Wow. That WORKED. I installed a brand new fan and it wobbled. The user's instructions had nothing on "how to balance" but a balancing kit was in the box. I didn't even know what that kit was, until I watched Del Mar's video on this point. THANK YOU.

Bin sehr zufrieden und möchte Thank You for this video sagen. Beste Grüße von Peter aus MV (Germany)

Thank you. The fan I have does not have blades at unequal distance from the ceiling, nor bendable arms, but that wobble is there. I think this video is one of the better ones for showing the best way to use the weight balancing kit. Thank you.

Thank you so much, I bought one with 5 blades and it worked fine at once, so I bought a second one and the wobbling became an obsession till I came to watch your video, simple, clear...you deserve an Oscar from the "Fan" Club.

Another tip is to measure the distance of each blade from the ceiling to the the blade tip. If one or more is different grasp the metal arm and bend it accordingly. That helped immensely on my fan.

Thanks for the info!! though, I can't measure each blade as the ceiling slopes. (from the previous comment) I will try measuring from the same spot on the ceiling to see if that works to find if some of the blades might be sagging. Our blades are hardwood and highly curved so I doubt they would sag much.

+Chris Rodriguez You're the best! I had one on a potato chip bag clips around so I borrowed it to at least see if I could do some fan balancing. It worked. Now I will wait for the magnet and put it in the same spot (inner part of blade).

Only thing I want to know is, does it matter if the clip's on the leading or trailing edge of the blade? Also you want the fan direction counter clockwise correct?
