🎮 Doctor Robotnik's Creature Capture is a hack of Sonic the Hedgehog created by MarkeyJester. It stars Doctor Robotnik with a cameo by Sonic the Hedgehog. The objective of the hack is to play as Doctor Robotnik and try to capture as many creatures as possible by using a net to carry the creature to the creature capsule. Level select is enabled by default and almost all levels are open from the start.

Although I personally think a game featuring dr eggman or dr robotnik should be platformer/shooter since eggman is a mad scientist/ dictator who wants to help mankind but society caused him to snap

There's another Sonic 1 hack where you play as Dr. Robotnik, it's called Robotnik The Dictator in Sonic 1. You basically go through Sonic 1 as usual with all the usual moves, (including the lack of spindash) but enemies don't harm you and there are no bosses. (You just walk past the arena and break the capsule.)

When you try to put an animal into the capsule when you
this makes too much sense i was wondering why the sign was to the left but you are literally at the end of act 3. passed the sign, capturing them before sonic completes the stage.
i always thought of it as he already had everything finished and was waiting to stop sonic, but sonic is pretty fast so it would make sense if sonic was catching up while he is trying to prepare everything

Idea for sonic hack/fan game: it would be sonic 1/2 but you can control the bosses
It would probably be 2 player only (p1 being eggman and p2 being sonic) because sonic's ai would be hard to code

fyi, Eggman is faster than Sonic's "Safe Speed". Sonic never runs faster than sound, as that would cause a Sonic Boom, which in turn would harm what he treasures: Nature and animals. As a result, Sonic always holds-back his speed to keep safe and protect those who are precious to him. Because Sonic holds back speed, Eggman can out-run him. That fat Eggman runs faster than you'd think. Try in Sonic Adventure 2 hacking Eggman without his mech to be playable in City Escape, you'll see how fast he runs. Supposedly, originally Eggman was to be playable without a mech, but they changed it during development. Proof of this being a scrapped feature is that inside the code of the game, there's unused voiceclips and animations for him specifically. Speaking of unused voice clips in Sonic Adventure 2, Omochao has an unused voice clip for him, revealing that Eggman's mustache is fake.

Legend of Zelda Hyrule warriors is the only non rom hack game I know where u get to play as the bad guys (Cia and Ganondorf).

This looked fun. I wonder what it would of been like if the game did sell as Robotnik instead of Sonic. Weird. Robotnik looked real cool within the game. Maybe the should of made a Robonik game like they did Wario. Where is tells the story of Roboniks history, why he became evil. Ilove how Roboniks feet wiggles when he jumps. Thank you for the smiles.
