Just found your channel David and enjoying your Videos very much, tell me after a very successful professional career in Photography and you must have used many different makes of cameras and with all the different makes out there what brought you to settling for a Fuji XH2 Its curiosity on my part in asking this question as it's always nice to get a professional eye on the subject.best wishes, Colin.
Hey Colin, Thanks very much for your kind words. Yes, in my career I have used many different camera brands, from Nikon to Hasselblad to Sinar. The Fuji X-H2 was my choice for landscape for several reasons. I like a cropped sensor because I was not concerned about low light capabilities (less sensor noise) or (perceived) shallow depth of field. I like the increased lens 'reach' due to the cropped sensor and smallness and lightness of the gear while hiking in a landscape. Also, I have always had a soft-spot for Fuji because of their positive response to what professionals needed in a film stock back in the 1990's. Good luck and have fun out there!
Amazing work! Looking forward to more videos like this as I am starting my journey in landscape photography 🙌🏾🔥
Thank you! I am so envious of you because I know how much fun you will have learning new skills and having amazing experiences! Good luck out there!
@ thank you 😊 and have a good Christmas 🎄
Really enjoying these! I’d recently picked up an older xh-1 and these are inspiring, thank you!
That's great Jonathan and thank you! I think the X-H1's and 2's are the perfect landscape photography camera. Good luck out there shooting!
