, i remember watching your comparison video. Cool to see you in the comments!
@@sagesends i only have like 1000mi on all of my boards combined, thats crazy. I have a lightly used set of 90mm v3 motors if you want them for your v3. And are you still driving that ls400? I used to have a 92, i loved that car
Hi bro, first of all: thank you so much for the godly review! Rn I’m living in Vancouver, it rains a lot in here. The Melpomene V3S Super it’s waterproof ?
Hi! I just got my V3S board today and it is my first electric skateboard and I love it so much already, I just have one problem, the quality of the ride regarding the wheels. It's shakes/vibrates like a mf when I go from sidewalk to roads since I live in the bigger cities in the Midwest and the roads aren't so good up here. what type of wheels would you recommend for this? Thanks for your time and I love your videos!
I mean that's just the downside of the electric skateboard platform, you're always gonna have road vibrations due to the relatively small, non-pneumatic wheels. Meepo has a 110mm upgrade kit which would improve the ride significantly over the 90mm wheels. Although that's another $190, sadly. I live in california which spends a lot of tax dollars on infrastructure so I'm lucky to have smooth roads out here.
Dude, that's so sick!!! Bummed out cause meepo has not shipped mine yet, and I ordered it like 8 days ago! How long did it take you to receive your board?
I got it quick, but I got in before the main rush. I ordered a new battery for my old v3 a few days ago and it still hasn't shipped as well so I'm guessing theyre bogged down right now with all the new releases

Woah, that's pretty damn good! Yeah the sequence of dirt and gravel riding I did can't have been good lol

Great video! I really enjoyed the informative content and how well it was presented. Keep up the fantastic work!

Meepo V3S*
It's fairly water resistant but if you ride any electric vehicle through enough water it will brick eventually.
