Knowing you weren't always a fan of your natural hair, it honestly made me really happy when you started rocking your brown hair in OOTDs. It's surprisingly powerful to know that someone you admire has insecurities and that they're overcoming them. I was so proud of you. I think your brown is gorgeous. ❤

I was just coming here to comment this, it’s not self centered or egotistical to be proud of yourself and happy with how you look, and I think making a new wig for her doll to solidify the pride of her new hair is really healthy and wholesome!!! I love how much your hairstyle varies! I never do anything more interesting with my hair than "ponytail y/n?", so it was really cool seeing all the different ways you can style those awesome curls. The poofy ponytail over loose hair was so cute, and the two squiggly top buns were somehow even cuter!

i remember watching your doll making episodes a while back when i was 13. you always had a soft tone of voice whenever you talked, with bursts of energy here and there. 3 years later you pop up in my notifications, and i immediately notice a difference. you sound super lively, almost like you're showing your true self. you're a super awesome person with amazing work and a super cool art style!!! you're definitely a staple youtuber in my life, even if i go a while without watching your content i would always remember you!
There are actually cool shorts of artists posting their OOTDs with their drawn version edited into the pic beside them! And I do see artists draw their own OOTDs, so don't feel shy about doing it!

Me myself always loved jeans and I still do but now at my 30's I have been looking more "wavy" clothing like skirts, dresses, very long T-shirts etc and being in love with lolita fashion (that started on late 20's but now even more in love). Also for long time colors has to be pink or other pastel colors, black color is totally banded from my closet!😆💕
I'm so glad you still have the passion to make content, you are the most through doll customizer while being robust and the videos are so indepth and enjoyable I hope you rest well and spend ample time with your kids now. Speaking of fashion, I just want to say a big thank you! A few years ago, some things happened in my life that caused me to re-evaluate basically everything, including my image and the way I present myself. I'd been wearing baggy black hoodies for years and I just didn't think that was who I was at all. It was seeing all the decora fashion that you shared on TH-cam and Instagram, outfits by you and other models, that gave me the inspiration to dress like me. Turns out my style is very bright, colourful and very sparkly! (clothes in the kids section are not only incredibly soft, cheap and fit great, but they're also WAY more my style haha)
So I just want to say thanks for helping me feel more comfortable dressing like my more authentic self 🩷

I’ve also had a hard time coming to love my hair lmao. The first time I saw yours actually in Uvie's video I was really excited bc it's frizzy and the curls are kinda wild ? That's how mine is and since then I’ve been more into letting it be healthy. I actually just cut 3 inches of dead ends I was scared to cut it tho bc I’ve been growing it out for two years 😭😭

I don't think it's egotistical or wrong or anything at all to draw yourself! as artists it's a healthy way to love and respect and appreciate yourself, it's really a form of self care as well as self expression I think! these are so cute, it's always nice to see your process and I love getting little treat videos inbetween the larger projects c: !!

I used to practice drawing in High School by drawing how I looked that day in the margins of whatever notes I was supposed to be taking XD don’t feel bad, it’s what we see in the mirror every day! Might as well draw it!

Aww! Toddlerlightful sighting! Also, I love how organic your fashion style is, not forced. Not only do your outfits look cool and cute, but they look comfortable and lived in so it doesn't look forced like so many people on IG.
Also, around three was when my kids stopped yanking on earrings and hair accessories fully. Around then I started feeling like me again, too. I wasn't just Mommy. They're four now, and I was able to wear dangling earrings just last night. Not a single yank or tug. Though, my daughter did admire them and touched them gently.
Also, I love this! I feel like your draw with mes are underrated. They can be soothing and eenjoyable to watch, and I adore that you explain or talk to us as you go through the process. So many artists just put music over the drawing and painting and it looses so much personality. As much as I love watching you make dolls, I know firsthand what it's like taking care of two tiny humans, too. We're your fans and followers. We can be patient, and I know I love these tidbits of art, too.
Also, totally need to make Mini Dollightful those jeans. They're so cute.
Good to know the ability to wear more accessories may be in the near future, haha. Thank you. 😆 My 2 year old is honestly pretty gentle. He just wants to put them on and wear them when he sees Mama wearing them, too. I've started wearing a couple extra bracelets and hair clips just for him to steal, lol.❤ And thank you so much for the kind words!

I’m glad to hear you’re liking your natural hair colour more! I’ve always had my natural brown hair and I really like it, despite people asking me why I don’t colour it or if I want to. I’ve always had it I suppose, so I never thought about changing it!

Great as always!! Turner Design Gouache sells neon colors in 40ml glass jars. They also had a workshop focusing mostly on their acrylic gouche at Chugye University about 2 months ago, so hopefully you can find it easily enough .

Your art is beautiful as always. I really need to sit down and learn how to draw more complex clothing designs. I am so envious of how fast and confident you are when you draw. It takes me hours to even days to finish a drawing and be pleased by what I did. However like you I am heavy handed so I usually have tons of mostly erased lines and smudges. Ah the challenges of being an artist.

You are very hard on yourself with your art!! Firstly, having yourself as an art muse is soo so important!! You should draw yourself as much as you can, because you are beautiful and it’s good to take inspiration from yourself!! Secondly, you whipped these out from nothing very quickly, it’s okay if some colors clash or you weren’t digging the pinky up, it still came out amazing and at the end of the day you are still an incredibly talented artist with tons of practice on your end!! I am inspired by your work always!!

Something I was taught in art school: if your lead keeps breaking, sharpen your pencil with the big hole. (Yk how sharpeners have 2 holes? Use the wide one.) Your pencil lead will break a lot less. Works great for colored pencils and B range drawing pencils.

I think there's nothing wrong with drawing yourself. The character of mine with the most artwork is me/the one that represents me the most. I think many people would want art of themselves. We normalized having social media acounts dedicated to ourselves just full of photos of oneself and some may think it's self centered, but others wont even bat an eye at it. Drawing yourself is like taking photos and artists have the tools to create that art they want of themselves!

As a 2002 kid, I feel you massively about getting into fashion late. I grew up with only Y2K but I hated it as a kid and now as an adult I've definitely come around but I think adult Y2K is so much different than the tween and child Y2K we ACTUALLY had like the actual fashion of the era was rough 😭 I think we have what we have now thanks to Afro-American culture more than anything LMAO but I hated fashion as a kid and now as an adult I can't pick a style I love dressing up in all kinds of ways its so fun 😫 and i would love to see you do a Pokémon from memory! Your sketch with mes are my favorite I rewatch them all the time!
Also I have brown hair and I do also love the color brown it's one of my faves so maybe this is bias but I think brown hair looks AMAZINGG with blues and pinks so you're killing it!

Gorgeous sketches Dollightful, I love your first, third & fourth drawing. I drew myself as a Ice Wizard based from Wizard 101, sometimes I give myself greenhouse outfit and bee keeper outfit, I had to add Elsa gown for my mini self but the shoes is the problem cause I used Raven Queen for my mini self customizing. I think your mini self doll looks gorgeous as she is, I don't know if you would like to try a Honey Bee fairy for spring, see you next time.
