I'm not saying yes or no to being a sleep when we die, but in the new Testament, when the rich man was in hades, he called out over the chasim to Abraham, who was in paradise and asked to send Lazarus back to earth to warn his family. This parable Jesus told insinuates that the rich man and Abraham were not asleep. But this was before Jesus was resurrected, I don't know if this changes things??

Satan doesn't want anyone to know all that he is doing behind the curtain. Whatever he do people will blame God. Satan and his demon are real. I have experience and see them. In a way to say it, they’ve already chosen their ways, he’s simply giving them over to it. Now as for Godly doctrine and theology. Yes, we’ll all get things wrong, but it’s because of our own desires or even ego. Nobody likes being wrong. There’s just one thing we must agree on. Jesus is who is and that he will return. You can get those two things simply by reading. Don’t actually need a sermon for it, and sometimes preachers confuse people on these two things. Just read it and take it for what it says 👍

good stories, but didn't seem to share as much as I'd like about dealing with demons caution. You should test the spirits, but this is not the specific Biblical test we are told to do. It is good to say "in the name of Jesus" first, as it should ensure they aren't able to lie to you notes from my understanding, don't dabble in things like seances, occult, ouiji board, reiki, tarot cards, dream weavers, horoscopes, psychics, satanism, wicca, etc. When you dabble or get involved with such things, you can open the door to the devil. The gist is that mankind was given authority over the earth, and we gave it up to satan when we sinned. However we still have a say in what we allow into the world, either things of God, or things of the devil. A lot of this can come through our words, what we agree / allow/ give permission to. Hence, the devil will try to trick you to use your words to allow him access to you, your life, or your family. That can come in the form of the devil/demons disguising themselves as helpful, friendly, familiar spirits. Pretending to be dead ancestors or family members. Or like a lot of media, where things like games and anime pretend there's such a thing as a "good" demon, or "good"/white magic/witchcraft. Or many games/movies/media/entertainment that try to make it cool/ trandy/ popular/ or seem good to be a witch, or making pacts with spirits. All this is to try to influence your brain to think "oh, this is a good thing" so that if they one day come into your life, you've been primed to defaultly think and assume there could be 'good' demons or that tying yourself to spirits is a good thing. Which, since they are demons in disguise, is not a good thing. The only spirit, other than our own, we seem to be allowed to combine with is Holy Spirit, and potentially our one spouse. So, some good scriptural precautions to be aware of.

Then our lord Jesus Christ responded that it’s written men should not only live for bread but the word of God. No holy cross woe! Did not God send Serpents to Israel for their complaining in the desert? What did God tell Moses to do? Make cross with the serpent on it. Those that look upon it will be healed by faith and belief. Their are relics that can be Holy as their are relics that carry curses. They're several examples if such relics in our fathers word. The staff of Moses. Elijahs coat. Their several relics that are Holy in our Fathers word. Becareful of men that tell you you don't need this or that. Always seek God First, then His word. Jesus's sheep hear his voice. Trust his voice and pray that it guides you.
