Thank you for this, I’ve had a malossi big bore and Camshaft laying about, for about 4 years so just decided to do it while watching this video and it made it so easy for me so thank you
What do I need to look up to buy that slide hammer attachment lol I see “hook” attachments on Amazon but they don’t have the space in the middle like yours does to grab the bolt.
By maintaining the same 125cc head, the compression ratio increases from 10: 1 to 11: 1 so the engine will also have more force or torque. On the other hand, the power will be the result of the increase in displacement, camshaft, greater contribution of gasoline + air and exhaust.
Great!! I'm about to start the same job too. I replace the old cylinder (and head), with a 59 mm one. Can I ask you where did you find the increased injector? Have you replaced the control unit? You will be a great help to me. Thank you.
Paul M hey to answer that question its my zuma that he worked on. top speed is 67 but with extra other upgrades to transmission case. its good i love it and it keeps up with traffic in the city.
yeah I had to cut out a lot of stuff because the video would of been way to long its like any engine, rings go in a certain direction, certain order and gaps need to be staggered a certain way. All of this is in the service manual, and should be pretty much the same for any 4 stroke small engine wont be too hard to google search it. If you order the big bore from rc scooters they will install the rings and the piston into the cylinder for you when they ship it. So it does save you some work because it can be hard to pinch the rings with your fingers and carefully slide it into the cylinder and hope not to break them all covered in oil
you don't need an impact, but you will need to keep it from spinning to remove which is hard to do so its way easier with an impact plus when you go tighten it back on, I used a very small impact drill again because its easier to tighten Don't use the large impact gun I removed it with because you don't want to strip it.
Dude - totaly needed this. Im doing the RC158 BBK series now. THANKS!

Where did you get the larger injector from?
Where can I find the fuel rail from?

What city are you located in? I could use an upgrade like this on my scooter as well.
I couldn’t stand it! After watching this video like 10 times, I ordered the 158r bbk from rcscooters.com thanks for the great how-to video!
How’d that kit work out for you? I’m thinking about getting soon.

hey you can buy the parts from rcscooters.com reliable vendor for the zuma 125
My Zuma 125 exhaust valves got the leaking problem, without enough compression
pressure to start. Still don't know what caused the valves leaking.
Great video. Thanks for sharing :) It's been a while, since the upgrade, how have you been enjoying it? speed? Power? how is it?

Did mine and air is coming from my air intake instead of creating a vacuum

Great video! Can I ask you what kind of tyre do you mount? I mean which brand! Thank you:)

Hi :
At 6:48, Is it counterclockwise to remove this bolt ?
Is there any way to remove this bolt without the impact wrench ?
you don't need an impact, but you will need to keep it from spinning to remove which is hard to do
so its way easier with an impact
plus when you go tighten it back on, I used a very small impact drill again because its easier to tighten
Don't use the large impact gun I removed it with because you don't want to strip it.

Why buy something small and try to make it fast? Why not just buy something a little bit bigger?
Why buy a fast car and make it faster? Why buy a slow car and make it fast? Small bore bikes going stupid fast is fun.
