Hilarious TELLY SAVALAS and Harvey Korman Skit From "The Carol Burnett Show

Taken from The Carol Burnett Show, Season 8 - Episode 5, which aired on October 12, 1974.
Thoroughly enjoyable and and funny skit that has Telly Savalas and Harvey Korman discussing a failed business merger as if it were a love affair. Telly seems a bit unfocused at first as he's concentrating more on the cue cards, but with Harvey fully enmeshed in character, Telly, the consummate actor, soon falls into the comedic rhythm and the scene is wickedly and deliciously funny. Of course Harvey is doing his best to cause Telly to break character and bust up, and a couple of times succeeds, BUT my only regret is that the camera is never on Telly when it happens. Oh, you can hear Telly laugh, and the audience is LOVING it (cuz Telly had such a wonderfully infectious giggle), but we really only get a quick glimpse of it. until the end of the scene where Harvey causes Telly to totally lose it. Lol

About 20 years ago I was invited to my boy Habrams moms for "Thanksgiving" dinner. She stayed in the Cathedral Projects in the South End of Boston. When I walked through the front door with Habram and his brother Alex there was about 7 people already there. There was an elderly Latino lady sitting in the living room. She uttered something in spanish and everybody busted out laughing...In my confusion my boy Habram told me his grandma said I looked like Kojack...Took me awhile to come to the conclusion that she needed eyeglasses cause back then and now, I never saw it....
