I got this last week and so far everything seems to work great. My night vision is clear, more brighter and wider than what's shown on your cam but I love it.
Night vision looks good, but the lenses aren't wide angle enough for me. I'd have to point both cameras inward and use a camera that I already own to look forward at the road. And I'm not sure about the audio. Not sure you can make out what riders are saying clearly. Thanks for reviewing so we can make our own call. Uber on, brother man.
I agree. The lenses need to be much wider to make me happy.
Optical zoom would be nice, I'd like to zoom in on the back window to get more detail of what's behind the car.
I use the falconzero and it works fine for me. Sound quality could be better. The issues you had with the mirror not being usable cuz you had to point the camera on the road which made the mirror misaligned for the driver happens when the drivers are on the shorter side. I'm 6ft and my head is almost to the headliner of the car so the mirror stays relatively in a straight angle and it works fine for me. If I was 3 inches shorter on my seat, the mirror would have to point at a downward angle which would make the camera point to high or low on the road.
I've had this camera for over a year already. It's really cool and all I don't touch it much since its in my car and it turns on and off by itself I sometimes forget it's there recording all the time.
How do you deal with the cams only showing half of what you need to see? How did you deal with the mirror / cams adjusting so you could get a decent recording? Thanks for the comment.
Uber Man the way I seat on my car i can get a good angle on the mirror and camera. I don't use any one the buttons on my mirror so that's not a deal breaker for me. And the ingle on the inside camera covers the back of my car food now the front is narrow wish it would be wider but it's not that bad. If they fix gh issues you pointed out this camera would be one of gh best ones out there.

I agree with the issues Uber Man had. Not being able to adjust the cameras up and down is bad, and the view angle is just too small.
I wonder if you can watch only one video at a time. Like if you were going to make a video, could you show the road, then in another clip show the interior shot? Or do you have to use the side-by-side video?
Side-by-side only. It records that way.
I'm interested in this because I want to record the road as well as any police encounter or other encounter at the driver side door.

I have this cam. Works great in my Toyota Rav4. The night vision could be better.
Uber Dad does the visual screen have to stay on the whole time though?
i have this camera and while I like it for the most part, I do agree with his cons -- the angle isn't wide enough and because of the limited camera rotation, I can't adjust the camera to exactly where I'd like it.

Mine works with a 64 gig card with no issues. It was a cat 10.
That camera setup is far better than the HD mirror cam.
Thanks again for a solid review! Though the IR does work fairly well as seen in this video, the audio quality and field of view are still lacking (and it seems like less than 120 degrees to me). A little vertical adjustment on the cameras seems to be in order, as well, but it looks like you can get the horizontal positioning you need, even if you have to switch which camera is facing which direction. I assume that audio and video still don't sync properly, but I couldn't tell, because of the narrow field of view.
As I commented on your side-by-side review, I like the unobtrusiveness of mounting small cameras on the rearview, but I don't like covering the stock mirror (mine has a compass, garage door opener, and brightness sensor built in). I think it would have been better for Falcon to have made a unit which clips to the back side of the mirror with just the cameras and controls, with a separate screen to mount on your windshield or dash.
However, kudos to Falcon for sending one to you to review. I'm assuming they checked out some of your other videos, and knew you would be brutally honest about their product. They obviously made a quality piece of equipment, as evidenced by the number of people who use the F360, but it falls short for many of us.

It would be nice if the interior camera had a wide angle lens to see more of whats going on with the passengers and driver. it would be nice if the night vision was stronger and was also automatic.
your right the limitation and lack of wide angle on cams is making me not like this unit in my van.
To be honest I don't think this dash cam is worth the price. I really don't want to cover up my car's mirror, the audio wasn't great, viewing angle not enough, and and the picture isn't as good as others. I've decided on the N2 and will be ordering it Monday. Loved your video as always. I look forward to them.
I have to agree with the viewing angle. The F360 is a good camera, but not for everyone.

I like the picture quality, but the sound is a bit muffled. Where is the microphone on the device? Can it be adjusted to face different directions?
Maybe the next version will have 4 cameras. Left end recording left, right end recording right, then the 2 middle cameras recording forward and backward. 4K is exactly 4 FullHD screens, so all 4 FullHD cameras should fit nicely onto a 4K video.

It'd be cool to be able to turn off the display but still film idk if you already can.. Might make customers uncomfortable but at the same time might keep them from starting shit.
It shuts off within a few minutes. The timer is adjustable.

and did not realize the fucken thing had power going through the cigarette lighter.

+Auto Auction Rebuilds Do you know if it's possible to set the system up to save the GPS data separately from the recordings? I know that you can download a program called "Dashcam Viewer" and then extract the GPS data from the .mov file recordings, but the problem is obviously the recordings take up FAR more space than the GPS data, so every few hours of video footage, that GPS history that's embedded in the .mov file recordings that are about to be overwritten (aka deleted) is going to be lost forever. I'd love to be able to load all my GPS history (over several months or even years) onto Google Maps, that would be super cool, but that's not possible unless you extract the GPS data from the dashcam after every 1-2 hours of using the dashcam, which is totally impractical.
it looks pretty cool to me I'm not worried about certain things like while I'm driving even though that's a good option back and front recordes even though it's not being seen on the mirror my concern is when my vehicle is parked who's messing with it trying to scratch it break a window flatten a tire that's what I want to catch
My only question is why they don’t have inbuilt battery that last for few years instead of that long wire?
Having a problem with video. I cant watch the video back on my Mac? The pictures show up fine but the video just wont play.

They should have separated the cameras, and the night vision is still really bad. I agree with you that it doesn't have a wide enough angle lens.
I feel the same way. I think with wider angle lenses, separate video files, and 2 more IR LEDs it would be a lot better.

Seems to me the rear camera is not of much use for it covers only the interior view of the car.
I had this camera for almost two years. It sucks. Probably because I neglect to properly clean the windshield, so the IR lights bounce off the dirt and pollen to make the picture too bright. I still need a consensus on how to super clean the glass and coat it so stuff just rinses off easily.
For an interior view, someone in the right rear seat can easily hide from it.
Im a new Uber driver and Im looking for a camera option. I've found that about 1/2 of the customers I have like to ride up front. Is your mirror really close to you or will it not pick up the front seat passengers?
all the dash cams has plus and minuses ,if you believe you have issues with mounting or have OnStar etc., this cam should not be near top of the list.
I own one of these units. How can I make the camera maintain the calendar and clock, when the car ignition is turned off? 😊
I just got this, do I have to take the whole camera inside to view or can I just take the SD card in and put into my computer? I put it in my mac and it says empty. I noticed the additional USB plug but I don't see how taking the whole camera inside is easy.
Just the SD card. That's all you need.

I'm confused. How can anyone recommend a combo camera/mirror that when using the camera, means you cannot use the rear view mirroror when using the rear view mirror the camera is no longer on the subjects? Thats seems very like a major fail to me for any price. Thoughts uberman?
I recommend it because tons of drivers already have it, and they love it. So it seems there is a market for it. Each car is designed differently. Therefore there are probably tons of cars this works well in. In my Elantra, and Cruze, it does not work well at all.

One thing about it n all cameras should have is zoom.You can see good in the back but night time sucks.But every camera is good remember they where made for accidents mines is for the police 🤫. Remember one thing about all cameras if you choose to use it in court you better be at a complete stop ✌️

it is almost perfect...the viewing angle is too small you can barely see half of the inside of the car. SMH that sucks so bad.

I bought this product in Feb. 2015, and it works well until a few days ago. It started giving me card error messages although the card is verified being good. I am using the SanDisk Extreme 32GB MicroSDHC UHS-I Card, and still getting card error message. Unfortunately, I have not been able to contact Falcon Zero for days. I left messages, and emailed the company. I am losing trust in the company.

the camera stop recording I have a error card how i can fix it???
Just got mine and it says CARD ERROR. After figuring out the menu I formatted the card and it still says CARD ERROR. Any ideas or is it DOA?
The memory card that came with it didn't work in mine either. What I did was I bought a 32GB SD card from a store that sells SD cards, formatted it on my falcon zero while the car ignition is on, set the calendar and clock, waited for it to turn itself off, then manually turned it on, and it started recording. The only issue with this dash cam is that it can not maintain the calendar and clock after turning off the car ignition. The video and audio recording are great during the day. At night, the light sources from cars and street lights look like sparkles or stars with points. 🙂

The Falcon Zero is a piece of shit. I have bought four different ones had to return every one as defective. It appears they have no quality control at all. Do not buy this crap if you need a working camera
