It started as minor stomach discomfort while I was at work. Ended up with me not eating anything solid for 24 hrs and me throwing up 8 times and using the restroom nearly non stop for 36 hrs. Brutal on the body. My stomach muscles are exhausted from throwing up. My throat is very sore from the stomach acid. Overall a nightmare of a condition. I feel especially bad for the young and old that have to experience it. I debated going to the hospital when I couldn’t stop vomiting, but the vomiting finally stopped after 12 intense hrs. Still using the toilet however 36 hrs later

I’ve had it for 6 days now. The constant vomit is gone but still constant nausea is there and puke 1-2 times per morning and can’t eat more than 3-400cal a day
One of those viruses just about finished me off one night. I was 37 and have never been more sick than that night back in ‘09.

This fucking sucks. I just recovered from it and I really wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. It legit feels like you're dying. Debilitating cramps, constant bathroom trips that either pass total liquid or NOTHING AT ALL, insane projectile throwing up, stiff stomach, lethargy, UGH. Fucking terrible.

@@emelybaquedano2764 Assuming it's bacterial since I was prescribed antibiotics. But the worst of it seems to be over (for now). I'm on day 5 of meds, however, and while the pain has subsided I still feel pretty gross.
Damn I got viral infection, lying on the bed, running to toilet every one hour.

@@9902624504 I’ve gotten over it partially. I had to go back and forth from the doctors and even had a trip to a&e as I would randomly get insanely painful diarrhoea. I’ve been out on medication and slowly but surely getting better. However my stomach hasn’t felt the same since I had this 3 months ago and sadly I don’t think it will. This virus is absolutely crazy if you get a bad strain of it. Hands down one of the worst things I’ve ever had to go through. To be honest as weird as it sounds but I think this virus may have triggered ibs. I’ve never suffered from anything like that before but it’s been ongoing ever since July

I got it the second time in my Life yesterday. First symptoms are Nausea and heart burn and lack of energy. Then i started Vomiting. After that I feel the acid building up and an hour later vomiting again. After Vomiting 7-8 times all night you get to the point where you have no energy and your skin becomes sensitive to touch. The acid in your chest is a constant annoyance and I developed a temperature but that went away after a few hours. I also had a bad headache which i assume was caused by dehydration. It became painfull to urinate and it was dark yellow.
Today 30 hours later the vomiting has gone to be replaced with frequent trips to the toilet with diarrhoea. I'm sitting up and eating and drinking now so I'm definitely on the mend, though I have low energy levels and my tummy is constantly gurgling away..
Lucky you. I'm 45 years old and would get a stomach virus at least once per year (since I was a kid) until about three years ago. The worst one, was when I vomited every 30 minutes for six hours straight.

i was in the hospital throwing up straight stomach acid for 12 hours. today is day five and i can eat in small amounts. vomiting has stopped but diarrhea is worse and i still feel nauseous all the time. i hope this ends soon I am miserable.

First i started having diarrhea 2 times in morning (early) even more midday,then i started feeling pain in my belly whenever i try to stand up or sit straight (im writing this lying down) last night i woke up vomitting 8 times or more.Today,im only experiencing diarrhea,going to the doctor today;wish me luck.

My "stomach flu" lasts for 6 wks. Really strange symptoms, sore throat, diarrhoea, no energy, no appetite, sweats, comes and goes until you feel not human.
6 weeks is a long time! Unless you're reinfecting 3 times, I suspect something else could be causing your issues... I'm no doctor, but I might suggest having some tests run if possible. Maybe an ultrasound to check colon and gallbladder health, endoscopy and colonoscopy to check structural soundness from both ends. Could be anything, and I know the medical system - ehh. Best of luck to you, hope you are able to figure something out or that your symptoms have retreated by now.
@@terrapinflyer273 it can also be diverticilitus, inflammation of the pouches of the intestine. Sometimes we have to be our own doctor. This condition was mentioned by GP. Thank you !!

It can also be a condition called diverticiltus, inflammation of the pouches of the intestine. Diet is very important. Rice and veg only for few days. No dairy or sugar. Antibiotics dont work. It eventually burns itself out.

Every 30 minutes I had to go to the toilet….it was like water! didn’t want to wake my gf up so I’m sitting there on the cold bathroom floor shaking with a flu and all of a sudden I start puking…. Aimed it at the basin whilst my trousers are round my ankles and proceed to shit and puke at the same time…. I literally had to scoop the puke out of the drain and it was all black like tar…. My God, went to bed fine, spent all day sleeping and shitting and drinking.
I’ve not eaten for 13 days and had diarrhea for 2 weeks and now I have nausea, I feel rotten.

I've had it before, I'm a type 1 diabetic, and was sent to the hospital and stayed for 2 night, 3 days overall. 1 years later I've been getting these symptoms of dry mouth feeling really sick and shaky. I even dry heave now and again. My other symptoms is feeling really tired (majority of the time is because my sleep pattern is awful).
The thing is I haven't vomited yet. Bcos last year I was really bad loke vomiting over 50 times in a span of a few hours in a day.
Recently like the symptomd I've mentioned has been bothering me since October. I've been to the hospital got my bloods done and got flushed out cos of acid in the blood. But it's not fixed the problem. Maybe because I've been snacking so so much every night and when I sleep my stomach is digesting when it shouldn't be.
Need help. I also have loose stools. I get them now and then when I'm not feeling all the other symptoms too.

it's so weird how last time I had gastro i felt sick but just had the runs and now this time around ive had no sleep i feel like complete ass but its just vomiting and no runs.
Guess it's down to different viruses doing different things probably producing different toxins but im just a guy hugging his bucket here XD
ended up speaking to my doctor waiting for a call back but advised il probably be prescribed an anti sickness drug because ive thrown up 5 times and each time i go to throw up it isn't once its 3-4 till i just dry heave and 2 mins later BAM feel like imma barf again havent slept since I woke up sunday morning unless you count just falling asleep to instantly wake up and feel like shit again

I recently got it for eating in a very unhealthy place, I don't wish this shit for anyone....The night before I was pretty normal and welll the next morning it started, the pain in the bones and articulations, the nausea, the diahrea, you don't have energy or the willing to do anything, I had to change underware constantly when I fell asleep, and the permanent headache for the dehydration.
People be very carefull where you eat.

Hang in there! I had the stomach flu back in 2017 and was probably the worst sickness I've experienced. Hated it. Started off as a simple irritation in my nose, and then when i was trying to sleep all of a sudden I just needed to throw up. It was real bad, had severe chills and dealt with loose stool for a good 3-4 days from what i remember and took me a good 8-10 days to fully recover from day 1 as far as i remember.

Yesterday I was microwaving a burger (I woudnt recommend them) and needed to go to the toilet and in a rush forgot to wash my hands to get my food out the microwave… and ever since that stupid decision all my liquids and solids have came straight back up literally like a fucking cannon out my mouth and the other end isn’t well either. This feels horrible. I suspect I got it from eating takeout, I got a bread bowl, with seemingly spoiled soup of the day.
It started with a stuffy nose, and then with a lingering pain on the left side of my pelvic. A few hours later, I had a huge stomach ache.
Now, my stomach feels normal most of the time, but at random intervals my stomach decides to cramp up, cramp up like, curl into a ball cramps. Fortunately, my nose never got stuffy again. I haven’t vomited yet, but I keep gagging. I can’t drink cold water because my stomach is too sensitive.
I drank lots of Yakult before I knew what I had, probiotics too. I don’t know why I got a stuffy nose, it’s not one of the symptoms. Maybe I had an allergic reaction to something in the soup?
I’m very confused, and I want to know what happened.
