The prologue section of the game is less demanding and offers better performance, but things get more challenging once you reach the grasslands (the open-world area). I’ve created optimized settings that balance quality and performance, ensuring a smooth 60 FPS experience at both 1080p and 1440p resolutions. I recommend using DLSS in quality mode because it offers sharper image quality compared to the native resolution, which looks softer due to TAA. For 8GB VRAM cards, using ultra textures can significantly impact performance due to VRAM limitations. So, I strongly recommend using medium textures. If you find my work helpful, please don’t forget to like the video and subscribe to the channel. Thanks for your support!
Actually if you keep DLSS on as anti-aliasing method and set the min and max to 100%, this is the same as DLAA which is better than TAA + TAAU and is a native resolution. Instead of upscaling, the AI is just handling the anti-aliasing only. And it will look better than DLSS Quality.
As an owner of a gaming laptop with a RTX 4060 Laptop GPU, this makes me happy. I know that the FPS difference between the laptop RTX4060 and desktop RTX4060 isn't that much

You can always use frame gen on the 16GB RTX 4060Ti to lessen or altogether remove CPU bottlenecks. (I'm not sure if this game has frame gen though). I have the 8GB variant, so I am always hesitant when turning on frame gen as I fear VRAM spillage and worse performance than without frame gen. @@thunderjawgaming I only spoke from my experience. I've tried using framegen in multiple games while having them on high/ultra settings and the VRAM always spill. Cyberpunk 2077 with ultra settings, raytraced reflections (only), WITH DLSS QUALITY, on 1080p uses just under 8GB VRAM. Turning framegen on increases the VRAM usage and then it starts to spill into RAM. And in due course the game becomes unplayable. Same goes for Horizon games (HZD Remastered and HFW); even though those games do not have raytracing, on 1080p + very high settings they use more than 8GB VRAM. Turning framegen on only worsens the playing experience. But if you play games in a mix of high/medium settings to keep VRAM under control and then turn framegen on, I see your point.
Ty karan, after updating my 1650 laptop to the 4060 now i can play everything without even thinking. Also, do you know how to reduce the screen tearing in ff 16 with fg?

Because the card only has 8gb of Vram, the higher the resolution the more Vram it uses. playing at 1080p allocated just enough resources to use better textures.
