8:45 Well, the map that comes with the physical edition of TW3 was created by Fabio Sachs himself, It even has his signature on the back of the physical version, so it makes sense that it exist in the game world. Fabio is the young guy who meets Ciri in Gors Velen in Time of contempt. Ciri sees in his future that he would be a famous explorer and would explore all the continent and even that new continent beyond the great sea!
The effigy is from a witcher contract in Skellige. The one where you're supposed to look for a girls groom and you have to kill a siren. The quests name is ''Here comes the groom''. This effigy is some kind of shrine I think inside the sirens cave. Hope this help! :)
@@RyanlexzYou sound dumb af but English is obviously not your first language so maybe you are just not comprehending correctly because what you are saying sounds like someone desperate to have something to hate on…. Ironically enough 😂
Yep, he got his skull bashed in. I started wondering whether the story takes inspiration from the story of Cain and Abel, because in some versions of that (more the Jewish and Muslim rather than Christian ones) it's said that Cain kills Abel by bashing him on the head with a stone, after being persuaded by the Devil. But I'm not convinced that was the intent, it's a pretty vague similarity, and I'd expect them to include more details like having the reason for the murder be jealousy, and have a similar punishment.
Olgeird didn’t wish for him to die. The man who was trapped in the “protective” circle revealed to Geralt that Vlodimirs death was a result of an indirect act from his brother. It wasn’t something he wished for, it was something that was sacrificed for him beyond his control.
@@jhonbusit’s been this long and you guys still haven’t visited the strange man cursed by O’Dimm. Honestly I didn’t even have to think about it as it’s pretty easy to assume. Witcher 3 had plenty of quests and side quests that were heavily inspired by other stories or events and some with a hint of inspiration. Yet this feels like you guys didn’t even finish the DLC yet.
As a massive fan of Arthurian Legends, I can tell you- The sword in the stone and Excalibur are not the same blades. The sword in the stone is sometimes called "Caliburn", and is given to the Lady in the Lake after Arthur takes it out of the stone and is recognized for taking it out of the stone by the people. Excalibur also is notably different to Caliburn for the fact it has a scabbard, which itself is also magical and very important in many Arthurian stories. In some stories, Caliburn is just a simple sword with no magical powers, more recognized for its importance, not for any power it may possess. I'd also like the mention that the sword Geralt gets from the Lady of the Lake, Aerondight, is similar in name to the sword "Arondight", being Lancelot's sword.
The sound of the bells in Novigrad is basically 1:1 as the sound of the bells from Dark Souls 1! I never noticed it earlier, because I haven't played DS1 yet, but now after playing it, I can confirm that the sound is exactly the same. Amazing reference that makes me love the game even more
To be honest it my not be a reference at all. I have played many games and I can confirm that there are so to say "universal" sounds. Sounds that are almost or exactly the same in different games. And well the bell's sound isn't really different from what I hear everyday at 12:00 in my town LUL But could have been inspired by Dark Souls 1 indeed
That's crazy with the white rose at Anna's death site. Blood and Wine is absolutely colossal. It's breathtakingly beautiful and may as well be called Witcher 4.
last time I played the witcher 3 was in 2021. I still wanna go back to this game. I just bought the ps5 version but have to find 200 hours + in my life to play it again.
If you liked playing it before, it's definitely worth another playthrough with the new patches, new quests, and new armor sets. I was strapped for time as well with work and obligations but, if you can fit in just one game and you're a Witcher fan, then I couldn't recommend it more. I fell in love with it all over again.
It does look kinda like Melusine. I loved when I saw her in game but wished there was more interaction with her. She's a really famous mermaid/water spirit in France, and the Starbucks mermaid was modeled after her. I knew about her before I saw her in the Witcher tho.
I have a physical copy of this game, I got it in 2019 for nintendo switch. It came with some nice stickers, the map, and a table of content explaining Gerald's history, main characters, and the races from the witcher continent. it is really cool
The devs need to sneak in a GOAT named xLetalis. It's almost certain that no Witcher player would be upset if it's the Pellar's goat you replace. You're a legend man, thank you for the content.
As a hungarian here I can confirm that "pöttöm" means very small, like I am sure you guys heard about the Andersen tale thumbelina. We call her Pöttöm Panna, or hüvelyk (thumb) panna. We use this term on a small child, small whatever living being. So diminutive is definetly the good translation for it.
In terms of the Glagolitic inscriptions reading 'dirty sl*ts' and 'mind the gap' these are commonly reused assets, I've found them throughout the game. I think the sl*ts one is meant to be on triss' house originally and the mind the gap is on sign posts as a reference to the London tube. 'Dirty sl*ts' shows up all sorts of fun places tho. I've seen it on tavern walls, tattoos, and even on the sign post of the Griggs Villiage in the fairytale illusion world. It's pretty comedic that they reuse that asset so often.
The idol at 12:00 is a tiny version of the Melusine idol from the Here Comes the Groom contract in Skellige. Recognised it almost instantly as a Gwent player, because the Melusine card reclines on it like a throne in its art.
@12:00 it's in Ard Skellig, not far from Kaer Trolde, inside a cave near the coast. It's made from ship wreck, if I remember correctly. You can access the cave and see the statue as part of a contract, so is not that hidden.
"The cake is a lie" is indeed from Portal. The villain, during the early stages of the game before outing herself as a villain, repeatedly offers cake as an incentive for completing her tests. At some point you pass through disused back areas where grafitti tells you "The cake is a lie," as a hint that the villain isn't what she appears to be. Regarding the back of Vlodimir's head, I'm pretty sure it's the wound that killed him. He mentions them "crushing his head like an egg."
Thank you so much for all these years !! I never miss one of your videos ! (Won't miss a chance to see how you still find a way to include the "sell Ciri" scene and the lesbomancy one in every single video, legend)
12:00 Refugee's Camp (Southwest Velen's signpost) [ A guy starts preaching in front of a huge statue, to a "crowd" After a while, can see a peasant praying: "Merciful Verna!". Can't remember if it's this one that I just mentioned or another abadoned site that have this same statue too, though]
It's shocking the level of detail the devs go to in things like that white rose. It's that level of detail that made me spend hours wandering around Temple Isle looking for more content because it feels like it's just so polished for there to be nothing to do...thanks for another great video!
I'm not exaggerating, I already loved the Witcher 3 and your years of videos made me love the game even more. You showed me so much I never found that each new playthrough was better than the previous. Thank you and I agree with your wife that I don't believe this is the last video. I can’t say I’ve watched all 9 years worth, but your videos have always marked the time with such enjoyable and interesting Witcher lore from the game to the books to the media. It’s been a pleasure.
17:26 LMFAO… your daughter is 9 years old? Ima guess you probably need to thank the Witcher Marketing team for all of their effort to build “EXCITEMENT” leading up to the release….. of …. The Witcher 3! Perhaps causing other releases which brings us to today… Happy BDay Witcher 3, Happy BDay Baby xLetalis! (Now toddler plus?) Honestly, I’m hoping for another 9 years of vids on the Witcher! You’ve never done us wrong. You’re a an absolute saint in my books boyo! Keep at it!
This is probably the longest I’ve put off watching a Letalis video. Only reason I haven’t watched sooner is because I think I know it all now 😂 Glad this game has someone as dedicated as xLetalis!
It was probably covered in a previous video, but i found a cool detail in my new playthrough regarding any Ending in which Nilfgaard wins the War. I went back to the Center Army Group Camp in Velen to grab screenshots for Cosplaying reference, and out of curiosity i checked out the notice board because i had collected all notices way earlier in the Game. If you go back after the Game Ending and you went through with "Reason of State", you'll notice that there is a new notice in the Garrison, an express order from Vattier de Rideaux telling all Nilfgaardian troops to avoid engaging Temerian fighters at all cost, and that if any are found ( Temerians ) in combat with Nilfgaardian soldiers, it is an act of self-defence because Temerian Guerilla Fighters will cease conflict with Nilfgaard immediately.
Regarding Heart of stone dlc and musical references. During the start of the heist question, one of the guards Infront of the auction house sings a parody version of "indigo sisters"
11:57 this is a statue of Melusine’s throne, you can find that throne in her lair in the mountains near the village of Svorlag Island in Skellige. You can also look up Melusine’s Art work from Gwent the witcher card game, the art show’s her sitting on that Throne, one of my best Gwent Artworks tbh ❤️
@@xLetalis sadly in not the artist :), but im a big skelligen deck fan for gwent card game and i love diving in all the details and lore of each character, honestly i really hope CDPR will inspire some of the cards from gwent online to use them in W4 coz it will be magnificent tbh !
16:59 Almost spat out my drink there xD @xLetalis You have probably covered this in one of your previous videos about Blood and Wine, but I think (and hope) I found a secret. When you are in the fairytale land with Syanna, after you defeat the troll high up in the clouds, there is a cave there. A wisp guids you there. At the end of the tunnel you see a dead end, but also a small campfire, not lit. When you cast Igni on it, it changes into a sword in the ground. I immediately thought of that when you talked about the Sword in the stone easter egg. I hope I'm mentioning something new :D
yup Letalis's vid led me there before the wisp was even there, or before i knew to look for it - can't remember if it wasn't there on launch day for the dlc.
I remember getting my pre-order physical copy of the game for PC and reading that thank you letter included in the case. It showed how much they respect each and every of their customers. When I saw that map, I was like, holy crap, there's going to be a LOT to explore. How right I was. The map looked awesome btw and it wasn't on a cheap paper either. I still have it and will treasure it forever. This is my favorite game of all time and I'm definitely going to replay it again from the start. Probably multiple times. I haven't got to it since I finished the Blood and Wine expansion though. I really like your videos and even if you'll put a new Witcher video up in 10 years, I'll watch it. I'll never be not interested in this game (or any Witcher game). The way you present is easy to understand, the video flows naturally and the topics are always interesting to me. Can't wait for the next one!
Absolutely crazy to think it's been 5 years since I started following you for the details I might have missed, thank you for keeping us all in the loop on these deets for the last 9 years man!
It does not mean dot or spot at all. It is a cute and kind form of the word what means tiny/little/small in hungarian but you would use it in a nice fable or in fairytale or when you tell a tale to children. We dont use it in common language often.
9 years and its still the best singleplayer game ive ever played by along shot. and you still deliver the best and most interesting videos for hardcore fans of any witcher related content. ive seen others that also have done it, but they lack something you got. I love the simplisity, the no BS approach, its rare on youtube these days. even tho you find the tiniest details we missed, your not pushing content/videos and steching content for to long like most other youtuber does. i really love that about this channel! ofc there are other things, like how i get to see Ciri get sold over and over, something i have never gotten myself to do, ever. And the Zoltan-song! Pls never stop xD ps, babtism of fire is a good book, regis is such a fantastic character in the books, no wonder blood and wine is so good =)
Hey xletalis, greetings from France, just wanted to humbly thank you for all those years. I now have a « relationship » with you, just like I have with the witcher 3 when I replay the game. The « finding an old friend again impression » I also have this thing that, English is also our common language that allows us to communicate and me enjoy your content. Happy birthday ( late I know ) to your child and I wish you nothing but good memories let to be created with your family and friends. Have a great day man. Cheers
So I've been watching your channel for a while now and just a few months ago actually started playing Witcher 3 for the first time but I didn't realize we share a "birthday" of sorts, that's really cool!
Xletails is the only person I trust with my Witcher videos, sometimes I'm stuck on some mission and have to take some hint and I make sure to look for only Xletails, because along with the run-through he also points outs easter eggs and things that I might've missed through the mission. Another things is that the fact that he's been making these videos for so long now and he still finds stuff to talk about is what motivates me to try doing things differently and trying new methods to reach a certain point, and such things make the games even more interesting.
9:40 About the bells, in Poland Its a common tradition that Churches ring their bells at 12 o'clock in almost every village or City. Dont know how it is in other countries.
Some very cute detail that i don't remember you covering although i might have just missed it). There is a very cool option in the "Out on your arse" quest if you get to it after doing the ice giant quest in Skellige - you can mention it to the guys in the Crippled Kate's and they will just leave

It is so awsome how many actually unknown details there still are left to be found and to theorise about. I really hope that the next Witcher game will continue the greatness of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, so you can continue making this kind of content for many years to come.
Man, I can't believe it's been almost ten years since Witcher 3 came out...I'm getting old. But my love for this game is stronger than ever! Thanks for another great video, xLetalis!
The statue at 11:57 is familiar to you because you saw a larger version of it in the western, southwestern direction of Velen. In one of the forests, not far from the shore with the pirates, there is a small settlement that worships a huge statue of exactly the same shape.
The musicians at/on the white rose are usually found at the large market square during the BaW quest and after the good ending. After the bad ending the square is devoid of stalls and podiums because they erected Anna Henrietta's statue. In other news: Vlodidmir calling Shani: Shani, sugarplum, ginger muffin, strawberry, rhubarb, rowan petal, peach, little robin, juicy pear, blueberry, cinderella, ever-loving tulip, and darling. Thanks for sharing xLetalis!
12:02 I believe is the statue of Melusine, you can find the same one in Contract: Here Comes the Groom (Skellige) but bigger and made out of wood or the one in the refugee camp south of the Coast of Wrecks in Velen
11:57 : that statue is resembling a idol situated at Velen, refugee camp. This also resembles a lot like Melusine, goddess of the deep. If I'm correct, both actually are the same idol. @XLetails.
Yeah, in 3:09 the chinese in the bracket translates into "the developer's beloved dog" and "the developer" is specifically in singular form, so my guess is that it belongs to a specific developer, not the whole team.
Man the Witcher 2 armour sets really were special. It's hard to describe them, but they have such a nice "wonky" character to them, they perfectly fit into the aesthetic of the second game It's also weird to think about how I remember the exact date I bought this game. In the following few months I read all the books, replayed the third game as well as the other games, and even read the comics. There will probably never be another fictional world that is as close to my heart as this one
Oh hell yea!!! Just yesterday i was doing a details missed video -binge here since starting a new playthrough and i was wondering when you will post the next time. Generally speaking, I'm usually pretty bad at consuming media when it's new, and I played TW3 for the first time during covid lockdowns. That's also when i found this channel. I gotta say that i'm so so so super happy that i got into the fandom just in time to be a part of your TH-cam community! There's no better feeling than seeing that upload notification pop up in real time and being able to watch the video freshly made! 😎 I know that logically there just must be a point in the future where every single detail has finally been found and covered, but i'm just happy that i got to come along for the ride until that point! And hopefully by then the next Witcher game will be closer to getting released, and we'll get another 9 years of xLetalis content from that! Kudos to you man for keeping the Witcher community alive. We love you! 🖤⚔️
Thank you for all your awesome W3 videos! I have seen most, if not all of them over the last couple years, and have made my last 2 or 3 playthroughs even more rewarding (after so many times through the story, the little things really help keep it fresh)
12:00 this statue is from a Refugee Camp in western Velen You initially need to clear it from "rebels", as it is a "abandonet settlement" type of location
(11:53) The effigy resembles a statue in Velen around which a bunch of people are praying to what seems to be another cult. It can be found under fast travel marker - refugees camp, east of Midcopse. As for the magic cake, there are references to that in Cyberpunk too, during the Delamain quest in Pacifica
My gosh has it been a pleasure watching all of the Witcher details videos, on that note i have a curiosity which is probably not worth mentioning on its own but I am just interested whether people know about it or not. I have found a cave with a bear statue and glagolitic inscriptions in Skellige under a house, an enterence trough a trapdoor. When you go down said trapdoor you enter a cave and can head down to the statue, on the right there is what looks like another way in/out however it is not, it is just a fake exit however you CAN climb it by rolling and jumping. It is actually pretty easy and you just end up on a giant rock under the map. I think the cave is used in a questline which i never chose but I found it interesting that you could just stumble upon it if you go looting. Another thing I found is again more of a glitch but a rather new one as it has to do with the new tower portal thing in the south of the map that was added in the next gen edition. I killed all the wraiths using piercing cold so I could explore. Usually there is nothing to do and you just take the portal back and it disappears. However if you stand on the rubble in the doorway you end up out of bounds, meaning if you stay there you can choose to fast travel out without using the portal, once I even ended up just exiting the fast travel and I found myself beside the tower. Thats all from me, you have no idea how much more I love the game because of your videos, can't wait for the new games and your videos on them!
I wanna say that effigy in the vault is a miniature version of the one you find in the underwater drowner cave from the contract quest Muire D'yaeblen in Skellige (the one you need to use Drowner's Pheromones to draw out the Water Hag).

@@Ryanlexzthe channel is desperate because they make content about a game they love? What ass backwards logic 😂
@@Ryanlexz it's negative to point out interesting things people have missed while playing the game? Are you stupid or trolling?
@@Ryanlexzbot response
8:45 Well, the map that comes with the physical edition of TW3 was created by Fabio Sachs himself, It even has his signature on the back of the physical version, so it makes sense that it exist in the game world.
Fabio is the young guy who meets Ciri in Gors Velen in Time of contempt. Ciri sees in his future that he would be a famous explorer and would explore all the continent and even that new continent beyond the great sea!
holy shit i had no idea about this, that is an awesome easter egg hahaha, i love it
no way this is SOO COOL
Should have done this ages ago. Thanks for all the fantastic Witcher 3 content over the years!
Hey man, thank you very much
The effigy is from a witcher contract in Skellige. The one where you're supposed to look for a girls groom and you have to kill a siren. The quests name is ''Here comes the groom''. This effigy is some kind of shrine I think inside the sirens cave. Hope this help! :)
You can also find a very large one in the Refugee Camp in western Velen
@@alexwang350 south west if I remember, around the cannibals
Isn't that the Melusine shrine
@@RyanlexzYou sound dumb af but English is obviously not your first language so maybe you are just not comprehending correctly because what you are saying sounds like someone desperate to have something to hate on…. Ironically enough 😂
@@Ryanlexzhuh? You are not making any sense?
That scar on Vlodimir's head is probably from how he got killed after Olgierd wished that his brother died
I've been a member on the channel for almost a third of Witcher 3's life
Here's to another decade of Witcher content dude!
most appreciated!
As a massive fan of Arthurian Legends, I can tell you-
The sword in the stone and Excalibur are not the same blades.
I'd also like the mention that the sword Geralt gets from the Lady of the Lake, Aerondight, is similar in name to the sword "Arondight", being Lancelot's sword.
thank you for the insight :)
@@xLetaliswait doesn’t this mean that the car in cyberpunk is a reference to the sword in the stone?
Can’t believe it’s been 9 years 🖤
The sound of the bells in Novigrad is basically 1:1 as the sound of the bells from Dark Souls 1! I never noticed it earlier, because I haven't played DS1 yet, but now after playing it, I can confirm that the sound is exactly the same. Amazing reference that makes me love the game even more
I should try dark souls
To be honest it my not be a reference at all. I have played many games and I can confirm that there are so to say "universal" sounds. Sounds that are almost or exactly the same in different games. And well the bell's sound isn't really different from what I hear everyday at 12:00 in my town LUL But could have been inspired by Dark Souls 1 indeed
@@gaborkallai2112 yeah, I might have gotten too excited about it, but I guess we'll never know for sure
@@xLetalis Yes.
@@gaborkallai2112yeah same for movies they use the same sound effects for a lot of things
Just take it an hour at a time. The ps5 version made me relive the magic all over again.
If you liked playing it before, it's definitely worth another playthrough with the new patches, new quests, and new armor sets. I was strapped for time as well with work and obligations but, if you can fit in just one game and you're a Witcher fan, then I couldn't recommend it more. I fell in love with it all over again.
The effigy is Melosine, I think from one of the Skelliga quests
I thought it was Valkyre Helmet from GoW
@@ravioth Hearts of Stone came out 3 years before GoW 4
Also seen in Velen near the west, near those pirate camps. I think its got a way marker called refuge camp?
It does look kinda like Melusine. I loved when I saw her in game but wished there was more interaction with her. She's a really famous mermaid/water spirit in France, and the Starbucks mermaid was modeled after her. I knew about her before I saw her in the Witcher tho.
for me it looked similar to the plage manifestations on Pathologic 2
I have a physical copy of this game, I got it in 2019 for nintendo switch. It came with some nice stickers, the map, and a table of content explaining Gerald's history, main characters, and the races from the witcher continent. it is really cool
Watching your details missed videos is like seeing an old friend, always appreciate the uploads 🫶
Was looking for this comment. XD
Pöttöm is a playful and kind name given to small dogs, or also can be a nickname to a small child.
@@skieinc Its a good sight to see some fellow countrymen no?
Less than a year before the 10th anniversary holy f*ck
Thanks! Love your content. Glad to see you post more W3 vids.
The pleasure has been mine
Witcher 3 is like an old friend you talk to again after ages and its like not a day has passed
The lesbomancy dwarf is just great, the way he pauses and delivers the line, perfection.
@12:00 it's in Ard Skellig, not far from Kaer Trolde, inside a cave near the coast. It's made from ship wreck, if I remember correctly. You can access the cave and see the statue as part of a contract, so is not that hidden.
Yeah, it's the Melusine shrime I think.
Wasn't Melusine on Spikeroog though? That's where Udalryk is the Jarl.
Its the Water Hag and muire dyaebl den that is near Kaer Trolde
The statue is also in Velen, and its pretty big. There are bandits there, and once you clear them there will be people there, praying to the statue
5:25. THIS! I would never skip this type of a ad. :) Keep up the good work. Greetings from Czech republic
First you will be baked then there will be cake
Where in any mass effect game do they reference this? I couldn;t find anything.
It’s not about “outing” as a villain, it’s before the plot twist tho
Thank you so much for all these years !! I never miss one of your videos ! (Won't miss a chance to see how you still find a way to include the "sell Ciri" scene and the lesbomancy one in every single video, legend)

[ A guy starts preaching in front of a huge statue, to a "crowd" After a while, can see a peasant praying: "Merciful Verna!".
On the 9th year anniversary, im going for my 40th playthrough 😂🤣 can't get enough of the details.
I'm not exaggerating, I already loved the Witcher 3 and your years of videos made me love the game even more. You showed me so much I never found that each new playthrough was better than the previous. Thank you and I agree with your wife that I don't believe this is the last video. Make the 10th anniversary video special ....and then come back strong for Witcher 4. You've done such an incredible service for Witcher 3 fans that you're already at the TOP of my list as a Witcher 4 guide. I truly look forward to it.

Keep at it!
12:04 that honestly look an awful lot like a statue of Cthulhu to me.
i've been playing this game for years and never knew there was a map either til i got gifted the game on the switch, ur not alone bro
This is probably the longest I’ve put off watching a Letalis video. Only reason I haven’t watched sooner is because I think I know it all now 😂 Glad this game has someone as dedicated as xLetalis!
Oh wow Letal, things we didn't know about the Witcher 3? Real original...I remember watching this exact same video about 7 years ag- oh...
Happy anniversary Letalis, it's been so many years, thanks for everything! We love you!
11:57 Drowners contract in Skellige perhaps?
Yes, I think that's it
Yes, Melusine's altar.
Master Mirror found his way to Nilfgaard ... 😂 Treat others the way you want to be treated. They will mirror your behaviour.
I think I've seen this but haven't mentioned it in a video
Regarding Heart of stone dlc and musical references. During the start of the heist question, one of the guards Infront of the auction house sings a parody version of "indigo sisters"
11:57 this is a statue of Melusine’s throne, you can find that throne in her lair in the mountains near the village of Svorlag Island in Skellige.
You can also look up Melusine’s Art work from Gwent the witcher card game, the art show’s her sitting on that Throne, one of my best Gwent Artworks tbh ❤️
that's exactly it :) Did you draw it? :O
@@xLetalis sadly in not the artist :), but im a big skelligen deck fan for gwent card game and i love diving in all the details and lore of each character, honestly i really hope CDPR will inspire some of the cards from gwent online to use them in W4 coz it will be magnificent tbh !
16:59 Almost spat out my drink there xD
@xLetalis
You have probably covered this in one of your previous videos about Blood and Wine, but I think (and hope) I found a secret.
:D I believe I have covered it before, I think it was a dark souls easter egg too
yup Letalis's vid led me there before the wisp was even there, or before i knew to look for it - can't remember if it wasn't there on launch day for the dlc.
Can't wait for the details you missed the movie for the 10 years anniversary of the witcher 3
Absolutely crazy to think it's been 5 years since I started following you for the details I might have missed, thank you for keeping us all in the loop on these deets for the last 9 years man!
“Spot” is a common name for dogs, in America at least, so Pöttöm meaning “dot” could also translate to Spot in a way.
Pöttöm means tiny/small.

@@akosszondy2916 Tiny is also a common dog’s name. 😂

It does not mean dot or spot at all. It is a cute and kind form of the word what means tiny/little/small in hungarian but you would use it in a nice fable or in fairytale or when you tell a tale to children. We dont use it in common language often.

Man, it seems like yesterday i discovered your channel! Congrats on 9 years man, here's to 9 more!
That was an amazing video. I've recently been listening to the audio books and finally playing the second game in preparation to replay the third.
Pls never stop xD
ps, babtism of fire is a good book, regis is such a fantastic character in the books, no wonder blood and wine is so good =)
Just replayed the game with new mods. What a coincidence that you post a new video just as I have finished it!
No way your still doing this series im genuinely shocked your still finding things great videi as always.
xLetalis and The Witcher 3, the gift that keeps on giving.
Another one where I didn't know most of those!
Hey xletalis, greetings from France, just wanted to humbly thank you for all those years. I now have a « relationship » with you, just like I have with the witcher 3 when I replay the game. The « finding an old friend again impression »
I also have this thing that, English is also our common language that allows us to communicate and me enjoy your content. Happy birthday ( late I know ) to your child and I wish you nothing but good memories let to be created with your family and friends.
Have a great day man.
Cheers
Hey and thank you for the kind comment
So I've been watching your channel for a while now and just a few months ago actually started playing Witcher 3 for the first time but I didn't realize we share a "birthday" of sorts, that's really cool!
11:57 I think that's Melusine the ekhidna from Skellige, appearing in the contract "Here comes the groom".
It's Incredible that you didn't run out of Material to cover. Is there no chance for you to run dry or starting to repeat yourself?
Props to the People who still bring some overlooked things up!
I stopped doing that a long while ago.
Yet you're still here, and your contributions are well remembered :)
@@xLetalis Thanks a lot! It's not that i didn't considered a Membership, but there are just not enough regular uploads to justify it in my mind.
Still, It's Quality over Quantity.
There are more than enough TH-camrs who constantly make Vids with stupid Titles, create there own Brand and so on.
Also, thanks for sparing us from talking about Legends of Shadow Raids or whatever ;)
Another excellent work , i missed all those things

Time does truly fly. My daughter is ten tomorrow, circa 1.26am. I don't know if I'm imagining it or not, but I seem to remember you mentioning that she was four years old. Mind you, I've watched so many of your videos. I couldn't say which video it happened in.
I'm pleased to hear that there is another video planned. Hopefully soon?
Take care, and be productive. 😀😀😀❤️😀😀😀
I wish her all the best! And I hope to keep the productivity up as well
@xLetalis Thank you, kind sir. Your good wishes will be well received in the morning, I'm certain. Sh's been watching your gameplay/walk through with me. Mainly so that I can censor any sexual content. I've definitely taught her well as she loves Witcher and Lord of the Rings. 😀❤️😀
It is so awsome how many actually unknown details there still are left to be found and to theorise about. I really hope that the next Witcher game will continue the greatness of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, so you can continue making this kind of content for many years to come.
I'm literally playing Witcher 3 again today lol. This gane will always be special for me. Thanks for your work in making all these videos!
12:02 I believe is the statue of Melusine, you can find the same one in Contract: Here Comes the Groom (Skellige) but bigger and made out of wood or the one in the refugee camp south of the Coast of Wrecks in Velen
indeed!
11:57 : that statue is resembling a idol situated at Velen, refugee camp. This also resembles a lot like Melusine, goddess of the deep. If I'm correct, both actually are the same idol. @XLetails.
Another oerfect example of why I love your videos so much. Thank you for this and I hope you are doing well.
Pöttöm is literally just a cute name for a dog.
Pöttöm is something like small, like a little smurf.
You never fail to disappoint with these details letalis seriously thank you for the still ongoing content for my all time favorite game!
Yeah, in 3:09 the chinese in the bracket translates into "the developer's beloved dog"
and "the developer" is specifically in singular form, so my guess is that it belongs to a specific developer, not the whole team.
12:03 The effigy is in the Refugee's Camp in Velen, which is an abandoned site you can liberate.
Thank you for untold hours of amazing facts and wonderful stories!
I feel so lonely at Kear Morhen
After finishing the game.
There is nobody left 😢.
I feel it so deeply. I don't know why
Man the Witcher 2 armour sets really were special. It's hard to describe them, but they have such a nice "wonky" character to them, they perfectly fit into the aesthetic of the second game
It's also weird to think about how I remember the exact date I bought this game. In the following few months I read all the books, replayed the third game as well as the other games, and even read the comics. There will probably never be another fictional world that is as close to my heart as this one
Witcher 2 armors should have been included in witcher 3
They look so cool
YESSS I am so stoked for another “what you missed” witcher vid. Thanks XLetalis 💗💗💗
It’s not just “the developer’s dog”
It’s “the developer’s *beloved* dog”
Oh hell yea!!! Just yesterday i was doing a details missed video -binge here since starting a new playthrough and i was wondering when you will post the next time. Generally speaking, I'm usually pretty bad at consuming media when it's new, and I played TW3 for the first time during covid lockdowns. That's also when i found this channel. I gotta say that i'm so so so super happy that i got into the fandom just in time to be a part of your TH-cam community! There's no better feeling than seeing that upload notification pop up in real time and being able to watch the video freshly made! 😎
I know that logically there just must be a point in the future where every single detail has finally been found and covered, but i'm just happy that i got to come along for the ride until that point! And hopefully by then the next Witcher game will be closer to getting released, and we'll get another 9 years of xLetalis content from that! Kudos to you man for keeping the Witcher community alive. We love you! 🖤⚔️
Kylo Ren: "MORE!!!!"
Me: "Holy cow we are at almost 10 years from this gem."
Thank you for all your awesome W3 videos! I have seen most, if not all of them over the last couple years, and have made my last 2 or 3 playthroughs even more rewarding (after so many times through the story, the little things really help keep it fresh)
12:00 this statue is from a Refugee Camp in western Velen
You initially need to clear it from "rebels", as it is a "abandonet settlement" type of location
Been enjoying your content since Corona virus.
Good to hear you again man!
I wanna say that effigy in the vault is a miniature version of the one you find in the underwater drowner cave from the contract quest Muire D'yaeblen in Skellige (the one you need to use Drowner's Pheromones to draw out the Water Hag).
at 11:57. I'm pretty sure that's a smaller version of the altar to melusine you see in the Here Comes the Groom contract in Skellige
