what size sprocket and how many links did you use, i see a lot of bikes that have such a short track length and dont wanna get too short of a chain

Looks Awesome! What size is the rear sprocket? I'm about to go 19 front,16 inch rear run a Cheater Tire Knobby, 60 tooth Sprocket for massive torque. Hope it's no too low in gearing, but i figure I can always change it.. : )
@@Sherman1862 this is a real old setup of mine now i’ve changed so much so many times! But i’ve always run a 48t but currently on a 38t 👍🏻 here i was 13kw now i am 30kw and 900+ phase though!

Yes my rear was standard here, since this i’ve upgraded to a prickly 220mm rotor which is a bit thicker and takes a bit longer before it overheats!

Did you have smpro rear wheel in the past? If yes why did you change it to a milk racing?
Yes, I had sm pro’s, had milk and now WGT wheels too, ive also tested warp 9’s my new wheels are WGT (not yet on camera) and those are my favourite of the bunch.
The Milk’s are nice and light and strong enough but aesthetically nothing special.
Warp 9 and sm pro look ok but WAY too heavy and overly expensive too.
WGT aesthetically is the best of the bunch, coolest features and sets by FAR. strong thick spokes and hubs like SM pro whilst being only a touch heavier than milk and way lighter than sm pro and warp 9 whilst being milk racing prices built in the UK 👍🏻

The Hope V4 are for DH mountain bikes. There aren’t any ‘ proper name ‘ to get. Motorcycle brakes are not compatible unfortunately

Yes talaria sting has bicycle brakes. If you did not know this - maybe it will be better to have a shop fit them instead of trying to install them.
It is simple but it sounds like you would need some help.

Did you go with the hope E4 or the V4 brakes, the E4 looks like the max rotor width is 2.3 and the V4 can up to 3.3. Thanks for the awesome video keep up the good work!!
So you can use the 3.2mm rotor with the E4 or V4 brakes as they both class as tech 4.
They are called hope tech 4 E4 or hope tech 4 v4 and both the tech 4 brake systems are compatible which can confuse people.
I run the E4’s with the 3.2mm rotor and they bite plenty hard enough. I managed to get mine for a decent price and there is approx a 10% difference in peak brake power as opposed to a properly bled V4, now when trying other V4’s which had been bled by my buddies they actually performed worse as the bleed wasn’t 100% and I kept my factory bleed in mine out of the box!

I never disassembled them to fit them for this exact reason! I believe you have to use the hope specific bleed kit!

Hey bro, I just got my bac4000 for my surron and was wondering if you get a delay on the throttle, too? Stock Surron doesn't have a wait, and with bac, it does. Is it normal, or do you have no throttling lag?
I don’t have any lag anymore as I have tuned it out but took me 6 months!
You will be able to tune it out using the BACDOOR app or KILOWATT! Have a fiddle with throttle settings but if no luck, reach out to me on instagram @stingyrogerr and ill share my bro’s settings with you as he’s got a BAC4000 on his surron and the throttle is crispy!

@chrisgates2047 if youre going for upgrades and gonna spend £5k in mods then either bike is just as good. My brother has a £13000 surron he rips and it performs the sams as my bike!
I think if you wanna keep the bike stock though, the sting r is the better choice!

@ukaszcezary8870 if you are over 5ft 10 you would fit the talaria better, if you are smaller then the surron is more suitable.
If you plan on upgrades then both have the same aftermarket upgraded available.
If you plan on keeping it stock the MX4 Sting R has more power, range & better brakes and suspension!
And what about riding? Like jumps, Wheelie, turning, feeling of the bike etc?@@stingyrogerr
@ukaszcezary8870 i prefer my talaria as it is heavier and feels more stable, but for riders who want a more lightweight feeling and need to manoeuvre the bike through tight areas the surron feels a tiny bit more nimble

@ perfect! I had an mx4 and sold it recently but I’ve been looking to get a new bike and found a sick used mx3 that has a ko motor, ebmx9000 controller and 60v 53 battery. I think I might pull the trigger now 😝
If you have a look at my more recent videos my talaria is still an mx3 and set world speed record on an 82v battery! It has mx forks the biggest brakes and loads more! Don’t sleep on the mx3!
What’s the weight brother??
The bike sits at 71kg 🤘🏻 the forks and shock saved about 2kg of weight in total, the wheels are approx same as stock but the battery added 7kg! It still feels like a stock weight to me though when riding!
How much did you spend on all of that?

I used to but I dont like them as they cause too much damage, id rather the bars and stem twist slightly on the steer tube than having to replace bent bars everytime I bail off the bike.
Personal preference I guess but not for me 👍🏻

Sick except for the mtn bike forks.
Im actually running them under their max mtb pressure rating of 120psi (I run 100 psi at 140lbs) so they are perfect for me and have been reliable in the past year I’ve been riding them.
Ill ride them til they break then go to EXT as the ktm forks are too heavy for my style of riding…

@@stingyrogerr im not sure if I want 21 18 or 19 16 on my Talaria lol its driving me nuts..
19/16 fits the wheelbase length much better as the length of the bike is pretty short and 21/18 makes the bike feel too tall in my opinion, i think 21/18 needs a larger chassis like the ultra bee! they kinda look like monster wheels, because the larger sidewall on these properly fitting mx tires actually will make the 18" rear taller than the standard 19's then the 21 on the front will be more than just the 2 inches higher as the sidewall on that also increases.
