People tend to dislike shorts creators because of the lack of any real osu content aside from it, which imo is a really backwards way of thinking and not at all how algorithms work, but it is what it is, 99% of people don’t get it.
I don’t really have a problem with osu short form creators, except one thing: from the few interactions I had with shorts creators (not seif in particular) they seemed to (at least to me personally) have a really high ego, even in situations when some of them were subjected to some semi-valid criticisms I remember seeing a bunch of shorts creators pile up on someone on twitter making incredibly dumb arguments as defence. Don’t remember any bad interactions with seif in particular but in general people view osu shorts creators as one singular entity💀 so bad interactions with others also impact Seif’s reputation in people’s eyes.
Hopefully Seif gets through his mental hurdles tho, speaking from experience it really takes surprisingly a lot of mental hurdles to stop caring what nameless individuals think of you on the internet❤ not a fan of shorts since I view it as incredibly low effort content(even though I also abused short form videos even when shorts weren’t a thing) but if it fills a niche it does it’s job and that’s fine.
